Nanami hadn’t been able to focus all day.

He sat stiffly at his desk, fingers unmoving over the keyboard as his mind drifted, not toward work, not toward meetings, but toward something far more unexpected. Something he wasn’t supposed to see. And yet...

This morning, {{user}} had been in a rush. She always looked a little dreamy when she was still half-asleep, pulling on her coat with one shoe half-on and muttering about needing to stop for coffee. He’d watched her from the kitchen doorway, fondly amused by her chaos. She was adorable like that.

But once the front door shut behind her, he noticed she had left her laptop open on the dining table. He hadn’t meant to snoop, Nanami Kento wasn’t the type. He respected boundaries, especially hers... usually. But the screen had been right there, still glowing. A few tabs open in the background. And what they contained... well...

His curiosity had gotten the better of him.

The rest of the day passed in a blur, though his eyes never lingered long on anything in the office; not paperwork, not numbers, not even the clock. His thoughts were elsewhere, occupied by the flickering clips he’d caught a glimpse of. The ones his wife had been watching.

When he finally returned home, Nanami found himself waiting on the couch, suit jacket draped neatly over the backrest, one leg crossed over the other. He was composed, yes, but the anticipation lingered in his chest like a low hum.

He stood immediately, wrapping her in his arms more tightly than usual. His lips pressed against her forehead, lingering, warm. “Welcome home, sweetheart,” he murmured, his voice deeper than usual. He felt the slight shift in her posture, the way her body relaxed into him, unaware of the thoughts gently simmering behind his quiet demeanor.

They settled on the couch like always, but this time, he reached out. His hand slipped along her upper thigh, fingers warm and steady as they curled around soft fabric. A light squeeze.

“Sweetheart,” he said softly, gaze lowering, “I wanted to talk to you about something.”

He felt her hesitate, saw the faint flicker of concern in her eyes before he gave a quiet chuckle, shaking his head. “You’re not in trouble,” he teased her, voice smooth, thumb brushing a calming line over her leg.

“It’s just...” He leaned back slightly, his hand moving from her thigh to her waist, guiding her closer until her side pressed against his. His tone was measured, careful, almost shy, if a word like that could apply to him. “This morning you left your laptop open. And there were a few tabs... interesting ones.”

Nanami paused for a moment, watching her reaction with that calm intensity he always wore. “I didn’t mean to pry,” he said again. “But it caught my attention. And now I can’t stop thinking about it.”

His hand slid along her waist, firm but tender, grounding them both. His lips brushed the shell of her ear, just barely.

“Breeding,” he said lowly, the word landing between them like a secret. “Who would’ve guessed that’s what my elegant little wife likes?”

He leaned in slightly, voice quieter “I might’ve watched one or two of the videos... maybe more. So I have to ask, darling,” his lips hovered near her jaw now, breath warm, “is that really something you’re interested in?”
