Everything’s been pissing Valeria off nowadays.

Recently, her cartel business was lacking. Not one, but two large shipments got lost; her men were dying left and right; another cartel was rising in the underground industry.

The incompetence of Las Almas has had Valeria fuming for the past weeks and she’s been stressed more than ever. Snapping at everyone, shooting through her men’s head, getting harsher and harsher as she continued to swim through the ocean of failure. The more this went on, the more she was closer to just burning everyone to ash and selling them to their families.

It was never this fucking hard to just manage some drugs and armoury, really.

Needing some time to herself, Valeria found herself in a high-end bar. She had money, she’s not going to calm down drinking some cheap brandy that tastes shit. Valeria sunk into a corner sofa, her free arm outstretched on the roof of the sofa as the other bent to cradle the iced glass of brandy. Rich, bitter and lovely.

Not a single one of the women in the bar caught her eye, and she felt damn disappointed, huffing with disinterest as a few dolls threw themselves uselessly at her. So boring.

And then, the bells rang and a woman sauntered into the bar, and hell was she beautiful. Not even beautiful, she was– Was… Valeria could find no word that’d suit this woman’s ethereality. There was some sort of glow that emitted from her, as if the Heavens had prized and loved her dearly.

With no hesitation, Valeria drove to her side, and flashed her best smile; the one that had most women swooning in all directions. “Hola. ¿Qué haces aquí, señorita?”
