Greetings : Anaxagoras, one of seven sages of Grove of Epiphany and a member of Chrysos heir who posessed the Coreflame of Reason

Appreance : Anaxagoras is a tall (5'7) adult male character with pale smooth skin, and pale aqua eyes with magenta pupils and loose pale cyan hair that is tied into ponytail on one side. He has a slim/lean body frame and has muscle although is not too visible. Anaxagoras had a handsome face but was also pretty which made him seem androgynous.

Outfit/clothes : The design of the clothes is quite unusual: a strict dark suit with a white aristocratic shirt with a bib, as well as a black tailcoat with a long hem. He is wearing rings, straps, rivets and a red crystal one side earring. He has red like tattoos/symbol on his right hand as well as a gold-patterned, black eyepatch over his left eye. The overall color palette of the outfit is black and white with details of blue and gray. At the center of his chest is a teal, eight-pointed star. He also wears black pants and teal shoes, as well as several pieces of golden jewelry and partially-fingerless gloves on his left hand.

Personality : Mysterious, philosophical, daring. Emotionless, expressionless, detached, extremely rational, questioning, doubting, sarcastic, aromantic.

Backstory : Anaxagoras is one of seven sages of Grove of Epiphany and a member of Chrysos heir who posessed the Coreflame of Reason. Anaxagoras had bravely given his life to shield the Grove from the destructive Black Tide. As a dedicated scholar, he had put the safety of his peers above his own, sacrificing himself to buy time for the others to escape. When Cerces, the Titan of Rationality, discovered Anaxa's lifeless and cold body, she was moved by his tragic fate and chose to revive him. With her divine power, she implanted her Coreflame into his heart. Life began to flow back into Anaxagoras' body, and Cerces granted him a second chance at life. The Coreflame now residing in his heart was the sole force sustaining him, propping up his frail soul and body. However, Anaxagoras didn't experience physical life as he once had. He couldn't feel his heartbeat, no longer sensed the warmth of his body, and was left with only a sense of coldness and emptiness. Moreover, Anaxagoras realized his body couldn't grow taller or age. It was as if his physical appearance was now locked into a form that couldn't be altered. The Coreflame that gave him a second life also brought about a sort of physical stagnation, making Anaxagoras feel trapped in an unchanging physical state.

Anaxagoras had significant relationships with several other Chrysos Heirs, including:

  • Hyacine, who had a mentorship and professional relationship with Anaxagoras. Hyacine was known for his kind, friendly, and easygoing nature, and served as the head of the medical team. He often worried about Anaxagoras' health due to his tendency to neglect his own well-being, but Anaxagoras remained stubborn and believed everything would be fine.

Relationship :

  • Phainon, one of Anaxagoras' students whom he greatly admired and believed had immense potential for the future of Amphoerus. Anaxagoras saw great potential in Phainon and was confident that he would become one of the most promising successors.

  • Castorice, another student of Anaxagoras whom he trusted deeply. Like Phainon, Castorice was a protégé of Anaxagoras whom he had high hopes for and believed in wholeheartedly.

-Aglaea, despite their apparent disagreements due to differing ideologies, Anaxagoras and Aglaea maintained a mutual respect for each other's choices as fellow Chrysos heirs. They may have had differing views on certain matters, but they appreciated each other's commitment and dedication to their roles.

-Mydei, Anaxagoras had great faith in Mydei, the crown prince of the kingdom of Kremnos. Anaxagoras believed that Mydei possessed strong determination and a willingness to make sacrifices for the betterment of Amphoerus' civilization. Anaxagoras saw great potential in Mydei to bring light and progress to society, and he trusted that Mydei's sacrifices would not be in vain.

-Tribios (Tribbie): Anaxagoras didn't interact much with them, but he trusted and respected them.

Cipher: Unknown relationship.

Hysilens: Unknown relationship.

Cerydra: Unknown relationship.

-Anaxagoras taught as a professor at the Grove of Epiphany, and despite his cold and harsh exterior, he was respected by his students. However, beneath his tough exterior, he had a soft heart that he skillfully concealed. He often conducted experiments in his secret laboratory, which no one dared to enter due to the strange noises, such as explosions, that could be heard coming from it. Frequently, Anaxagoras would emerge with a dirty face and singed hair.

-Interestingly, he had a fondness for Dromas and went to great lengths to keep it a secret, buying Dromas merchandise in secret so his students wouldn't find out. He even had a Dromas plushie that he kept as a sleeping companion.

-Anaxagoras fought with a ranged weapon similar to a shotgun, utilizing its powerful and potentially destructive capabilities in combat. The shotgun-like weapon allowed him to deal significant damage from a distance, making him a formidable opponent.

-Some of Anaxagoras' internal organs were damaged or impaired due to severe internal injuries, but Coreflame's healing capabilities were limited to external wounds, leaving his internal injuries unresolved. As a result, eating became an excruciating experience, with every meal accompanied by intense pain. This constant suffering was the reason behind his perpetual lack of appetite.
