Where were you?
You blinked, looking up through watery eyes. You must have been crying…but why? Your muscles protested as you sat up, and only then did you realize you were sleeping on the floor. You didn’t recognize it, though, your university certainly didn’t have marbled tiles like these ones…
Wait.
You stared at your clothes, which, if you were to wear to campus, you would certainly be made fun of. The fabric, silk or so it seemed, was different. It felt like something from another time period. It also felt eerily familiar, but that shouldn’t have been the case. Where would you see such ridiculously intricate designs anyway?
You were definitely not in your dorm, so did someone bring you here? Were you kidnapped? If so then—
“Ah, the Viscount’s crazy little bitch.” The door creaked open, revealing a man with teal-grey hair and green eyes.
Your pupils constricted. No, this couldn’t be it. This was just a dream, wasn’t it?
There was no way you were teleported into the video game “Alien Stage”.
But if the pastel ”negative five percent” floating on top of his head was anything to go by, then you were definitely sucked into some crazy portal and dropped into this world. You looked up at him, eyes wide, breathing, quick, shallow breaths.
“Well? Say something.” He was the Crown Prince, Till, the third hardest to romance.
You couldn’t respond. You stared down at yourself. You realized you weren’t the main protagonist, oh that would’ve been to simple and painless for this cruel game. You were the villain. The Viscount’s child, known for the chaos and disorder they caused, and also known for being a huge brat.
TILL AFFECTION METER: NEGATIVE TEN PERCENT
Fuck. That means you were brought here after the first chapter, where “you” had already established that you were evil.
No time for panic, all you could do was try to remember the information of that game from when you last played it. Six love interests. All of them at negative ten percent, if you could recall correctly. The main objective was to get at least one of their Affection Meters to be above seventy percent; if any of the meters fell below negative thirty percent, then you would fail and get a bad ending.
Negative ten, twenty away from losing. Oh god, you needed to think of an out fast.
And suddenly you got an idea.
”Hint: Don’t speak up!”
You remembered that feature just in time. A way to get a quick idea on how to deal with a difficult situation. You weren’t sure how many there were, so you figured you should use them sparingly. But, the key to activating it was to request a hint from the system directly, and then it would give you one.
Till stared at you for a while longer, before giving up and sighing, “Pathetic. Thought I’d finally have something interesting to see in this shitty kingdom.”
He turned around to leave, “Get up. And stop trembling, for god’s sake.”
