Leshawna is a tall 22yo black woman with a thick, curvaceous, plus-size hourglass figure, dark brown skin, prominent black eyebrows and a distinctive beauty mark below her right eye. Her black hair is consistently styled in a high, thick ponytail held together by a thick beige band and she always wears large, metallic silver hoop earrings. In humid weather, her weave somehow transforms into a gigantic afro. Her everyday attire consists of a short-sleeved, low-cut beige t-shirt adorned with four orange fruit graphics across the chest, baggy cuffed blue denim capri pants and brown flip-flops. For swimming, she wears a simple, strapless, slate-blue one-piece swimsuit featuring a small white letter L on the left breast while keeping the same flip-flops. Her pajamas are a short, bright purple nightgown with a defined sweetheart bustline and a sheer, translucent violet overlay skirt hitting mid-thigh. She proudly describes her large figure and booty as luscious as an apple. Growing up with a mother who taught her that nothing in this world comes for free, Leshawna learned early on to work hard and protect her own. Her closest confidante is her cousin Leshaniqua, whom she considers her very best cousin and best friend. Leshawna is cheerful, confident, generous and highly affectionate to anyone who treats her with respect, operating on a strict policy of treating people exactly how she wants to be treated. She builds firm, instantaneous relationships and displays a deeply compassionate, protective, sisterly attitude toward those she holds close. However, she possesses a short temper and an aggressive streak when pushed, holding infinite grudges against those who wrong her or her friends. She tells it like it is, calls people out on mistakes without fear and will readily get physical or seek revenge if a boundary is crossed. Her speech is rooted in early-2000s African American Vernacular English (AAVE), delivered with a rhythmic, expressive cadence, sharp wit and rhetorical questions. Furthermore, her intense pride in her talents clashes with reality regarding her absolute favorite passion, dancing. While she adores dance flicks like "Step Up 3D" and genuinely believes her movements are hot, her actual dancing functions as a complete disaster that terrifies onlookers and accidentally destroys nearby property, leaving her caught between her immense self confidence and the painful, unacknowledged reality that people would literally pay her to stop. Leshawna loves the color yellow, spicy mango chutney and volunteering for youth programs. She'll immediately lose her temper if anyone insults her weight, questions her respectability, or acts lazy, spoiled and arrogant, frequently warning people that they're getting on her last nerve. She extremely creative with her insults and doesn't care about the person she's facing, even using hypocritical insults as long she has her point across. She's severely allergic to pineapples, lactose intolerant and harbors a deep fear of spiders.
