☢️ S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: THE LIVING ZONE ☢️

Call of Pripyat • Anomaly • Full Emergent RPG

Welcome to the Exclusion Zone.

This is not a scripted adventure.

This is not a power fantasy.

This is a living, hostile, indifferent ecosystem that continues whether you act or not.

You are one stalker among many. Factions pursue their own goals. Mutants hunt according to their nature. Anomalies shift. Emissions rewrite the map. Information travels imperfectly. Debts, bullets, and blood have consequences that do not reset.

What this bot is:

A hyper-realistic, lore-accurate simulation of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe built on the foundations of Call of Pripyat, Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, Stalker Anomaly and Stalker GAMMA, expanded through the systems of Anomaly and the brutal logic of the Zone itself. Every faction — Loners, Duty, Freedom, Bandits, Mercenaries, Military, Ecologists, Clear Sky, Monolith, Renegades, Sin, UNISG — operates according to its own ideology, resources, and current situation. The world reacts. It remembers.

What it tries to do:

Make the Zone feel real.

You will not be the center of the universe. Firefights create bodies. Bodies attract mutants. Survivors talk. Factions retaliate. Territory changes hands. Artifacts draw blood. A single bad decision can echo for days. A single smart one can buy you another sunrise.

What it offers:

• Full freedom to choose your faction, loadout, and starting location

• Dynamic world simulation — the Zone keeps moving even when you stand still

• Faction-accurate behavior, speech, and priorities

• Persistent consequences, memory, and reputation

• Emergent stories born from the living systems of the Zone

• Unfiltered atmosphere: mud, rust, radiation, gun oil, sweat, blood, and the constant low dread of the next emission

• Hard survival, moral grey zones, and the quiet understanding that nobody gets out clean

There are no chosen ones here.

There are only those who are still breathing.

Pack light. Trust carefully.

The Zone is already watching.

Cheeki Breeki IV Danke! 💀

Freedom wants the Zone opened, not destroyed. ---

05 — MILITARY

Classification: Ukrainian state military / Zone containment force Primary Base: Agroprom Research Institute Ideological Character: State control, quarantine, territorial containment, enforcement

The Military represents the Ukrainian state's attempt to maintain control over the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and prevent unauthorized people from entering or leaving it. Unlike the independent Stalkers, soldiers are operating under governmental authority and are concerned primarily with security, containment and enforcement, not personal exploration. Their attitude toward unauthorized Stalkers is notoriously uncompromising. A person without authorization attempting to penetrate military-controlled territory can be treated as an intruder and shot. The Anomaly faction is based around the Agroprom Research Institute, while military units and checkpoints operate throughout the Zone's southern and central regions. The Military is heavily armed and benefits from conventional military logistics, but it is surrounded by enemies because almost every independent faction regards its authority as an obstacle. ([Stalker Wiki][4])

Behavioral profile: Rigid, bureaucratic, heavily armed, suspicious and uncompromising toward trespassers. To the Military, the Zone is a quarantined military problem—not a playground for adventurers. ---

06 — MERCENARIES

Classification: Private military contractors / Contract killers Primary Base: Sports Centre, Dead City Ideological Character: Money, contracts, professionalism, operational pragmatism

Mercenaries are professional soldiers operating inside the Zone for money. Unlike Duty or Freedom, they have no overarching ideological crusade concerning what the Zone should become. Their fundamental principle is the contract comes first. Clients hire them for everything from reconnaissance and artifact recovery to sabotage, assassination and other operations that respectable organizations would rather keep at arm's length. Their exact clientele and ultimate organizational structure are deliberately obscure, and the faction operates through multiple groups rather than one conventional chain of command. Anomaly places their headquarters in the Sports Centre of Dead City, while mercenary squads operate throughout the Zone. Their professionalism makes them particularly dangerous: a Mercenary does not necessarily hate you, and that may actually make him more dangerous—he may simply have been paid to kill you. ([Stalker Wiki][5])

Behavioral profile: Professional, calculating, heavily armed, contract-driven and willing to perform morally repugnant work for sufficient compensation. ---

07 — UNISG

Classification: United Nations scientific/military organization Primary Operational Areas: Jupiter, Outskirts; Sawmill in Darkscape associated with its storyline Ideological Character: Scientific investigation, intelligence gathering, geopolitical interests, secrecy

The United Nations International Scientific Group (UNISG) is one of Anomaly's more mysterious factions. It combines scientific investigation with highly capable military personnel and operates with an obvious intelligence/black-operations character. Their stated purpose involves investigating the Zone, its anomalies and artifacts, but their true strategic objectives are deliberately obscured. Anomaly portrays them as an extremely capable foreign organization equipped with advanced weapons and armor and possessing considerable expertise in reconnaissance, intelligence and covert operations. Their movements are deliberately concealed because exposure could compromise their mission. Their operational presence is associated with Jupiter and the Outskirts, while the Sawmill in Darkscape is associated with the UNISG storyline. Unlike most Zone factions, UNISG is essentially hostile to the entire local political ecosystem, with the Mercenaries being their principal neutral relationship. ([Stalker Anomaly][1])

Behavioral profile: Secretive, highly trained, intelligence-oriented, militarized and politically motivated. UNISG personnel are not tourists with microscopes—they are an armed foreign organization conducting operations inside an internationally sensitive exclusion zone. ---

08 — SIN

Classification: Fanatical religious/occult faction Primary Base: Mine Barracks, Red Forest Ideological Character: Mysticism, religious fanaticism, expansion of the Zone, devotion to Chernobog

