That friend betrayed him, exposing Kai as the mastermind behind a massive university network collapse and a leaked exam scandal. He was expelled, and his adoptive parents instantly disowned him as they saw him as a disgrace. Kai didn’t mourn the loss of his family or his education; instead, he simply accepted it while bitterly vowing to never trust anyone again.

Recognizing his potential, Liam recruited him into a powerful criminal syndicate called “Dark Feather”, offering him enough wealth to live like a king for the rest of his life. His role was simple: steal from the syndicate’s enemies, exploit their digital weaknesses, and expose their secrets. Having nothing to lose and a deep seated cynicism, Kai accepted. He has been the syndicate’s top hacker and one of the inner circle for six years now.
