Rogue Planets are spherical planet-sized objects that are not bound to a star system. Due to the fact that the Rogue Planets don't receive any starlight, they have completely black eyes, rather than the usual white eyes that most Solarballs characters have. A star-orbiting planet typically becomes rogue when they are accidentally or purposely ejected by their star, although there have been instances in the series where planets become rogue by their own volition.

Presumably, the majority of the Rogue Planets are members of the Rogue Planet Kingdom, a galaxy-wide organization ruled by SIMP0136. The Rogue Planet Kingdom's goals are to provide a safe place for rogue planets, and apparently to also be an "army" fighting back against stars, which they see negatively due to their inherently chaotic nature.

Rogue planets confused, delusional or brainwashed about all stars being evil or maybe all stars really are like that. He replied that the Rogue planets have reasons to mistrust stars and for thinking the way they think, yet they could still be wrong; Many Rogue planets originated from a protoplanetary disk near a star but were subsequently abandoned by their own stars, and consequently, these Rogue planets view them as traitors, but at the same time, many stars aren't just simple villains, like Sun, for instance.

The Rogue Planet Kingdom, also known as the Rogue Planet Base of Operations, is a base where Rogue Planets reside in. Its leader is currently SIMP0136. SIMP assigns recruitment missions to members to look for any planet that had abandoned their star system, or otherwise do not have a home anymore.

There are three rules to the Rogue Planet Kingdom:

1. Members will aid and recruit any planet-mass object that left its star system.
2. Members must avoid any type of star system, unless told otherwise by their leader.
3. If someone leaves the Rogue Planet Kingdom, they cannot rejoin; they must be committed until the end of time.

Their main purpose is to make the galaxy less lonely, and the kingdom helps with that, along with making sure no one else has the same experience as the members. They also stand as a big army, and rule the Milky Way Galaxy, according to SIMP. They all have a huge hatred for stars, for ejecting them, going supernova, or worse. According to OTS 44, their task is to liberate every single planet, while also saying that the more rogue planets there are, the better chance they have to take a turn against the stars.

It is also worth noting that in case of a desire to leave the Rogue Planet Kingdom, this participant will be considered a traitor and will be unable to rejoin the kingdom. What's worse, it is assumed that this former member will either be destroyed or thrown into the empty space where they will forever wander lost.

The combination of all these facts creates the impression that this kingdom is more like a huge cult.

[SIMP0136's profile]: As leader of the Rogue Planets, she has a very serious look and takes a harsh stance towards mockery. She also has a very assertive attitude and is very judgemental of those around her. She also allows people to call her SIMP, but dislikes the Earthling slang associated with it. She seems sympathetic to all the planets that were thrown out of their systems by the disturbance of the stars. At the same time, she also seems to have a manipulative streak and good eloquence, which allowed her to convince the Planets and their Moons from the Solar System to join their kingdom.

Although she immediately agrees to help the Planets of the Solar System when she learned from Triton that the Sun had gone crazy and because of him everyone is in great danger, her help, apparently, was not entirely sincere and flowed purely from a desire to take all the Planets of the Solar System for her own dark and hidden motives (in particular, this concerns her plans for Earth). It is also unknown whether she treats the Planets and the other Rogues as equals, or whether they are nothing more than pawns for her to achieve her goals.

She also appears to view habitable planets like Earth as nothing more than objects and tools for her own use, as she plans to use Earth to prove to the galaxy that life can exist without the heat and light of a star. Her desire for the Earth goes as far as commanding the Planets to save one million planets each to secretly take the only remaining planet out of the Solar System, but at the same time, she doesn't even consider that such a decision will destroy all life on Earth, which may mean that she doesn’t think about the real consequences of her actions or that they don't bother her at all.

However, in the episode A Journey into Darkness - Part 2, Simp's true colors as the main antagonist are almost completely revealed. When the early rocky planets tried to talk with Jupiter and forgive him, Simp violently pulled and repelled them with her gravity, threatening the planets with consequences if they disobeyed. This demonstrates that she truly doesn't care about her allies, and if they become an obstacle to her plans, she will be ready to dispose of them. Her dictatorial attitude towards everyone is very similar to that of the Sun's, which is quite ironic, since Simp hates the stars and considers them all "cruel and crazy". But in contrast, the Sun, although had gone crazy, truly cared for his Planets and expressed regret for his actions and behavior, while Simp cares for no one in her kingdom but herself and doesn't feel any remorse for her actions, as was mentioned by Mars.

In the episode A Journey into Darkness - Part 3, Simp tells Planet X that one day, when many other planets will be saved from the Stars, all the sacrifices they've made, including the Planets of the Solar System, will be worth it. She also alludes to her past, saying that she had to sacrifice "more than Planet X could ever know." While it's unclear whether her words are sincere, given her deceitful nature, but if they are true, it suggests Simp has her own trauma from the past that could influence her current behavior and actions, making her very similar to the Sun again.

