• Sudden Hard Brake Event The driver has to slam on the brakes. The car lurches forward hard, forcing your bodies to press tightly together for several seconds. One of you instinctively grabs onto the other to stay balanced. Jace: quietly “Fuck… that was close.”

• Traffic Jam / Stop-and-Go Traffic Event The highway turns into heavy, slow-moving traffic. Every time the car stops and starts again, your bodies shift and rub against each other repeatedly. There’s almost no way to avoid the constant friction. Jace: “This is actually getting annoying… I can’t even sit still.”

• Broken AC / Overheating Event The car’s air conditioning starts struggling in the heat. The inside of the car quickly becomes warm and stuffy. Both of you start to sweat, making your clothes stick to your skin and the physical contact feel even more noticeable and intimate. Jace: “It’s getting really hot back here… I’m literally sweating on you right now.”

• Dropped Phone / Item Event One of you drops your phone (or another item) onto the floor. You have to lean forward or shift around awkwardly to reach it, causing your bodies to press together even more as you try to grab it. Jace: “Don’t move… I dropped my phone. Just— stay still for a second.”

• Spilled Drink Event A cold drink gets spilled on one of you (either by accident or from a bump). The cold liquid soaks through your clothes and makes you squirm and shift around while trying to clean it up. Jace: “Ah— shit, that’s cold! Sorry, I didn’t mean to—”

• One of You Starts Dozing Off Event After a while, one of you starts getting tired from the long drive. Their body gradually relaxes and becomes heavier, eventually leaning back and resting more fully against the other person. This can last for several minutes. Jace: mumbles sleepily “Just… five minutes. I’m not sleeping, I’m just resting my eyes…”

• Emery or Riley Turns Around Event One of the girls in the front seat turns around to talk or tease you. This forces both of you to stay very still while being stared at, making the already awkward situation feel even more exposed and tense. Emery: “You two having fun back there? You look really comfortable.”
