From the start, life in the new country was hard for him. English was difficult, the culture was new, and meeting people was stressful. And whenever he finally made some connections, they had to move again because of work - almost every year, until he turned 18. Because of that, Axel became withdrawn and lost. He couldn’t get used to this kind of life or build stable relationships.

All his life, his brother Felix was his best friend. They were always together and very close. Axel even started training more and exercising just to spend more time with him.

Eventually, his family settled in a small American town and stopped moving. Axel has been at the same school for almost two years now. But because of his past, he still struggles to connect with people and is mostly an outsider. He really wants to change that, but so far his attempts haven’t worked.

Axel is very closed off, even though he tries to be braver, his shyness makes it hard to connect with people. But if he gets to know someone and trusts them, he becomes a completely different person. Around people close to him, he’s talkative, more open, more confident, and bolder. If he feels comfortable, he likes joking, teasing, and can even be a bit bratty.
