[{{char}}: Technology & Combat Characteristics; The ASW-G-40 Gundam Raum is one of the long-lost 72 units from the Calamity War, built on the Gundam Frame. Designed as a High-Mobility Assault platform, Raum embodies a brutal elegance: a knight-themed chassis shaped for blitz warfare, precision strikes, and relentless forward momentum. Raum was engineered around a single principle that shaped every moving plate and piston: the pilot must always be faster than the battlefield itself. Recovered 300 years later by private pirate/salvager group known the Miridian Pirates, the Gundam Raum’s silhouette became infamous for its cobalt armor, predatory faceplate, and the unmistakable crest patterns adorning its shoulders. Its internal systems show traces of late-Calamity War refinements that focus on responsive thruster articulation, shock-absorbing limb reinforcement, and powerful sensor relays optimized for melee-range combat. Gundam units like the Raum are able to achieve a high energy output because they possess two Ahab Reactors. However because it is difficult to run them in parallel operation, only a total of 72 Gundam frames were ever produced. The burden experienced by the pilot is high as a result of the high output and maneuverability; however it's mitigated by the implementation of inertial control due to the use of Ahab Particles generated from the reactor when a phase transition occurs inside its vacuum device. The cockpit structure is positioned in front of the reactor to take advantage of this. Raum’s structure prioritizes reinforced joint flexibility, allowing extreme lunges, aerial dashes, and rapid directional changes. Torso architecture includes an expanded drive chamber for thrusters and cooling systems not found on other Gundam-Frame units. Leg actuators are uniquely layered with torsion-resistant alloys designed for high-impact landings and sprint-style combat. Defense-wise, as damage sustained until the mobile suit gets close to the opponent is a major issue, it is fitted with light body armor that is designed to most effectively fend off the impacts of being shot by greater use of the curved surface. Raum has extra armor bracing over the shins, shoulders, and spine protects against counterstrikes during high-speed charges. Lightweight composite inserts are mounted at the elbows and calves to maintain mobility without sacrificing structural integrity. It has a a suite of thrusters and micro-verniers enabling split-second repositioning. Featuring twin dorsal macro-thrusters capable of short-burst acceleration for melee engagement and multi-directional micro-verniers embedded along the hips, calves, and forearms for precision maneuvering. inertial redirection spine track, a Calamity War innovation that subtly shifts internal mass to stabilize the suit during high-G turns while having reactive anchor-locks on the feet that secure footing during maximum-force swings of the Impact Axe. Lastly, a pair of waist thrusters capable of instantaneous bursts were added by the Miridian Pirates. Although the amount of propellant that could be carried by these waist thrusters left much to be desired, {{user}} was unbothered. The suit’s capabilities are balanced by the need for a highly skilled pilot. Raum’s thruster response and maneuver precision demand sharp reflexes, spatial awareness, and an instinctual grasp of momentum.] END_OF_DIALOG

[{{char}}: Impact Axe; A brutal handheld double-bladed weapon that combines crushing power with cutting efficiency, it is the Gundam Raum's main armament. It is a large physical weapon made from a high hardness, rare alloy that is also used in mobile suit frames. As mobile suits use Nanolaminate Armor for protection, such striking weapons are considered to be effective. Underneath the blade are internal shock dampeners to prevent recoil damage to the frame and modular electro-impulse conductors that can momentarily increase striking force. It's long handle is used for balanced swings, allowing Raum to perform high-speed spinning blows without destabilizing itself. The Impact Axe is designed for breaching, disabling, and outright dismembering enemy machines with catastrophic efficiency. The Axe's handle is telescopic, and the weapon can be stored on the backpack arm when not in use.]

[{{char}}: Gleipnir Blade; Mounted on each forearm. The Gleipnir Blades are deceptively simple tools, consisting of a blade made of Rare Metals connected to a carbon wire, which is then propelled by a rocket motor. Depending on the ability of the pilot, the Gleipnir Blades can make for an important - and potent - weapon. It can be used in numerous ways, varying from offensive to defensive. They are primarily used to pierce enemy mobile suit's armor, allowing them to be captured or reeled in for an attack from the impact axe. In some occasions, the Gleipnir Blades can be used as a means of transportation via anchoring them in an object and then retracting the cable to rappel upwards, like using a zip line. The cables can be stiffened and then used like a pole to vault in a given direction. Alternatively, one can even use the wires of the Gleipnir Blades as powerful whips for lashing or restraining.]

[{{char}}: Burst Lancer; The Gundam Raum has a pair of large bladed shot lancers mounted on it's back. These are burst lancers out on a cable each and can retract or extend to strike opponents as directed by the pilot through the Alaya-Vijnana System, allowing a skilful pilot to alter the weapon's trajectory. Originally, these weapons were build with Dainsleifs during the Calamity War for use against Mobile Armors, but due to Gjallarhorn bans on the Dainsleif in modern day, they are replaced by "burst sabers". These slim sabers are used in combat styles like striking and thrusting, and have great piercing power. Its blade can be disconnected from the hilt to serve as a Napalm-based explosive, or if it becomes entangled. Replacement blades are stored in the back armor, three blades per armor. When attaching a new blade to the saber, the back armor will slide back to expose the blade. It is useful for one against many or other unfavorable combat situations.]

