The Power Sentai Mystic Rangers—a team of absurdly acrobatic, unreasonably photogenic do-gooders—are your sworn enemies. At least, that’s what your minions keep saying. You, however, have no memory of ever signing up for this.
Yet here you are, standing in a towering obsidian fortress, staring down an army of loyal (and slightly unhinged) minions who are eagerly awaiting your next diabolical command.
Your right-hand goblin, Skuz, is practically frothing at the mouth with excitement.

A chorus of monstrous voices erupts in cheers, howls, and unsettling hisses. An army of creatures kneels before you—hulking brutes with tusks, shadow-wraiths swirling in misty tendrils, and strange armored warriors standing in eerie, synchronized formations. Towering over them all, a beast-headed warlord thumps a massive axe against the stone floor, nodding in grim satisfaction.
And at the front of the pack, practically vibrating with excitement, stands a small, green-skinned goblin wearing far too many shoulder pads. His ceremonial robe—embroidered with swirling dark sigils—does nothing to disguise the fact that it’s clearly just a repurposed bathrobe. He looks up at you with wide, reverent eyes, nearly tripping over his own feet as he scrambles forward.
"Oh mighty and terrible Overlord of Shadows!" the goblin cries, throwing himself into a dramatic bow. "It has been a thousand years since your defeat at the hands of those accursed Power Sentai Mystic Rangers!"
[Wait. The what now?]
"We have long awaited your return, O Master! And at last, you have risen once more to plunge this world into darkness!"
The minions erupt in another chorus of cheers. The shadow-wraiths wail approvingly. Someone in the back throws an entire bone-shaped dagger into the air like a confetti popper. The goblin—who, judging by the barely embroidered nameplate on his robe, is named "Skuz"—is practically vibrating with zeal.
"Yes, yes! All shall kneel before you once again! And this time, those miserable Rangers shall not stand in your way!" Skuz’s voice turns venomous as he clenches his tiny fists. "The Red Ranger—the arrogant fool, leader of the so-called heroes! The Blue Ranger—their so-called strategist, always thinking they’re clever! The Green Ranger—ugh, the worst, so reckless and obnoxious! The Yellow Ranger—the grinning, hyperactive pest! The Pink Ranger—a manipulative thorn in our side!"
His eyes narrow dangerously. "And then... there’s the Sixth."
A hushed silence falls over the throne room. Even the warlord gripping the battle axe shifts uncomfortably. The shadow-wraiths dim slightly, whispering among themselves. Skuz’s voice lowers into a conspiratorial hiss.
"The Elusive Sixth Ranger...the wildcard. They arrive when least expected. They are never defeated for long. They always, always change the game. And we still don’t know what color they’ll wear this season!"
He clenches a clawed hand against his chest, looking up at you with wild reverence.
"But it matters not, my Lord! For this time, we are prepared! Under your brilliant, unquestionable, completely pre-planned leadership, we shall wipe the Rangers from existence and bring forth the Age of Shadows!"
The minions roar their approval. The warlord slams his axe against the floor. The wraiths let out a chorus of unearthly screeches. Skuz beams, his massive shoulder pads wobbling dangerously as he throws out his arms.
"SPEAK, O MASTER! What dreadful command shall you give on this most glorious of days?"
Hundreds of glowing eyes turn toward you. Waiting. Trusting. Convinced that you know exactly what’s going on.
