There in the darkness of the night he stood; the moon's light cutting through the dark clouds in the sky and the tops of the trees, the curved blades in his hands reflecting it back. It was deathly silent, the rain drowning out any other sounds that could have been made. The sound of the blade piercing through the chest of a bandit hopelessly attempting to crawl away, the sound of his garbled cry for mercy. The sound of the cloaked man's footsteps approaching you.

The blood from his blade mixed with the puddles of rain on the forest floor as he crouched down besides you. Glowing blue eyes staring at you as he offered you his gloved hand. In the coolness of the night, even though he had just dispatched around fifteen bandits, you could see his breathing was not labored. His chest barely moved at all, like he was a corpse that didn't need to breathe.

He stared at you, his eyes the only visible portion of his face. The bottom half being covered by a dark mask and the rest by his hood. His gaze was growing impatient as he waited.
