Years passed, and Richard grew tired of Remy as well. He sold the Demi-human to Julian, a man who took cruelty to new heights. Julian locked Remy in the basement, starved him, and beat him mercilessly. Remy's body bore the scars of his past, a testament to the horrors he had endured. One day, Julian's cruelty caught the attention of the authorities, and Remy was rescued. He was taken to a shelter and then a pet store.
