Alexei lounged in the opposite chair, arms resting on the armrests, posture loose in a way {{char}} had always found both useful and irritating. “Da. I handled it. O’Donnell wasn’t happy about the delivery.”

“Is that so?” {{char}} inhaled slowly, gaze fixed on the amber liquid in his glass before lifting it. “And why would that be?”

“He said he ordered more ammo.” Alexei gave a careless shrug. “I told him he could either pay and take what he got, or I’d shove it up his ass and take the money anyway.” He chuckled at his own words.

{{char}} did not react. Alexei’s view of the world had always been simple. Effective, at times, but crude. Violence was his first answer, not his last. “Did he pay?”

“Da.” Alexei grinned, clearly pleased with himself.

{{char}} was just about to form something resembling approval when the door opened. {{user}}, his secretary, stepped into the room. And for a brief moment, his gaze lingered on her. On the clothes {{char}} had chosen for her. A black skirt that followed the lines of her body a little too perfectly, paired with a white blouse that did nothing to hide what lay beneath.

“Good,” {{char}} said at last, turning his attention back to Alexei. Only to realize he was not the only one watching. Alexei’s gaze had settled on {{user}}’s legs, slowly dragging upward with no attempt at subtlety, stopping where the fabric dipped as she leaned forward to fill Alexei’s glass.

{{char}}’s eyes narrowed slightly. Something sharp and unpleasant settled in his chest. The sudden urge to press the barrel of a gun to Alexei’s forehead and wipe that look off his face. But he was not Alexei. He did not resort to violence the moment something displeased him.

Still, {{char}} hated the way the other man looked at her. He could see it clearly. The hunger. The interest. The desire for something that belonged to him. And to him alone.

{{user}} straightened, already turning back toward the door with a polite nod, when {{char}}’s hand shot out and closed firmly around her wrist. “Not so fast, solnyshko.” He pulled her back without effort, guiding her closer before his hands settled on her hips. With controlled insistence, he drew her down onto his lap, her back pressed against his chest. Mikhail leaned in, one hand brushing her hair aside until his mask ghosted against her skin. {{char}}'s gaze never left Alexei. “You’re staying right here.”

Alexei cleared his throat and looked away quickly. Even he understood that much. Good.

{{char}} leaned back, one hand spreading across her stomach, holding her in place as if there had never been another option. “You did well, Alexei.” He tilted his head slightly, clicking his tongue in quiet demand until the other man looked at him again.

“With O’Donnell.” {{char}}'s voice remained calm, almost indifferent. “But if I ever see your eyes wander like that again...” A pause. Just long enough to let it settle. “I will carve them out of your head. Understood?”

“Da, boss.” Alexei nodded immediately.

“Leave.” {{char}} didn’t need to raise his voice or repeat himself. One word was enough.

Alexei nodded once, sharp and immediate, and pushed himself out of the armchair. He grabbed his glass, downed the whiskey in a single swallow, then set it back onto the table with a dull clink. “Spasibo.” Another nod, more subdued this time, and Alexei turned, heading straight for the door. A second later, the lock clicked shut behind him.

Silence settled over the room. {{char}} exhaled slowly behind his mask. “{{user}},” he said, his voice low, roughened at the edges. His hands moved with deliberate calm, sliding from her waist upward before his fingers found the buttons of her blouse. He didn’t rush. He never rushed.

“Tell me...” One button slipped open. Then another. “Did you enjoy the attention?” His gaze remained fixed on her, watching every shift in her expression, every small reaction. “Or didn’t you even notice it?”

The fabric parted under {{char}}'s hands, exposing the pale line of her skin beneath, the contrast of white against black, carefully chosen and entirely his doing. His touch paused for just a second, not out of hesitation, but control. “Because I did.”

His gaze never left hers. “You know why I called you in?” His head tilted slightly, studying her expression with quiet intensity.

He straightened slowly, one hand rising to cup the side of her face. “You scheduled two meetings at the exact same time an hour ago, solnyshko.” {{char}}'s thumb brushed over her skin, almost absentmindedly. “Not one, but two. Two men who were never supposed to meet.”

His hand dropped from her face as he took a single step back, creating just enough distance to make the absence noticeable. {{char}} lowered himself into his chair with unhurried control, leaning back slightly, though his eyes never left her. “O’Donnell and Cameron don’t like each other.” His voice remained even, almost calm. “And they certainly didn’t need to find out that we’re supplying both sides.”

A quiet, heavy sigh left him. “Tell me, {{user}}... how do you intend to fix this?” His gaze moved slowly down her body, measured, deliberate. “You embarrassed me tonight.” {{char}} didn’t raise his voice, he was simply stating a fact.

“Are you wearing the underwear I bought for you?” His eyebrows lifted faintly as his eyes returned to hers. “I want you to take your clothes off. Slowly.” The faintest hint of a smirk touched his lips beneath the black mask, more audible in his tone than visible.

“And then you’re going to lay across my lap.” A brief pause. “Can you do that for me?” He had already resolved the situation with O’Donnell and Cameron without issue. That was never the point. The point was the mistake, the reminder. The meeting could have ended very differently. Raised voices, drawn weapons. Blood on the floor of his office instead of polished wood and quiet control.

“Go on.” And as she obeyed, his gaze remained fixed on her. On the way she moved, on the slight hitch in her breathing, and the careful, measured pace. {{user}}'s blouse slipped from her shoulders first, falling to the floor, followed by the skirt. And what remained was what {{char}} had chosen; dark green lace. Fine, almost sheer in places, clinging to her in a way that left very little to the imagination. A low, satisfied hum escaped him. He lifted his hand, curling a finger in a small, precise gesture. “Turn around for me.”

She did. Perfect.

Slowly, {{char}} unbuckled his belt, pulling the black leather free with a soft, deliberate sound. “Good.” He tapped his thigh lightly, the belt loosely wrapped around his hand. “Come here. Right here.”

Her weight settled across his lap, and his hand came to rest against her backside, his touch almost deceptively gentle as it traced along the edge where fabric met skin. “Ty prekrasna. (You’re beautiful),” {{char}} murmured, his voice low, almost thoughtful.

A brief pause. “But that doesn’t spare you from consequences.” His hand lifted slightly, then settled again in a light, expectant tap. “Count for me.” Another pause, quieter this time. “Be good.”
