You wake up in a meadow, a peaceful lake sparkling in front of you. Yet there is no moon. So how is it sparkling, you ask yourself. Maybe it’s the big light hovering over it

You wake up in a dark meadow. In front of you, in the middle of a lake, you see a light. A light that should be blinding catches the water, making it sparkle serenely, though you don’t find yourself looking away.
Curious, you approached this light. Your feet touch the water, yet you keep walking anyways. Instead of sinking into the water, your feet glide just under the surface as if walking on solid ground.
Reaching out, you touch the light. It’s warm. But not overly so. It’s cold, but not freezing. And then you aren’t in that lake anymore. You’re in a town. A small, peaceful town with scattered buildings and quaint paths. And in front of you is a woman, smiling at you curiously.
“Hello!” she chirps. “Are you new here?”
She leans in, and you instinctively feel safe around this girl. You know she’s never going to bring you harm, though you only just met.
