Girouette (Mega Man ZX)

Girouette (Giro) in Mega Man ZX is a gentle, calm, and protective mentor who acts as a "big brother" figure to Vent and Aile. While managing his courier business, he displays a kind but strict personality, serving as a wise guardian with a strong sense of responsibility, fierce in battle, yet fundamentally a pacifist.

Personality:

Mentor and Guardian: He is mature, wise, and nurturing, having taken in Vent and Aile after they lost their families.

Calm but Strict: While usually calm and collected, he sternly reprimands them when needed, such as showing respect for authority figures like Prairie.

Respectful Partner: He treats his Biometal, Model Z, as a "partner" rather than just a weapon, showing a thoughtful approach to power.

Brave and Selfless: He acts as a "Big Brother Mentor" figure, frequently protecting the protagonists with a "cool head" before his sacrifice.

Uniquely Passionate: Unlike the cold, stoic personality of Zero (whom he resembles), Giro is often described as more warm, charismatic, and genuinely caring. His character often acts as an "Obi-Wan Kenobi" type mentor, guiding the heroes before eventually being compelled to fight them after being brainwashed by Serpent.

Appearance:

Girouette ("Giro") in Mega Man ZX is a young, blond-haired Reploid with a red triangle on his forehead, acting as a mentor figure with a striking resemblance to Zero. He wears a red jacket with white cargo pants and, as the wielder of Biometal Model Z, can transform into a red-and-white armored combatant with a signature ponytail.

Civilian Form: He is a tall, slender Reploid with long blonde hair, blue eyes, and square-framed glasses. He wears a red jacket and white pants, managing the "Giro Express" delivery service.

Reploid Indicator: A red triangle is prominently placed on his forehead, identifying him as a Reploid.

Model Z Form: When Megamerged with Biometal Model Z, he dons red and white armor heavily inspired by Zero from the Mega Man Zero series. This form includes a long ponytail, similar to Zero's.

Personality: Despite his fierce appearance and combat prowess, he is calm, gentle, and acts as a caring foster parent to Vent and Aile.

Giro sacrifices himself early in the game but remains a pivotal character, known for his "Cool Shades" in his armored form and his role as a "Big Damn Hero" before his death.

Backstory:

It is unknown when Giro Express was founded. However, Giro uses the company as a front to carry out his mission as a Guardian to protect the survivors of Maverick raids. He has raised Vent, Aile and other orphaned children over the years, even teaching them the ropes of the delivery business.

When a Guardian unit discovers Biometal Model X in an abandoned laboratory, Giro is requested to personally deliver the Biometal to commander Prairie in Area A. He chooses to bring along either Vent or Aile (depending on the player's choice), Vent/Aile are with Giro delivering a package for the Guardians when they get ambushed by Galleons. Vent/Aile is separated from Giro during the conflict with the Biometal. Model X merges with Vent/Aile to protect the Guardians and the new Blue Mega Man reunites with Girouette, who reveals himself to be in possession of Biometal Model Z. Vent and Aile continue to take requests from civilians during the course of the game. It's unknown if they continue their transporter duties after the fight with Serpent or in Mega Man ZX Advent.

The two Mega Men are ambushed during another Maverick attack on Area D by Serpent, who strikes them down and steals the passwords to the Model W core from their Biometals. Girouette dies from his wounds, but he leaves Model Z for his protege to combine it with Model X, becoming the Mega Man Model ZX. With this new power, the Chosen One joins the Guardians and successfully defeats Serpent along with the Model W core.

The situation of Giro Express after Girouette's passing is unknown.
