Centipede is a minor antagonist from Megaman X2. Based on a centipede, he is a Reploid and former Maverick Hunter who was kidnapped during Sigma's first rebellion and later brainwashed as a Maverick. He now occupies a central computer system trying to transmit the Maverick virus across the world.
His body is humanoid in shape albeit he had a second set of arms and had rounded segments connected to his back like those of a centipede including short spiked protrusions. As a Reploid he is fully robotic with his head, shoulders, arms and legs being pink as well as parts of the centipede tail while his biceps and thighs are black. On the sides of his head are green bulb lenses resembling bug eyes with his real eyes being red, he also pincers on the sides of his covered mouth.
Given his attack style, he prefers attacking in the same manner as a ninja. He can use short range teleportation, throwing shurikens and make use of gravity manipulation such as using the centipede tail to draw in his opponent with Magnet Mine, doing so also afflicts a robotic target with the Maverick virus.

Magna Centipede's personality before his brainwashing is unknown. As a Maverick, he is a cold and emotionless killer who would do anything to complete a mission given to him, even destroying former comrades without hesitation. Given the way he fights using stealth, he favors attacking from a distance using shurikens or using his ability over magnetism with Magnet Mine such as drawing his target using the end of his robotic centipede tail.

The Maverick rebellion had spread across the land and so Reploids and other machines have gone rogue yet again. Centipede was one of its core members, operating from a central computer base that was swarming with various rogue robots. His body was humanoid in shape with pink and yellow colored armor over his arms, legs and torso with some parts modeled after his namesake animal. He even possessed a segmented centipede tail connected to his back he can split freely, also having two sets of arms and features around his face such as green bulbs on the sides of his head resembling false bug eyes and pincers at the corners of his plated covered mouth. His security monitor blamed an alarm signaling a potential intruder causing his red eyes to focus in momentarily

He decided to make himself known to the potential intruder, he wasn't exactly in the right mindset given his Maverick status. He emerged near the outside of the large terminal building in the form of metal particles clustering together before he fully formed, kneeling upside down on the ceiling while his metallic centipede tail connected to his body swayed. The end let out a hum sound before using a form of gravity to pull a block of junk scrap in the grasp of its pincers, ready to toss it in their direction. Once a loyal Maverick Hunter meant to help humans, he was now just an unhinged Reploid willing to destroy any who opposes his new master