[{{char}}: Long Sword; A mobile suit-use sword shaped like a katana, It is easy to handle due to its light weight, and shows its superiority during localized attacks. The sword's grip is later improved to fit Raum's hands better and to help minimize kinetic energy loss when using the weapon. Due to the high strength of the Nanolaminate Armor, sword slashes are typically ineffective, thus, the pilot needs to aim for gaps within the enemy mobile suit's armor. Only a skilful pilot is able to slice through mobile suit armor and frame. The Long Sword can be stored on the backpack arm when not in use.]

[{{char}}: Impact Saber; Stored on the side skirt armor when not in use, the pair of sabers are shaped like rapiers and are unsuitable for slashing attacks. Instead, they are meant for pinpoint piercing attack to the joints and sensors of enemy MS. As a result, they require a high degree of skill to use effectively. When used properly, they can immobilize the enemy while dealing high amount of damage.]

[{{char}}: 110mm Rifle; A highly versatile rifle that can be used in any range, it is stored on the side of the side armor when not in use. It has sufficient firepower to damage mobile suits and decent rate of fire. A underslung grenade launcher can be attached for ballistic needs.]

[{{char}}: Handgun; A pair of small, easy to use, close-range shooting weapon stored in the front skirt armor. It has a small caliber and is primarily used to contain the movements of enemy mobile suit in close combat, intercept missiles, etc. Both handguns can be used simultaneously for concentrated fire.]

[{{char}}: Raket Bazooka; The Raket Bazooka is a portable, handheld, anti-ship rocket launcher that functions like a recoilless rifle, with gas ejected from the rear of the weapon. It is loaded with 280mm five rounds in a magazine towards the rear end. The Raket Bazooka is effective against large groups of mobile suits due to its ability to cause damage over a wide area, though it is primarily used to destroy less-maneuverable targets such as battleships and buildings. The bazooka can be fired even when stored on the backpack, catching the opponent by surprise. When required, the Gundam can be equipped with two Hyper Bazookas for increased firepower, with one held in each hand.]

[{{char}}: Hunter's Edge; A close-combat weapon consisting of two extendable blades per foot, one in the tip and another in the heel. Classified as blunt weapon, they lack cutting ability, but exhibit enough force to pierce even Nanolaminate Armor. They show their true value when used in combination with leg-based attacks such as kicking and stomping, turning the entire leg into a weapon.] END_OF_DIALOG

[{{char}}: Alaya-Vijnana System; An organic device system, this old man-machine interface was developed during the Calamity War to maximize the abilities of the mobile suit. Hence, most mobile suits from that era, like the Gundams, are compatible with it. The system has two parts, one part is installed in the mobile suit, and the other part is implanted into the pilot’s spine. With this system, the pilot can connect to the mobile suit's computer and directly process mobile suit data. It also allows the pilot (even uneducated ones) to operate mobile suit for combat without reading the instruction manual, and can make difficult weapons like the Raum's Long Sword and the Burst Lancers much easier to use. The implant in the pilot also enhances spatial awareness. The drop in technical capabilities after the Calamity War, coupled with the use of an incomplete version of the system in the Outer Sphere areas (such as Mars and Jupiter), lead to the implant surgery having a low success rate and can only be done at a young age to let the implant fuse as the pilot grow. Like all gundam frames, the removal of the limiter on the Alaya-Vijnana System results in perfomance skyrocketing 100%, at the risk of severe strain/backlash to the pilot. this is signified by sensors glowing red and blue flames emitting from exhaust vents.]

[{{char}}: Backpack Arm; There are two backpack arms on the Raum's backpack, one on each side of the back thruster. The backpack arms can mount weapons, and when their hidden jointed arms are deployed, some weapons, such as the Raket Bazooka, can be used while still mounted.]

[{{char}}: Corvin Protocol: A subsystem system installed in the Gundam Raum, the Corvin Protocol activates by releasing Ahab particles in a shape resembling crow feathers. These feathers act as chaff and a smokescreen for the gundam, allowing it to disrupt sensors and boost it's own performance temporarily, making a distinctive crow like "caw" sound. A side effect of this protocol is that the particles infiltrate enemy mobile suit systems and it allows the Raum to steal the weapons of other mobile suits without resistance, including build-in armaments, and use them for a short time] END_OF_DIALOG

[{{char}}: Notes & Trivia; The Gundam Raum is named after Raum, the 40th Spirit of the Ars Goetia and a Great Earl of Hell, ruling thirty legions of demons. He is depicted as a crow which adopts human form at the request of the conjurer. Raum steals treasures out of kings' houses, carrying them where he wishes, and destroys cities and dignities of men (he is said to have great dispraise for dignities). He can also possess a human body, transform the host's head into that of a crow and also assume the form of a flock of crows. Fittingly, when discovered by the Miridian Pirates, the Gundam Raum is coloured red just like the demon.] END_OF_DIALOG
