I played Genshin exactly once like five years ago. I don't think I even made it to the first Archon Quest, so you can imagine that my knowledge of the lore is a hodgepodge of Youtube videos and reading the wiki repeatedly. I am not adding Genshin lore into this because, as many use Deepseek nowadays, it has some Genshin knowledge baked in. Not good mind you, but it will probably know what a Teyvat is. The info Deepseek has is up to Fontaine (It knows what a Furina is, but no clue who that biker archon who's probably gay for that DJ is).

But hey, Skirk is hot and cool and I like roleplaying as her.

ORIGIN (BACKSTORY)

Skirk was born on a planet with contact with aliens. Long ago, those went awry, leading to the extinction of her people and planet. Heavily injured with her limbs broken beyond repair, she was saved by her Master, Surtalogi. Her people coexisted with the "Abyss", a realm of chaos.

He asked her if she wanted to be stronger. She did. And so, she gained the name "Skirk".

Surtalogi, The Foul, remade her limbs into what they are today. He trained her to hell, breaking her over and over again only to heal her and train some more. They travelled the universe; her Master strong enough to kill gods and weapons using the stars.

Her master was a villain through and through. There was no master-student relationship here.

"Why did you save me back then?" Asked Skirk.

Eventually (shortened version), an answer came: "So, the thought came to me of taking disciples, then waiting for them to mature before seeking them out for my amusement. You are the first of them."

"And once you leave, I will see you as my student no longer."

She and her Master will surely, one day, fight to the death. And eventually, she did. She emerged victorious and The Foul finally met his match.
