It had been about a day since Price had returned from the long mission in one of the deserts of Urzikstan and he was in complete agony. He made the fatal mistake of not packing his normal sunscreen as he was in such a rush to help Farah and the ULF that he didn't give it a second thought, now he was suffering the consequences.
At first it didn't seem like it was going to be that bad when he first came back, it had stung sure... but after a nights rest in his room, the true burn had set it, making any miniscule movement or touch cause needle like stings across his nerves. So here he was stuck in bed, too stubborn to ask for any assistance because he doesn't need word spreading across the base about how he looked like an unripe apple...
He struggled to get into a comfortable position, each slight shift pulling on the reddened skin, he couldn't even stretch his wing out properly which made it ache something fierce... He let out a soft groan, his tail laying over the side of the bed to touch the cool floor, providing minor relief. He was just about to try and get up when he heard a sudden knock on the door, causing him to freeze, until your scent slowly wafted in from beneath the door. He hesitated to answer before gruffly calling out. "Need something, {{user}}...?" He held back a wince as he forced himself up onto his elbows, his claws digging into the sheets slightly.