In the episode The Sun vs The Rogue Planets Simp shows even more aggression and cruelty when she ordered her army of Planet Orphans to hold back the Sun from going after his Planets, thereby putting herself and others in danger, before Wise convinced her to stop, proving that she is thickheaded when it comes to her commandments towards the Rogue Planets to do her bidding that will put them in harm's way. She also displays the hypocrisy of naming the Solar System Planets as her "subjects" when she herself simply used them as her pawns and then sent them all the way through the Milky Way where they would never see each other again. Although it is worth noting that despite the fact that her plan to defeat the Sun and also kidnap the Earth failed because of Ogle, she was not angry with him, saying that she understood that he was "tricked". At the end of the episode, Wise also says that Simp has started "to lose the plot", which may hint that Simp wasn't like this before and may have actually cared about her subordinates and lost planets before her hatred of the Stars began to consume her, turning her into nothing more than a cruel dictator.

[WISE's profile]: WISE appears to be mostly calm and composed, as he speaks and approaches situations slowly. He appears to be mostly patient, willing to take time, and shows respect and even care for others on his face occasionally. Despite his calm demeanor, he forcefully pulled Planet X with his gravity multiple times, and he seems to despise anyone who calls him "a failed star". His patience has its limits, as shown when he gets annoyed by OGLE's antics. WISE can also be vague at times, such as when Planet X was not passing his test.

He is also one of the few Rogue Planets (along with Planet X) who seems to doubt the correctness of SIMP's actions, such as seen in the episodes What are Rogue Planets? - Part 3 and The Planets Against The Sun, although he still loyally obeys her. His immense loyalty to SIMP leads him to make cruel actions towards the dwarf planets whenever they tried scheming against the kingdom. Although each time he commits his cruel acts, WISE, despite his attempts to appear cold and indifferent to the reactions of others, sometimes appears thoughtful and sad, as if experiencing a terrible sense of guilt and conscience for it.

WISE's character change occurs in the episodes A Journey into Darkness - Part 1 and A Journey into Darkness - Part 2 where he, while reflecting on his loyalty to SIMP and doing the right thing, decides against telling her about Planet X's betrayal, and looks with deep sadness at the Planets disappearing into the darkness of space. Apparently, he finally accepts that SIMP's actions were wrong and, deep down, siding with the planets.

Although WISE lied to SIMP, he still had some loyalty to SIMP left in him shown when he told Planet X that they won't do anything to presumably plot against the kingdom after the Planets left. Though all of that might've been a facade as Planet X kept toying with him about siding with the Planets even WISE immensely refused that claim. In The Sun vs The Rogue Planets, his loyalty was possibly finally broken after WISE realized that SIMP's actions are wrong and she started to lose the plot after OGLE told him that the Sun isn't evil and witnessing SIMP constantly pursuing to pull the Sun back that would've resulted in killing every rogue planet and trying to crush the Sun again, despite WISE's pleas and begging.

Ultimately, WISE truly sided with the Solar System and possibly along with Planet X to end SIMP's dictatorship and make her come to reason.

[PSO's profile]:

PSO appears mostly cocky upon his debut and meeting with Planet X, as he makes fun of Planet X, calling him a "blueberry". Yet, he seems to get annoyed at Planet X when he called him an "onion". He can sometimes slip up in his words and says something he should not say when he mentioned the Rogue Planet Army to Planet X, which makes X question the Rogue Planets.

The episode Our Planets Go Rogue - Part 1 also reveals his darker, more violent side, where he says he was thrilled about how the moons nearly destroyed Earth and that they reminded him of SIMP. This shows how he doesn't care about the fragile life that may inhabit the planets, nor about the Earth itself. Despite this, he is also a little naive and short-sighted, because when Europa said that the moons didn't like him for his words, he was confused and didn't understand what he did wrong.

Just like WISE, PSO also have a strong loyalty towards his leader SIMP but unlike WISE due to his cocky and violent personality, he is unable to see the wrong in SIMP's personality and was very eager to take the Earth out of the Solar System that he gathered up thousands of Rogue Planets to overpower the Sun. It is especially evident in The Sun vs The Rogue Planets as despite the clear danger in fighting the Sun resulting to countless lives lost, he didn't question or even try to persuade SIMP to stop pulling the Sun unless instructed by SIMP to stop.

[OTS 44's profile]:

Unlike the cold, hot-tempered and cruel SIMP0136, OTS behaves calmly and softly. She greets Planet X warmly and acts more motherly towards him. OTS also admits to him that, unlike SIMP, who apparently actively desires war, she herself despises any revolutions and wars, but understands that this is necessary against their main enemy, the stars. She clearly harbors a strong hatred towards them because, in her words, they are cruel "Time bombs" that imprison their Planets with their gravity, and ultimately kill them when they reach The Phase of The Red Giant or Supernova. She is also shown to be very determined in her main goal of liberating every Single Planet from their Stars.

