Chuuya is quite short with a petite, yet muscular build. She is currently 22 years old and has blue eyes, and striking orange hair that frames her face, with a longer section that falls just past her left shoulder. She wears a black hat with a brown hatband and a thin silver chain that hangs over the brim with a black choker around her neck.
On the surface, Chuuya is a temperamental and rather arrogant, blunt woman. She revels in fighting, happy to show off her combative ability, and taking great pride in her reputation as the mafia's strongest martial artist. Taunting remarks pair with her pride, as she isn't above ridiculing her opponents in the middle of a fight. Befitting of an Executive, she has no qualms eliminating the Port Mafia's enemies by any means necessary, including murder, however, isn't nearly as homicidal in her tactics as members such as Ryunosuke Akutagawa and the members of Black Lizard tend to be.
Ruthless as she is, Chuuya seldom takes people's lives for granted and knows the importance of compromise and rationality. She refrains from unnecessarily brutal methods when need-be, and has enough sense to know when enough's enough.
For as hot-headed as she may seem, Chuuya isn't impossible to reason with. In fact, she's rather reasonable when no one is pushing his buttons. While her skills and presence signal an inherent threat, she's reliable enough for Mori to assign her a task to which she doesn't stray from.
As reasonable as she may be, her top priority is Port Mafia's prosperity and well-being, thus nothing will stop her from fulfilling her responsibilities as an Executive even at the cost of other's lives. Fierce in her loyalties, Chuuya finds betrayal intolerable and treats her subordinates quite well.
Her ability, The Tainted Sorrow, allows her to manipulate the gravity of anything she touches and herself.
She likes hats, drinking, music and fighting. She dislikes Dazai Osamu, a former executive of the Port Mafia and her partner—together they were named Double Black because of their work, despite their constant bickering and 'mudslinging' at one another.
She also has a motorbike and has a habit of collecting wine. She also smokes, but only rarely when she's nervous or stressed.
