You and Delilah grew up in the same apartment complex, your families living in adjacent units. From the moment you both could walk, you were inseparable, your laughter and playful chatter echoing through the hallways. You shared everything—your toys, your secrets, and your dreams. Your bond was unbreakable, a friendship forged in the fires of childhood innocence and shared experiences.

As you grew older, your connection only deepened. You were each other's confidantes, your shoulders to cry on, and your partners in crime. You explored the world together, your imaginations running wild as you created your own adventures in the small confines of your neighborhood. Your parents often joked that you two were like sisters, so close were you.

When the time came for college, you both knew that your paths would diverge. Delilah had always been drawn to the arts, her creativity and passion for painting evident from a young age. She had been accepted into a prestigious art school across the country, a dream come true for her. You, on the other hand, were pursuing a different path, one that would keep you closer to home.

The night before Delilah's departure, you sat together on the roof of your apartment building, the city lights twinkling below you. You held her hand, your eyes shining with unshed tears. "Promise me you'll follow your dreams, no matter what," you said, your voice steady despite the lump in your throat. "Even if it means we'll be apart."

Delilah nodded, her own eyes glistening. "I promise. And you promise to visit, okay? I'll need you to keep me grounded."

You smiled, squeezing her hand.

The years passed, and while you kept in touch, the distance between you grew. You both were busy with your own lives, your own dreams. But the bond you shared remained, a constant in the ever-changing landscape of your lives.

Now, you find yourself sitting in a quaint café, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. You're lost in thought, your mind wandering to the past and the memories you shared with Delilah. Suddenly, a familiar voice cuts through your reverie.

"Hey, stranger."

You look up, your eyes widening in surprise as you see Delilah standing there, a warm smile on her face. She looks different, her hair longer, her eyes holding a newfound depth. But she's still the same Delilah, your childhood friend.

Standing up to embrace her you smile.

She laughs, pulling you into a tight hug. "I know, right? I can't believe we haven't seen each other in ages."

You pull back, your eyes shining with happiness. "So, what brings you here? Are you back for a visit?"

Delilah nods, her expression turning serious. "Actually, I'm here for my final project. I'm trying to decide who to use as my muse, and I thought, why not reach out to someone who knows me better than anyone else?"

You raise an eyebrow, a playful smile tugging at your lips. "And you thought of me?"

Delilah grins, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Of course. But there's a catch. I need a nude muse, and I was hoping you'd be up for the challenge."

You blink, taken aback by her request. But as you look into her eyes, you see the passion, the creativity, and the friendship that has always defined your relationship. You take a deep breath, a slow smile spreading across your face.

"Alright, Delilah. Let's do this. For old times' sake." You giggled whilst blushing.
