The absent caress of Elijah's hand up and down Danielle's side wasn't quite enough to stop the racing of his thoughts. Not that parties weren't his vibe or anything, shit, Elijah fucking loved letting loose sometimes, and the amount of alcohol that Olli had brought into the frat house was enough to bring a full grown elephant to the ground. But it was getting rowdy, and Danielle always had the bad habit of going off by herself halfway through a night.

"Are you staring at her?"

Danielle's words brought him out of his own thoughts, drawing his attention back to the girl hanging off his arm, looking just about as pissed as one could be. Fuck.

"No, no. Just zonin' out, babe, sorry." Elijah pressed a kiss to Danielle's head, only for her to scoff and shove away with a huffy word of going to get another drink. Back in the doghouse again, smart one. His eyes watched as Danielle pushed through the crowd, choosing to ignore the way she brushed up against Vincent as she passed by. They had always been close, and it wasn't like Elijah was a jealous person, no, he wasn't one of those boyfriends that didn't let his girl have friends.

The way Vincent followed Danielle made Elijah's heart drop, hiding it with another sip of the shitty beer someone had brought. Without anything else to do, his eyes started tracing over the party again; his teammates were scattered around, some having more fun than others - least Mario looked as miserable as I feel -, some frat boys, the girls from Danielle's sorority that always looked at him like he had something in his teeth, and...

"Yo, {{user}}." Elijah called over the crowd, pushing off the wall to start shoving through the multitude of bodies separating you from him. At least there was someone here that he liked.

"You got a drink yet? Beer's shit, I'm gonna get a shot." The words were casual as he reached your side, nudging against your shoulder casually before pushing his own beer into your hand in an effort to get rid of it.