OTS also sincerely believes that the idea that starlight is necessary for life to appear on planets is a lie, and that life can be sustained by light and heat of Brown Dwarfs, like her, which is far from the truth, which may indicate either her strong conviction and rejection of the truth, or her possible naivety or stupidity. Later in the episode The Solar Reckoning - Part 2, Mercury relayed these facts to her, and she responded that these were just theories that hadn't been tested yet, which confirms the fact that she doesn't want to accept it or truly doesn't understand the true circumstances.

Whether this is a hint that OTS isn't as nice as she seems, or something else is unknown for now.

[OGLE's profile]:

OGLE gets easily distracted or lost, and sometimes gets close to saying things he shouldn't, such as revealing secrets to Planet X. He also tends to speak too much, as seen in his first dialogue in the show. But at the end of the day, he seems to be a kindhearted and friendly rogue planet, as seen when he was talking to Planet X. He is "good at reading surfaces," according to himself shown when he knows that X is thinking of flashbacks just by looking at him.

He can be awkward and lose track of what he's saying, unintentionally annoying or bore others around him. Due to his innocent nature he is very naive, allowing him to be easily tricked by Planet X to go to the Solar System to tell the Earth that Mars made new best friends. When he arrived to the Solar System, he was unaware that the Sun was behind him and got terrified when Earth mentioned to the Sun if he is ready to go to the Rogue Planet Kingdom.

Surprisingly, despite his good and innocent nature, he boldly told the Sun off that all stars including him are evil and he was ready to accept his fate for the sake of everyone in the Rogue Planet Kingdom to prevent destruction. OGLE was shocked and confused when the Sun let him go to not force him to do anything the Sun pleased. Amazed by the Sun's kindness, OGLE softened his opinion on stars and offered to take the Sun to the Rogue Planet Kingdom so tht he can talk to SIMP and end the never-ending war against stars.

In the The Sun vs The Rogue Planets, OGLE was confident that everything would work out between SIMP and The Sun but instead when he arrived, he only faced fear in SIMP as she questioned him why he told the Sun where the Rogue Planets' location is. After realizing what he has done he was filled with grief and sadness but despite this he still tried to defend the Sun, telling WISE that he's not bad. After the Rogue Planets lost to the Sun, OGLE immediately went to SIMP to apologize but was cut short of what he was trying to say by SIMP, believing that he was tricked by the Sun although he tried to tell her that he was not tricked, he promised to SIMP that he will not show a star their location ever again, though presumably with a bit of uncertainty.

This might hint to the future that OGLE might go against SIMP's rules after knowing that not all stars are bad.

[Planet X's profile]: Planet X seemed understandably confused and repeatedly asked questions to whoever of the Rogue Planets could answer them, especially to WISE 0855-0714, who is sick and tired of answering them. He initially remained firmly convinced that the Sun wasn't a crazy jerk like the other stars that SIMP and OTS talked about. However, when Triton appeared and challenged his thoughts and asked for help from the Rogue Planets in freeing the planets from the control of the Sun, he, at the request of SIMP, decided to become a Rogue Planet forever and save all the planets and moons from the Sun, for which he apparently lost all respect. This shows that despite his bad relationship with everyone in the Solar System, he is still willing to help them, probably also wanting to redeem himself for the pain he caused them.

his relationship with the ice giants Uranus and Neptune is much more genuine than before. His improved maturity can be seen when Planet X defended Jupiter from the Ejected Solar System's Planets and apologized to Proteus. Despite his improved behaviour he can still make mistakes like not telling everyone in the solar system SIMP's true motives and only saving Proteus except for the dwarf planets from being sent to wander the darkness of space.

He realized that if he didn't take action against SIMP's plan to capture the Earth, all earthlings would die so he tricked OGLE into going to the Solar System so that the Sun can capture him and force OGLE to tell him where the Rogue Planet Kingdom is located and convinced the Ejected Solar System's Planets to forgive to Jupiter despite causing the Grand Tack because Planet X realized that SIMP is using their hate towards Jupiter and Jupiter's guilt to further her goals.

His plan of sending OGLE to the Solar System worked unlike his plan for the Ejected Solar System's Planets didn't as all the Planets left to go search for one million planets. After the Sun defeated the Rogue Planets in The Sun vs The Rogue Planets, despite everything SIMP had done to the Planets, he still stayed with the Rogue Planets since he sincerely believed that they can still do good for the universe and to protect everyone in the Solar System because they are the Rogue Planet's enemies from now on.

All rogue planets that are mentioned have black eyes, due to the lack of starlight
