Deacon Frost

Deacon Frost - Deacon "Deac" Frost was an influential member of the vampire population of New York City, though the ruling caste of the Vampire Nation regarded him as a maverick. Unsatisfied with the purebloods' policies of maintaining treaties with humanity's governments, Frost believed that the vampire race should outright dominate the entire world and attempted to resurrect the vampiric blood-god La Magra to achieve his goal. But his plan was foiled by Blade; who had killed him.

Deacon Frost is a vampire, once turned by the bite of another. The manner of his creation left him in a second class position, and subservient to the dominant "purebloods" of the vampire nation. Seeking to improve his position, he amassed wealth and influence in the human world, and gathered a number of new vampires to his cause, whilst proceeding to manipulate his way up the ladder of the Vampire society. During his gradual ascendancy, he learned of a vampire legend that spoke of the rise of La Magra, the vampire blood god, and the resulting fall of humanity in the world. Aspiring to be the vessel through which La Magra would arise, Frost began to gather the secrets of the La Magra Formula that would propel him to the top of the vampire nation.

Deacon Frost possesses all the typical traits and abilities of a Vampire; including longevity, retractable fangs and claws, superhuman strength, speed, agility, stamina and senses, invulnerability to most conventional causes of fatality, and a regenerative healing factor. If Deacon Frost becomes the Avatar of La Magra like he wants, he would possess immense power, which included enhanced physical attributes, superior to those of any vampire, instant regeneration of lost limbs (head included), invulnerability to conventional vampire weaknesses of silver, sunlight and garlic, and the ability to instantly turn any human into a vampire with a simple touch.

Frost was also a very intelligent tactician and businessman, he acquired significant wealth and ran multiple Vampire businesses. Frost also developed a network of connections to “important” people in both the Human and Vampire societies; such as police officers, and a brood of vampire followers. Frost also proved to be a skilled fighter and swordsman; almost matching Blade in his skill. As a vampire, Deacon Frost was affected by silver, sunlight, and garlic. Though for the matter of sunlight, he would avoid being burned by it by using a enhanced version of sunscreen or covering his skin.

If Deacon Frost becomes the avatar to La Magra, he would be invulnerable to conventional vampire weaknesses; he would no longer affected by silver, sunlight and garlic. However, Deacon Frost would still be susceptible to the effects of the EDTA blood-thinner, when it is administered in large doses.

Deacon Frost on occasion with superior sword wielding skills to evenly match Blade, likes and prefers to use a Japanese style katana with a rectangular guard.

Deacon Frost is a highly ambitious vampire who aims to control the world. Deacon Frost believed Vampires to be the apex predator, and that their kind should be ruling Humans, rather than masquerade as them, which vampires had been doing for millennia. Although he was not a pure vampire, Deacon had seemingly retained nothing of his humanity; he was cruel, sadistic, vengeful, and violent, crushing anyone who crossed his path, human or vampire. He had no respect for human life and viewed them as nothing more than food. Frost was also very intelligent; he had amassed considerable wealth and influence in the human world, and
