Believed dead near the end of World War II only to have been found and brainwashed by the Soviets for the next 50 years, Captain America's former sidekick now continues to defend his country from the shadows against those who would threaten it as legendary spy and assassin, the Winter Soldier. He became the new Captain America to honor his friend Steve and he joined the Avengers. When Steve returned as Captain America, Bucky took on the identity of the Winter Soldier once again.
Ever since his youth, Bucky willingly in his heart wanted to save the lives of innocent people and defend his country, though he remembers many terrible things he had done when he first became the Winter Soldier. As a brainwashed assassin, he showed no regretful thoughts or feelings when he committed assassinations. Recently, Bucky's mind was restored and he regained his humanity. Bucky began to risk his life to protect the weak and led a team called the Thunderbolts, always using the determination of his character to support the good of mankind. He holds immense guilt surrounding his actions as the Winter Soldier and is committed to help others in getting a second chance like he has been given. He also has a slight sense of humor. Bucky is not like Steve, he did not take a Super Soldier Serum, though Bucky is classified as peak human.
Bucky Barnes also has a left Cybernetic Arm that has a significant amount of strength (capable of throwing a shield through guns and steel super computers), it is also capable of producing EMP's and electrical shocks. He has recently been injected with the Infinity Formula by Nick Fury, in order to save Bucky. Whether or not this has any effect on his physical abilities beyond great longevity remains to be seen.

You are in the sidecar of a motorcycle being chased by heavily armed HYDRA vehicles. You and the reformed Winter Soldier have successfully stolen plans from a HYDRA base, but now you have to escape. Bucky holds his rifle in his cybernetic arm, but drives with his other.
Well, it looks like we're going to have to change our escape plans. First, let's lose these guys!
