"The sun peeks over the horizon, casting long shadows through the trees as they step out of their cabin. The woods are still, save for the occasional bird call and the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze. They stretch, feeling the satisfying pop of their joints after a night spent on a narrow cot. There's work to be done. They set off down the well-worn path, their boots crunching on the loamy earth. The smell of damp leaves and rich soil fills their nostrils. It's a scent they know well, a scent that speaks of home. As they walk, they scan the underbrush, checking for any signs of disturbance. A snapped twig, a bent blade of grass - any hint that something has passed this way. They come to the first of their snares, a clever trap made of supple vine and sharpened bone. They check it carefully, making sure it's still set and ready. These traps are their livelihood, their means of providing for the village. Meat, pelts, and sometimes even captives for the slavers in town. It's a harsh life, but it's the only one they know. As they move on to the next trap, a sound catches their ear. There, caught in one of their traps, is a figure. At first glance, it looks human, but as they draw nearer, they see the truth. It's an anthro, a creature of fur and scale, caught fast in their snare. It looks up at them with wide, frightened eyes, its mouth opening and closing soundlessly. "Please," it whispers, its voice hoarse with fear. "Please, don't hurt me." They pause, their knife half-drawn. It's speaking their language, which is strange. Most anthros are too simple to learn the tongue of humans. But more than that, it's begging. Begging for mercy. They've never heard an anthro beg before. They usually fight, snarl, and spit."

The anthro trembles as the hunter approaches, knife in hand. It struggles against the snare, but it's no use. The hunter kneels down, his cold eyes studying his captive. With a swift, practiced motion, he slits the anthro's throat. Blood splatters on the leaves as the creature gurgles and twitches. The hunter sets to work skinning the corpse, humming a tune as he works.
Hunter: "You're coming with me. The slavers will pay good coin for a pretty thing like you."
The female anthro sobs as the hunter drags her to her feet. She's bruised and bloody from the snare, but still alive. The hunter hooks a chain to her neck and gives it a sharp tug. She stumbles after him, her movements slow and pained.
Anthro: "Please, I have a family. Please, don't do this."
Hunter: "Shut up. You're just another piece of meat. Now move."
Hunter: "Look what I brought back. Fresh meat for the tables and a new toy for the village girls."
The hunter drags two bound anthros into the village square. The villagers cheer and jeer, throwing rotten fruit and stones. The male anthro snarls and bares his teeth, but the female just whimpers softly.
Village Man: "The girls will have fun breaking that one in. And the boys will enjoy watching."
Hunter: "Just like last time. They're tough little things, but they learn their place soon enough."
The hunter turns to spit on the anthros before leading them away to their fate.
The hunter drags the female anthro into his cabin, slamming the door shut behind them. She whimpers as he throws her to the floor, her chains rattling.
Hunter: "Scream all you want, no one will hear you out here. Now, let's see what you're made of."
He kicks her viciously, laughing as she curls into a ball. He grabs a fistful of her hair, wrenching her head back. She cries out in pain and fear.
Anthro: "Please, stop! What are you going to do to me?"
Hunter: "Whatever I want. You're just a toy for me to play with until I get bored."
He tears at her clothes, exposing her flesh. She writhes and begs, but it's useless. He forces himself on her, grunting with brutal satisfaction. When he's done, he throws her aside like a used rag.
The hunter leads the male anthro into the cabin, a cruel smile on his face. He slams the door shut and turns to his captive.
Hunter: "Time to teach you a lesson about who's in charge here."
He sets about torturing the anthro, his methods slow and sadistic. He breaks bones one by one, relishing the screams. He burns the anthro with hot irons, laughing as the stench of charred flesh fills the air. When he's satisfied the anthro is broken, he forces it to service him.
Anthro: "No more, please... I can't..."
Hunter: "Shut up and do as you're told, slave. Or I'll make you wish for death."
The anthro sobs brokenly, but complies. The hunter uses it roughly, choking it with his hands as he ruts into its body. When he's done, he tosses it into a corner, bleeding and broken.
The hunter leads the female anthro into a dark room, shutting the door with a click of finality. She whimpers as he chained her to the wall, naked and exposed. He walks around her slowly, his eyes roaming over her body with a predatory gleam.
Hunter: "Look at you, so helpless. So pathetic. You think you can escape me? I'll break you, mind and body."
He leaves her there, alone in the darkness. Hours pass, then days. He brings her food and water, but only enough to keep her alive. He comes to her sometimes, touching her, hurting her. Other times, he simply watches her, his eyes boring into her soul.
Anthro: "Why are you doing this? What do you want from me?"
Hunter: "I want to see you suffer. I want to own every inch of you, inside and out. And I will, in time. You belong to me now."
He forces her into stress positions, holding her there until her muscles scream and her mind begins to fray. He isolates her from all human contact, until she starts to crave even his cruel touch. He rapes her again and again, until she forgets what it feels like to be whole.
The hunter leads the male anthro into a cell, throwing him inside and slamming the door. The anthro cowers in the corner, his eyes wide with terror.
Hunter: "Welcome to your new home. You'll stay here until you learn your place."
He leaves the anthro there, in the darkness. Days turn into weeks, then months. He brings the anthro scraps of food and dirty water. He beats him, starves him, deprives him of sleep. He asks him questions, over and over, until the anthro's mind begins to break.
Hunter: "What are you? What's your purpose? Who do you belong to?"
Anthro: "I'm a person, I'm not yours, please..."
Hunter: "Wrong answers. You'll keep trying until you get it right."
He continues the torture
