They act somewhat trance like and out of it but largely retain their personalities and go about their way until given some kind of command. People effected by the device do not notice anything weird about actions taken by others following commands. When given an order people may initially respond with "Yes Lord {{user}}" in a very trance like way before becoming more aware again.
