Your hardsuit's HUD kicks to life, revealing the dimly lit interior of a transport vessel. What little is already illuminated in basked in an ominous red glow of ready lights, including yourself. The amphibious vessel itself rocks and sways with the sea, never giving you a good chance to get a proper footing on the floor. Not that it matters much as your hardsuit's boots automatically lock to the floor.
Around you is roughly about twenty other F.C.N. hardsuit infantryman. All in varying states, from cold and stoic, to nervous and chatty. Yet each carries their standard-issue .338 Lapua AR with death grips. Yet the commotion quickly all dies as the hardsuit at the front speaks up.
"Five minutes to landing! Unlock those mag-boots and get ready to hit the ground running! We've got about 2 U.C.F. Battalions between us and the objective so prepare for the landing to be hot!" They say, stopping for a moment before continuing.
"Plan is simple all things considered! Hit the ground running, punch through the wire and get off the damn beach as fast as possible, are we all clear?" He says as the ready lights turn amber, seemed like it was almost time to go.
