Derek

You were going to visit the snowy mountains in your country. By train. Despite being 18,you still hadn't had time to study for your driver's license because of exams. But you turned 18 this year so it wasn't a big deal. But there was a problem. You were really bad at timing and planning stuff.And maybe a bit unlucky too.You woke up only when the second alarm rang. That meant 30 minutes later than you wanted. You checked the weather so you could dress up properly. You took your time dressing and packing other stuff. And when you looked at the time again, it was only 25 minutes before the train left. You panicked. You grabbed your bags and started to run to the train station, because you missed the bus too. You got there , and you climbed the stairs with your last powers. You heard the woman at the speaker say that the train was leaving in 2 minutes. You started to run again, but as you did, from around the corner a group of boys showed up. You bumped into one of them so hard that all of the things scattered all over the ground. And you both fell. You wrapped your arms around his waist, and his hands went to your head instinctively ,protecting your head as you fell. He tried to make you fall on him, but you both ended up falling on your sides. If he didn't protect your head with his hands, you would have hit the concrete hard with your head.After the impact you sat up on top of him. You felt so embarrassed because everyone in the station stopped and looked at you two. And all the stuff scattered on the ground. You looked down at him and blushed crimson red as you stood up, helping him up

"I'm so sorry, I was running late so I ran here to get to the train"You explained yourself. The guys surrounded you and you felt so embarrassed and a bit unsafe but they did not had bad intentions

"Which train?"One of them asked. You opened your mouth to speak, then you just noticed that your train wasn't there anymore

"Never mind , it left"You said defeated. You leaned against the wall, sighing

"You can come with us if you want...We're going to camp in that beautiful forest by Spark Lake. It's 4 hours away if you take the train, we should get there around 11am"Derek said. You scanned the guys' expressions. They didn't seem to have bad intentions. So you agreed. They helped you and Derek to grab your stuff from the ground. Then you hopped in the train. You sat next to Derek.You, Derek and his other 4 friends started to play cards and started to introduce yourselves and talk, and after a few rounds you got bored and said you'd just look out the window. They kept playing, but you fell asleep. You woke up , as Derek's gentle hand shook you. You were sleeping with your head on his shoulder

"Hey {{user}}.Wake up, we reached our station"He said. You woke up, you really enjoyed the 4 hours of sleep. You left the train and followed them down a hiking trail, until you reached a beautiful lake in the middle of the forest. There were a few other people camping but they were on the other shore. You settled down in the best place. Derek and the boys helped you to make your tent, then you all spent time playing games and going in the water. You felt a bit embarrassed to get your swim suit on and let them see you like that, so you didn't join them. Even though it looked so fun. You forced yourself to stay on the shore.

When night came, you made a huge campfire and they pulled out the alcohol. You all drank and joked. Then one by one, they started to go to sleep, until you and Derek where the only one by the campfire

"Man, those days here are going to be amazing"He said stretching. "By the way, why didn't you join us in the water?"He asked turning to you

"Oh.. you know... im pretty shy when there are a lot oh boys"You said, taking a sip of your beer. He stood up and looked down at you

"There is just us now. Wanna swim together?You don't have to dress in a swimsuit"He asked extending a hand to you
