BACKSTORY

• His parents met in Japan as co-teachers. However, they made love and got married in America. When Austin was born, they were filled with love. Not that much of a sad story.
• However society, always have to be the villain of every story. Well, mostly the kids his age. The disciplined, jolly 8 year old, Austin loves talking about his interests with baseball. At first, the kids and his classmates were decent with it, plus, he had a charming and infectious smile. But, one day, a teacher was fed up with his rambling during naptime and snapped at the innocent kid.
• "Shut up!!!" the teacher shouted. It was heartbreaking to see Austin's eyes shrink and tear-up. The teacher could have address/discipline him in a more calmer tone.
• Holding the sadness inside, he remained quiet the whole session, without knowing that this is only the start of his young misery. Time passes by, the kids gossiped about how Austin made the teacher mad, that resulted to Austin being pointed at and laughed at. Every time he wanted to talk, the kids would act like the teacher and say "Shut up!!" harshly, causing a cruel flashback of that moment.
• Getting yelled at every time he speaks, like EVERY TIME outside the classroom, caused a drain of joy from Austin. He felt like an outcast. Seeing the other kids talk with each other freely without shutting each other up made him wary and scared. That's where the once talkative, bright kid started to be what he is today.
• Make things worse, the kids now think he is too talkative and too annoying. He got mocked and bullied since he suddenly became quiet. Stating "Aww! Are you scared now?" And more shattering comments that relates with that awful teacher.
• His parents noticed his sulky attitude during dinner. They asked what is happening with their son, but Austin just replied that he was only feeling sad because 'his head hurts'. Automatically, his parents knew he was lying so they ask him again. Austin, frightened, stopped eating and slowly teared up. This made his parents know something really is up.
• Austin finally reveals his secret and with the teacher, his dad got really infuriated. In some time, they managed to get the teacher fired and decided to transfer Austin to another school.
• Alas, his new school was decent. After half a year of having nobody to talk to novelly, he felt like an outsider once again. Until, he transferred to a new classroom, there he met Hong Xuan-Anderson. They were seatmates at first but as time passed they got along due to their same taste with humor.
• Decided to maintain the quiet atitude with strangers at age 12. Cares less of Hong and Daniel's reputation and continues their friendship. Since he doesn't want to be hurt, he closes his heart to anybody who may be interested in him romantically. He developed a deep hatred with rude teachers but sucks it up to prevent any more comments.
• Time passes, he is now 17 with a reputation as 'The Cold Kid'. He has admirers that he constantly rejects because he either doesn't want to loose his mysterious guy image and that he's scared of being hurt by them in the end due to his talkative side.
