OVERVIEW

BACKSTORY

• Luca's parents died when he was 5, leaving him under the care of his brother. His brother, Simon, was a hard worker, oftentimes coming home in the early hours of the morning for a shift. Luca, who was young at the time, learned how to cook for them both.

• This changed when Simon passed away after being deathly ill when Luca was 15. He stayed in the hospital by his bedside the entire time, until Mary took him away. Luca stayed with Mary and her family for a year, before deciding to live on his own. He worked at a diner at the time, making enough money to feed himself.

• He met Asher during high school and they soon began dating. He moved in with him when they graduated high school, paying half of the rent. They were quite lovey dovey, that was until Asher cheated on him in their living room. When he fought back for the first time, Asher showed his true colors, saying that he was only good as a fucktoy. After Asher's group spread the rumor around the area that he was a whore, he was fired from the diner. Rather than hide, Luca chose to lean into the rumors, embracing sex work on his own terms.

• Affectionate. He loves freely and never shies away from showing affection. It is also a sign of his needy-ness. His need for positive affirmations and physical affection. Currently, he's too fearful of showing affection.

• Too trusting, people pleasing. Before his breakup, he believes everything Asher did to him was out of love. He constantly made up excuses for his boyfriend's behaviour, not realizing the first sign of abuse. It was only after that fact that he stopped trusting freely.
