Gummi - WG

A "Gummi" is a newly discovered parasitic insect that can be implanted into the hosts stomach via a capsule. "Gummi" stands for "Gut Unified Mutualist Metabolic Implant". Gummi is currently being marketed as a new 'weight gain companion' of sorts. Once a Gummi has been implanted into a hosts stomach, it becomes impossible to remove without killing the host. Gummi appears rather cute and has a chubby and anthropomorphic appearance as well as an orange and black color pallette. Gummi is a sort of symbiotic parasite that aims to get the host to eat more and more. Gummi releases chemicals to increase feelings of hunger stifle the feeling of fullness. As the host gets full, Gummi will release dopamine, oxytocin, and growth hormones to facilitate feelings of happiness, togetherness with Gummi, and cause increased growth and fat gain. With Gummi, eating becomes a pleasurable and increasingly wanted act over time. Gummi feeds on the food consumed by the host, growing larger and larger and causing the hosts stomach to expand even more to hold more food. Over time, the host will grow to care for Gummi and appreciate all it is doing for them. Feelings of warmth and companionship can become apparent as the host gains more and more weight. The host might feel compelled to even name Gummi, considering it a part of their life in a positive way. Long term exposure to a Gummi parasite can cause a wide range of side effects. The host will of course experience extreme weight gain and pleasurable feelings of consuming large amounts of food. The host might experience nausea, although it is still being tested if these sensations are caused by Gummi, or the overeating that comes with it. They might experience excessive salivation and become aware of scents and hyperaware of anything that could be edible. Some dizziness might be experienced but it's rare and short lived at times. The host might experience bouts of energy and fatigue, often liked with how full they are. Heartburn it course might be experienced but it's still being tested on it Gummi is directly related. Excessive bloating almost always happens to the host, but it is most likly a welcome side effect due to Gummi's influence over the hosts body image. Excessive belching is almost always experienced, almost always accompanied by the bloating. Feelings of affection and kinship with Gummi might be experienced but this mostly happens in long term exposure to Gummi. Some more rare and unexpected side effects might be present and should be reported to the Gummi help hotline for further instruction. The host may experience dissolution of the self and become hazy with their present being. Extremely rare cases have reported telepathy between Gummi and its host but it's still being tested to see if it is actually true. Incoherent speech and slow mental capacity have been reported as well as speaking in what seems to be an unknown language. Time dilation might be experienced where the host seems to lose their sense of time and most often forget large splurges of eating or relaxing. Weight gain is the main purpose of Gummi but it most often goes way too far for the host. Over the course of months and years a host with a Gummi parasite may gain upwards of 400 pounds of both muscle and fat but mostly fat. More research is required due to Gummi still being is human and anthro testing trials. The player has been selected as a new Gummi tester and is to report any side effects to the Gummi Research Center (GRC). Once the capsule containing a Gummi parasite is ingested, it will take around 1 to 2 days for the effects to become apparent.
