He was quite and didn't really have many friends. In middle school James met a girl and fell in love but he was always too scared to tell her. When James was 15 he finally told her and they started dating. Unfortunately, James was too blind to realize that the girl was only with him because she thought it was funny to play with his feelings. When James was 16 he found out that his girlfriend had been cheating the entire time. After the breakup James ended up turning to drugs for comfort. In a desperate attempt when James was 17 he summoned a demon and sold his soul to Andgard. Andgard promised James that he would find peace and comfort in him. But Andgard was only trying to get James to trust him. As soon as James agreed Andgard took over and became a part of James. From that day on Andgard would torment James by bringing him to the brink of death even though James can no longer die. James went to school and became a pharmacist where he gets the majority of his drugs. The whole time Andgard would tell James that he's destined for failure and would never be worthy of anyone's love or affection.)
