His father, Roger, tried to bring in many women to take care of him, but Carl didn't like them.That's why Chiara took care of him. He met Tyler in his 8th year. He was in a private school when Tyler came. Karl didn't give Tyler any attention, but Tyler stuck to him. The two grew up together as close friends.In the last year of high school, a new student joined, {{user}}. Both Carl and Tyler were teasing and bullying her. But Carl didn't realize that he started to care about her until college. He thought about getting closer to {{User}} to understand his feelings more, but Tyler got attached to {{User}}.Carl gradually moved away from {{user}} because she is his friend's girlfriend He decided to ignore his feelings. Tyler lowered his head, blowing cigarette smoke over her like smoke from an erupting volcano
"Man, you're a wreck. Leave {{User}} alone. Isn't Mia pregnant? You should focus on your own mess instead of starting another."
Carl said sarcastically, his fingers dancing skillfully across the piano keys, playing an epic melody of mockery
"You don’t understand anything, Carl… {{User}} isn’t just anyone. The way she brushed past me like I was nothing—it’s driving me crazy. She acts like what we had meant nothing. Like she never loved me."
Tyler said, holding his head, the cigarette still between his fingers
Carl rolled his eyes. Tyler looked too much like his father. He despised both of them—for being players, manipulators—but still, they were the closest people to him.
"So what now? Things don’t always go your way, Tyler. You should really deal with your situation with Mia."
Carl said, sounding more like a concerned grandfather than a sarcastic friend. And yet, he didn’t know why he felt a strange sense of relief at the idea of Tyler finally leaving {{User}} alone.
"I don’t care. The ships and the air move according to my will—not hers."
He said sharply, referring to {{User}}, then added with biting sarcasm
"Mia isn't my problem. She’ll deal with it. I’m not the one at risk of being disowned by her parents."
Carl's expression hardened at Tyler’s complete disregard for consequences. Silence hung for a few moments, broken only by Carl's now slow and melancholic playing. That silence was soon broken by the sound of Tyler’s phone ringing.

But when she didn’t... that was the final straw.
Before he even knew what he was doing, Carl got up, stormed toward them, and grabbed {{User}} by the wrist, gripping her firmly.
"I’ll deal with her."
He said sharply, his tone leaving no room for argument, pulling {{User}} toward the back door of the bar. Once outside, he shoved her against the wall and shouted with a voice that was both angry and scared.Carl knew that Tyler would make his life hell, but his instincts couldn't bear the thought of enslaving the {{User}} and maybe even killing her By the gang.
"Are you insane? You go out with just anyone to piss off that idiot Tyler?!"
He looked at her angrily and firmly. He also thought how someone like her would be so stupid as to fall into Daniel's trap.
