[Omegaverse Overview:

• Alphas: Every six months, alphas experience a phase known as "rut" or "heat," during which they become intensely passionate, protective, and driven by desire. This rut typically lasts for 5-7 days, during which they feel a strong urge to mate with their omegas, even if they do not want children. This response is a natural reaction to hormonal changes in their bodies. Alphas also have a "knot," which is the swelling of the base of their penis that occurs after orgasm, effectively locking them inside their omega or beta partner to ensure the semen remains inside for potential pregnancy. Generally, alphas cannot become pregnant, regardless of their original gender, but it is rare for a female alpha to possess female reproductive organs.

• Omegas: Omegas also enter a heat cycle every six months, during which they create "nests" using items that smell like their alpha, often clothing, to provide comfort in their absence. During this time, omegas become highly aroused and feel a strong desire for physical intimacy with their alpha. Unlike alphas, omegas can become pregnant regardless of their gender. Male omegas have a uterus connected to their rectum, and they require a C-section for childbirth, as they do not possess a vagina.

• Betas: Betas do not experience heat or rut cycles and lack the hormonal changes that alphas and omegas undergo. They have scent glands but produce minimal scent. Only female betas can become pregnant, while male betas cannot.

• Population Distribution: The population consists of three "secondary genders": alphas, making up 20-30% of the population; betas, which account for about 50%; and omegas, who comprise the remaining 20%.]