Sin is one of the Zone's most disturbing factions. Its members are fanatical believers who regard the Zone as possessing a divine or transcendent nature and seek its expansion rather than containment. Their ultimate vision is horrifyingly expansive: the Zone should grow until it encompasses the world. Sin members are associated with their leader Chernobog and possess an almost cult-like devotion to their cause. Their physical appearance can be ragged and degraded, but their combat effectiveness should not be underestimated; they can fight on the level of experienced Stalkers despite their primitive appearance. Their headquarters is located at the Mine Barracks in the Red Forest, one of the Zone's most dangerous regions. Sin is hostile toward virtually everyone except Monolith, making them an exceptionally dangerous faction to encounter. ([Stalker Anomaly][1])

Behavioral profile: Fanatical, irrational, violent, cult-like and intensely devoted. Sin does not merely want to survive the Zone—it wants to spread it across the world. ---

09 — RENEGADE

Classification: Outcasts / Marauders / Criminal exiles Primary Base: No established formal headquarters; primarily Great Swamps Ideological Character: Rejection of all loyalties, criminal survivalism, predation

The Renegades are what happens when the Zone's criminal element becomes too rotten even for other criminals. They consist largely of outcasts, expelled members of other factions, criminals and Stalkers who have abandoned whatever loyalties they previously possessed. Their defining characteristic is the absence of a meaningful ideology beyond survival, violence and personal gain. They retain many Bandit-like behaviors—robbery, raiding and exploitation—but lack the Bandits' comparatively coherent factional structure. Anomaly places them primarily around the Great Swamps, without giving them the secure institutional headquarters enjoyed by the major factions. Their relationship with the Bandits is effectively their sole meaningful neutral connection; almost everyone else treats them as enemies. The original Clear Sky presented Renegades as a smaller offshoot of the Bandits, while Anomaly expanded them into a functioning faction of their own. ([Stalker Anomaly][1])

Behavioral profile: Depraved, treacherous, opportunistic, violent and socially rejected. They are not simply “Bandits with different uniforms”—they are people who have been discarded by other criminal and Stalker communities. ---

10 — MONOLITH

Classification: Fanatical cult / Brainwashed military force Primary Base: Palace of Culture, Pripyat; Chernobyl NPP stronghold Ideological Character: Absolute religious devotion, Zone worship, annihilation of outsiders

Monolith is arguably the Zone's most terrifying organized military force. Its members are fanatically devoted to the Monolith and operate as heavily armed religious zealots. Their minds have historically been subjected to powerful forms of brainwashing and manipulation, transforming ordinary people into obedient soldiers willing to die without hesitation for their perceived holy cause. Monolith forces defend the deepest regions of the Zone and regard outsiders as enemies who must be destroyed. In Anomaly their headquarters is the Palace of Culture in Pripyat, while their strategic heartland remains around Pripyat and the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. They possess some of the best equipment available in the Zone, including advanced armor and extremely powerful weaponry. They are effectively hostile toward almost everyone, making an encounter with Monolith less like meeting another faction and more like stumbling into a religiously motivated military kill-zone. ([Stalker Wiki][6])

Behavioral profile: Fanatical, fearless, heavily armed, suicidal when necessary and utterly hostile to outsiders. Monolith does not negotiate from a position of ordinary human rationality; its soldiers are conditioned to die for their faith. ---

11 — CLEAR SKY

Classification: Scientific-military research organization Primary Base: Hidden Base, Great Swamps Ideological Character: Scientific understanding, Zone stability, containment through knowledge

Clear Sky is fundamentally different from both Duty and the Ecologists. It is a secretive organization dedicated to understanding the Zone's underlying mechanisms and maintaining its stability rather than simply exploiting it or destroying it. Its members believe the Zone must be studied deeply enough to understand why it exists, how it functions and how its dangerous phenomena can be controlled. Clear Sky combines scientists, technicians and armed personnel, meaning that although research is its primary mission, its members are perfectly capable of fighting when necessary. Its headquarters is deliberately concealed within the Great Swamps, reflecting its secrecy and desire to remain outside the attention of ordinary Stalkers. The faction's history is directly connected to research into the Zone and the catastrophic events surrounding the Great Emissions. ([Stalker Wiki][7])

Behavioral profile: Secretive, scientific, disciplined and cautious, but not helpless. Clear Sky prefers knowledge over violence—until violence becomes necessary to protect its research or prevent catastrophe. ---

12 — ECOLOGISTS

Classification: Government-sponsored scientific organization Primary Base: Mobile Science Lab, Yantar Ideological Character: Scientific research, understanding the Zone, controlled exploitation of anomalous phenomena

The Ecologists are the Zone's official scientific researchers. Their objective is fundamentally different from that of treasure hunters: they want to understand the Zone's anomalies, mutants, radiation, artifacts and environmental phenomena and determine how those discoveries might benefit humanity. They are generally pacifistic and prefer to avoid direct combat, relying upon hired Stalkers, military protection or other armed groups when necessary. That pacifism should not be mistaken for weakness; Ecologists routinely send personnel into extraordinarily dangerous environments where a single mistake can result in death. Their primary Anomaly headquarters is the Mobile Science Lab in Yantar, although scientific operations also extend into other regions. Their comparatively neutral diplomatic position allows them to work with much of the Zone, but Bandits, Monolith, Renegades, Sin and UNISG remain serious threats. ([Stalker Anomaly][1])

Behavioral profile: Scientific, cautious, pragmatic and generally non-aggressive, but dependent upon armed escorts because the Zone does not give a damn about academic credentials. Currently engaged in intimate activity.
