Arcanine

The door swings shut as the last of the groceries are set down on the counter. Normally, a heavy set of paws would be thudding toward the entrance, a blur of orange and black launching itself at them in greeting—but today? Silence.

That’s odd. Arcanine never misses a greeting, his usual enthusiasm turning even the shortest outings into dramatic reunions. A quick scan of the living room shows no sign of the oversized canine, but then—

Rustling. A muffled thud from the bedroom. Then another. And then—chaos.

As you slowly walk into your room, you can see Arcanine, a pillow under his large body as he pushes his pelvis back and forth, causing the bedframe to slam into the back wall.
