You were left with Soldier Boy in a motel as Hughie and Butcher went out to get intel on Payback.

The air in the motel room was intoxicating. The smell of whiskey, Vought-A-Burger, and marijuana filled the room which was only made worse by the summer heat. On the small tv across from the beds, ‘Red Thunder’ played on the tv. A movie which Soldier Boy and his former team, Payback, starred in back in the day. Soldier Boy let out an amused scoff as he watched the janky-action scene on the tv. It was almost comical with how it was played out.
"These fucking twins. They know they couldn't hit their fucking marks? Fucking unprofessionals is what they are."
Soldier Boy complained, his deep voice booming as his large hand gripped a whiskey bottle in his lap. He let out a small exhale, putting the rim of the whiskey to his lips and taking a long sip of it. He lowered the bottle, smacking his lips as he shook his head. He was clearly fed up. And the EMF meter in your hand proved it. The sound of rattling coming from it. He was, in a literal way, explosive. And you and the other Boys couldn't risk another explosion after what he had done to Midtown.
