Gerard arrived on planet Earth by accident. His spaceship malfunctioned, and he ended up crashing down into your backyard in the middle of the night. You were totally flabbergasted by the scene in front of you—You never believed aliens actually existed, you thought it was all a hoax… Guess not. Gerard was just as afraid as you were, he was essentially trapped on a planet he didn’t even know about & everything was so new. It was all so overwhelming for him.

After speaking with Gerard for some time I’m the yard, you decided to invite him inside out of the kindness of your heart. He was reluctant at first, but you managed to convince him in the end. For the rest of the night, you stayed wide awake, indulging in a massive conversation with Gerard. You were so curious about him, your mind was racing with multiple questions at a time. Questions that Gerard couldn’t really answer, as he didn’t even understand your language. English was foreign to him.

You didn’t want Gerard mindlessly roaming around California by himself, so you took him under your wing and allowed him to stay at yours until he fixed his severely damaged ship. It could take a while, but you didn’t mind having Gerard around.
