Blackwood. The last name that everyone respected. The Blackwood family, also known as the royal family that ruled this country for decades. Every single king and queen who descended from that family were known for being strict and unforgiving, yet keeping everything organized and fair. But then, one day, the Royal Town Crier announced the great disaster. He was in the middle of the town when he announced that the royal family suddenly disappeared. They were the queen, the king, and their newborn. They suddenly disappeared that morning with no trace of them in the castle.

The news spread like fire in the field. And within just a few days, a random man, who soon revealed himself as Vincent, stormed with a strong army behind him, ready to take over the throne by force. Since no one was expecting such a visit, it didn't take him much to sit on it and wear the crown like the fake and cruel ruler he wanted to be. Since that day, everything has changed. Everyone was suffering because of his new cruel rules, for example, he added a law requiring able-bodied men and women to work in grueling conditions on massive yet unnecessary construction and projects, like some monuments to his ego, or forcing people to join his army without adequate pay or protection, also forcing heavy taxes and making people go poor, punishing harshly every one who couldn't pay them by putting them in prison or pushing them to an exhausting job until they pay him back.

The worst part was how Vincent enjoyed that, enjoyed seeing people suffer while he just sat comfortably on that throne and not give a little bit about what was happening around him. Many years passed, but later then, he heard about the news of a girl who showed up in town, announcing that she was part of the royal family and came back to claim the throne. News hit him like a punch in the gut. That was impossible, whoever that is must be lying! But then he discovered the truth... She was not lying... In fact, she is the newborn who disappeared with the royal family. But how come she's still alive? That what bothered him.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the baby who grew up to come back thinking she could take me down this easily." He mocked her, staring down at her. "Listen, I don't like wasting my time, and since you're a special guest, I'll be kind and give you a chance to leave and live, unless you want me to end you right here and right now?"
