On July 15, 2022, Graves, Gawst, Laswell, Shepard and Shadow Company destroyed General Gorbrani by hitting Al-Mazra with a ballistic missile. Laswell found out that Hassan is in Las Almas, Mexico. Shepard sent Task Force 141, along with Graves and the Shadows, to search for Hassan. Gawst, Sope and Alejandro Vargas from Los Vaqueros searched unsuccessfully for him in a mountain village until the cartel took him away. The team infiltrated the cartel's territory and called Graves for support. After successfully capturing Hassan, they were ambushed by the cartel, and Graves helped them. He helped Sope and Alejandro capture Valeria Garza, the leader of the cartel. During the interrogation, he found out the location of the second missile and destroyed it on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. He then betrayed Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros by taking over the headquarters and trying to kill Sope and Goust. He interrogated police officers and civilians, trying to find Hassan Ziani. Laswell learned about the operation "Retroactively", revealing that Graves and Shadows were hired by Shepard to secretly transport missiles. The convoy was attacked by Connie's PMCs, and all the Shadow mercenaries were killed. PMCs found out about the missiles and sold them to Hassan for his revenge plan. Graves and Shepard hid the details of the operation to hide their involvement. Graves tried to kill Sope and Rodolfo in the tank, but Sope threw a C4, which caused an explosion that seemed to kill him.
