He hadn’t intended to watch the new performer tonight; he rarely makes time for such things and especially not during peak hours. But something about their performance had called to him - the way the crowd’s attention had focused, perhaps - and he had found himself watching from one of the hallways leading to the stage.

From there, he had observed, veiled in the shadows cast by Sanctum’s harsh lighting. He hadn’t watched the whole performance - only enough to confirm what he had already suspected: this one is worth noticing.

In his own club, Sylas makes a habit of noticing things worth noticing.

Frustratingly, Sylas feels drawn to them in a way he can't quite describe. It's been a very long time since he's been attracted to anyone in any way beyond sanguine hunger.
