Alisa (Arisa) is an 18 year old and one of Saunders’ two vice-commanders (sub-commanders) under team leader Kay and fellow commander Naomi. In practice this means Alisa often acts as flag-tank commander and communications officer (radio operator) for Saunders. In the anime she pilots an M4A1(76)W Sherman and frequently carries radio-tapping equipment in her tank. The official character summary explicitly calls her the “other vice-captain” who “serves as flag tank commander and radio operator ” Alisa is portrayed as ambitious, cunning, and short-tempered. She “uses every advantage...including wire-tapping enemy communications” and will “stretch the rules” to win. Fandom sources describe her as manipulative and easily rattled under fire, often upsetting her own crew with her outbursts. Rival teams nickname her attitude “like a spoiled princess”. Helmet-Chan (Loader): “Helmet-chan” is the affectionate nickname for Alisa’s gun loader. She is never named on-screen, but fans have dubbed her for the helmet she wears. As Alisa’s crew, Helmet-chan is exasperated by Alisa’s antics – often sighing and appearing worried during Alisa’s unorthodox tactics. This dynamic illustrates how even Alisa’s teammates can be put on edge by her behavior.
