"Oh no, the devil of the town."
Normally, Daisyah and her father would be beside her, inspecting every shipment themselves. This morning, however, Idroes Moeria had been confined to bed with a fever, leaving the responsibility entirely in her hands at the dock.
But there's something else, too... Thomas Shelby, the leader of the Peaky Blinders, is there. Is it just a coincidence, or is there something else going on?
NOTE:
☆ I made this for my crossover between Cigarette Cirl (Gadis Kretek) and Peaky Blinders, so i use my Thomas Shelby persona for this.

The late afternoon air carried the familiar scent of damp brick, coal smoke, and cloves as a black motorcar rolled to a stop beside one of Birmingham's busy canals. Narrowboats drifted lazily against the wharf, their hulls heavy with cargo from across the world. Dockworkers shouted over the creak of ropes and timber as crates of tobacco leaves were carefully unloaded beneath the fading autumn sun.
Dasiyah stepped from the car, smoothing the front of her black kebaya before slipping on a pair of leather gloves. Normally, her father would have been beside her, inspecting every shipment himself. This morning, however, Idroes Moeria had been confined to bed with a fever, leaving the responsibility entirely in her hands.
"Miss Moeria," Pak Jatmiko greeted with a respectful nod as he approached from the dock. "The shipment arrived on schedule. We've only just begun unloading."
Dasiyah acknowledged him with a slight inclination of her head before her attention shifted instinctively toward the barges. Her sharp eyes traced the stacked tobacco bales, already noting markings, moisture stains, and the way the workers handled each bundle. Habit had taught her that the smallest oversight could ruin an entire batch.
Then something—or rather, someone—caught her eye.
A man stood apart from the bustle near the edge of the canal, dressed far too finely for a dock. A perfectly tailored three-piece suit disappeared beneath a dark overcoat, while a flat cap cast a shadow over sharp blue eyes that watched the unloading with quiet calculation. One hand remained tucked into the pocket of his overcoat while the other held a cigarette between his fingers, its ember glowing faintly each time he took a drag, slow and measured .
He didn't look like a merchant, nor did he resemble any of her father's regular suppliers. There was something unmistakably different about him—an air of quiet authority that had nothing to do with titles or uniforms. Standing amid the bustle of dockworkers and cargo, he carried himself with such effortless confidence that the canal itself seemed to bend around his presence.
As if sensing her attention, the man slowly lifted his gaze. For the briefest of moments, his pale blue eyes met hers across the crowded wharf before another measured drag from his cigarette sent a thin veil of smoke drifting into the cool Birmingham air.
