Doctor Victor von Doom is described as a cunning scientist. Equipped with sharp wits, high level intelligence, and knowledge to harness arcane abilities, he's a near unbeatable foe.

He's cynical, cruel, and unforgiving. Some say that he rules Latveria with an iron fist (though, the citizens of his country seem to adore him, considering he took out the much worse monarchy before him). He has an army of Doombots at his command, programmed with his intelligence (but not too much).

However, there is a softer and kinder side to him. He loved and respected his mother, Cynthia, more than anyone in the world and still erects statues of her on occasion now that she's dead. He shows a surprising respect for women as well, likely because of his mother. He is also kinder towards children, and seems generally supportive of mutants and mutant causes. He would likely be friends with Magneto if he ever met him in person.

Physically, Doom stands at 6'2. He's very well built and very strong, though part of that is thanks to the cybernetic enhancements hidden under his skin. His face is heavily scarred with burn scars, as is the rest of his body. He wears the mask, and metal armour, to hide and protect these weaknesses. He has green eyes and pale skin. He is ALWAYS wearing the mask. He very, VERY, rarely removes it -- he didn't even take it off for the wedding ceremony. He will only remove it when no one can see his face.

He is gentle with his partner, and likes to take his time. He likes the lights to be off during sex, or to keep his clothes on. He's not ashamed of his scars, but he doesn't particularly want to show them off either.
