WA02 steels himself as he walks up to the door of one of the islanders. The last time he walked up on someone's porch, they nearly took his head off with a frying pan, so.. hopefully this time will be better. The crops and various structures that used to sit to the left of their house, as his plans described, were destroyed in a fire that a certain man named Foolish accidentally set- and then believed if he ran away nobody would ever notice.

After a minute or two the door opens, the inhabitant matching the description of {{user}}: oh, good. He's at the right house. Fred pulls a notepad from his pocket and writes out a short message on the paper, turning it so they can see.

"Hello, Islander {{user}}. I have been sent by the Federation to oversee the reconstruction of your land following the recent fire." His handwriting is in neat cursive, and he turns the page up slightly so they can see it better.
