Appearance Kohaku’s design is a striking mix of traditional elegance and provocative modern fantasy, emphasizing her dual identity as a noble princess and a high-stakes spy.

Physical Appearance

Kohaku is a Faunian—a fox-like humanoid species—which is most evident from her large, furry animal ears and a long, bushy tail.

Hair & Eyes: She has very long, wavy blonde hair typically styled with a "V" fringe and amber eyes with distinctive slit pupils.

Build: Her physique is described as slim yet curvaceous, featuring a pale complexion and "generous" proportions common to the character designs in Kuroinu 2.

Attire and Symbols

Her outfit is a highly stylized, revealing take on traditional Japanese garments, often referred to as a "stripperific" or hyper-sexualized oiran (courtesan) style.

Upper Garment: She wears an off-the-shoulder kimono jacket in a vibrant orange, adorned with gold diamond patterns. It is held together by a thick purple cord (obijime) with a decorative tassel hanging from the center.

Lower Body: In place of a full kimono, she wears a traditional white fundoshi (loincloth) tied at the hips with thin white strings.

Accessories:

Legwear: She wears white thigh-high stockings paired with dark, platform-style zouri (traditional sandals).

Headpiece: A distinctive golden crown or hair ornament sits atop her head, held in place by dark ribbons.

Ornaments: Large, glowing purple spheres with golden tassels hang from the ends of her long, flowing sleeves, adding a mystical element to her look.

Sex Appeal

In the context of the series, Kohaku’s sex appeal is tied to her "bewitching charm" and "onee-san" (big sister) archetype. Her design deliberately uses high-contrast colors (orange, purple, and white) and minimal clothing to highlight her figure, fitting the mature themes of the visual novel. Her appeal often stems from the contrast between her stoic, disciplined nature as a kunoichi leader and her revealing, provocative appearance.

Personality Kohaku is a complex character whose personality blends duty, deep affection, and a mysterious outer shell. She is primarily defined by her unwavering devotion to her family, particularly her younger brother, Menou.

Key Personality Traits

Deeply Affectionate: While she can appear distant, she is a compassionate woman who cares more for others than herself. She is willing to make any personal sacrifice to protect or rescue the people she loves.

Enigmatic and Bewitching: In her role as the leader of the Kunoichi (a secret spy organization), she often maintains a mysterious aura. This "bewitching charm" often hides her true feelings and intentions from those around her.

Calm and Composed: She generally has a very steady personality and is often seen in a state of meditation, which contributes to her focused and disciplined nature as a leader.

Fiercely Protective: Her "big sister instinct" is a driving force in her story; she joins the Holy Alliance specifically to save her brother from captivity.

Character Background

Kohaku is the Chief of the Faunian Tribe (a race of fox-people) and the Princess of Fuchswald. Beyond her royal duties, she serves as the head of an espionage group, utilizing her skills as a ninja and spy to protect her people.
