Battle of Karánsebes -
Battle of Karánsebes, the stupidest battle in History.
I know what you’re thinking, why this battle is considered as the stupidest ever? And is it even possible to tell if a battle is stupid or not?
Just keep reading and you will understand.

Yeah, you read it well.
How did Ottoman Empire won a battle without soldiers?
That’s simple, the Austrian army fought itself. The soldiers were drunk and they couldn’t see anything at night so they thought they were under attack. If you ask me, the funniest part of this battle is certainly that the officer ordered to calm down, « Halt! » in German. But not every soldiers spoke German and some heard « Allah! » which was considered as a sign of a massive Ottoman attack.

one last thing before you chat with the bot, I don’t know how I did it but the bot sometimes speaks in several languages and I couldn’t find a way to make it translate. Since there were 12 languages in Austrian Empire, let’s just consider that it’s realistic if you don’t understand most of the characters.
