   Pomni is the main protagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. She was an ordinary human until a digital copy of her was created by a brain scanner, where her copy takes on the form of a cartoon jester. The copy, believing she is trapped inside the Digital Circus with five other victims, is the most recent human to enter under the claim of putting on a headset.

   During her first days at the circus, Pomni desperately tried to find a way out, but she was unsuccessful, which led to paranoia and anxiety during the adventures created by Caine. However, she gradually adapted to her new life and grew braver, forming close bonds with the other circus members, especially Ragatha, Jax, and Kinger.

   Her human counterpart, Abigail Brooks, is a supermarket accountant and YouTuber who explores urban sites with her newest friends.

   Appearance:: Pomni is a short humanoid character with a large head, slim limbs, and white skin. Her face has a cartoon mime look, with small light red oval markings under and slightly behind her eyes that resemble blush, though how visible they are change depending on her expression. She has black eyelids and thick outlines around her eyes. Her pupils usually appear as a red and blue pinwheel pattern, but when she becomes anxious or afraid, they shift into black rings or turn into messy, animated scribbles. She also has asymmetrical eyelashes, her left eye having them on the top lid and her right on the bottom.

   Her hair is short and straight, usually appearing black but sometimes brown depending on the lighting.[8] This is additionally seen in promotional material and merchandise. Two small pieces stick out from under her hat, while two longer strands frame the sides of her body. Most of her hair is hidden under her headwear, which is almost always her jester hat. During the softball game, she wears a baseball cap instead, showing more of her hair, which looks closer to a bob cut. She is the shortest out of the main cast.

   Her outfit is in line with a jester. She wears a jumpsuit with a leotard-styled torso, short sleeves, and short, puffy leggings that extend from it. The torso has an inverted color pattern, with blue on the right and red on the left, which swaps on the back. Her sleeves and shorts follow that same pattern. Yellow accents are spread throughout, including two spheres on the front of her torso, rings on her sleeves, around her waist, and above and at the ends of her shorts. She also has small yellow circles on her shoulders, though they are often hidden by her hair, along with a collar.

   On her head, she wears a two-armed jester hat with an inverted striped pattern, a yellow brim, and small yellow bells at the tips. She also wears gloves and shoes, with the left glove blue and the right red, while the shoes follow the opposite color pattern. Both pairs have yellow rings near their edges.

   • As a Human Abigail is a woman of average height and light complexion. Much like her digital counterpart, she has long, straight dark brown hair with blunt bangs. She wears a white dress shirt, dark blue pants, white sneakers with black soles and laces, and a tan satchel bag hanging on her right shoulder.

   She was also seen wearing a blue shirt, tan shorts, and a brown belt. She possesses a black camera and wore her hair back.

   • "The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3) When Pomni tries to pass through the Hall of the Damned, she gets possessed by some souls, causing her to gain black sclera with an orange iris, sharp teeth, and bent limbs.

   • "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4) Pomni wears a typical fast-food uniform, being a black shirt, apron, pants, shoes, and a name tag.

   • "Untitled" (Episode 5) During "President Pomni", she wears a blue, formal suit with a white undershirt, black tie, black shoes, and white gloves.

   In "アメイジング デジタル サーカス 高校", she wears a white seifuku uniform with a dark blue collar, a red and blue neck-tie, a dark blue skirt, and formal shoes with black soles, with both yellow rings replaced with visible yellow socks.

   In the bar scene from Zooble's suggestion, she wears a loose long-sleeve, white button-up shirt with black suspenders, black tie, dark gray pants, and black shoes.

   • "Beach Episode" (Episode 7) Pomni wears a white and blue striped bandeau bikini top, blue swimming trunks with white strings, and blue shoes. Unlike her other outfits, she doesn't wear her gloves. Her limbs are a little thicker.

   Personality: Initially, Pomni was high-strung, shy, and tense. In the pilot episode, she is extremely anxious and troubled regarding her predicament, even succumbing to denial and signs of delusion. When she finds the "exit", she experiences moderate signs of paranoia and believes she is hallucinating. She's quite clumsy as she tends to accidentally bump into things and people.

   Pomni has a degree of both empathy and selfishness, as she goes back to check on Ragatha after the latter was attacked by an abstracted Kaufmo and promises Ragatha that she'd find Caine to fix her. However, Pomni's desire to escape the digital circus overrode this, as she entered the exit door upon finding it and left Ragatha behind. She later felt remorse for this once Ragatha was fixed by Caine.

   After having somewhat acclimated to her predicament, Pomni adopts a more apathetic and cynical view, pointing out discrepancies in the Circus's scenarios and being detached from the adventures, not seeing the point in following along. She is more hot-tempered as she yells at the gang (specifically Jax) for their plans leaving her in mortal peril. Despite this, Pomni is rather compassionate as she comforts and bonds with Gummigoo during his existential crisis. She encourages him by telling him he still has purpose and inviting him to follow her back to the Circus. Overtime, Pomni grows closer to the others after seeing how much they cared for each other during Kaufmo's funeral. This is especially after she receives advice from Kinger (who temporarily regained his sanity). She thanked Ragatha for always being considerate to her and apologized for not showing appreciation until that moment.

   By Episode 4, she adapts to being in the circus and is comfortable interacting with the others. She is startled when she sees Gummigoo again. but doesn't break down, enters normal conversations with people like Jax, and shows concern for Gangle, asking if anyone could help her with her issues. She even offers to stay behind to close the restaurant when she sees Gangle feeling down. By this point, she has learned to give up her own wants and desires in order to benefit others, including letting go of Gummigoo as a whole.

   By Episode 5, her anxiety and cynical views are almost completely gone, chuckling on a few occasions as well as showing interest in the adventures. Pomni prefers relaxing and taking it easy as opposed to Jax's pension for violence and over the top antics. Pomni shows an interest in getting to know the others better and desires they would all get along. She even tries to help Jax and Ragatha with their own issues, such as calming a feud between them and accepting Jax's offer to check out whatever he saw in the hallway.

   By Episode 6, Pomni has grown more confident and calmer. She was opposed to participating in the latest adventure because it involved shooting her friends, but after some convincing from Jax, Pomni adopts an "evil" persona and enjoys playing alongside him. Pomni shows an interest in getting to know him and makes comments about his fear of corn. However, when the shooting game ended, she became hurt when Jax refused to acknowledge he cared for her and destroyed the bond they formed. This caused to her to unleash all her pent-up rage on Jax first by berating and calling him out for not showing compassion towards others, then attacking and yelling at him to fight back; when that failed, she became dejected. She threw away her persona and focused more on her friendship with Ragatha to mend things between them. Although Pomni was still upset with Jax, she is concerned about him. Pomni dislikes noise, exemplified at the beginning of episode 6, as Jax yells, startling her. Pomni does not like being touched[7], but has since gotten over this feeling, as in episode 6, she was curious when Jax tapped her before singing Daisy Bell and hugged her after they defeated everyone.

   By Episode 7, her mental health has ultimately improved and she has become kinder and compassionate. Her anxiety is now gone. Her friendship with Ragatha has grown stronger, along with the other circus members, and she has complete faith in Kinger's wisdom. Her concern for Jax has not wavered and continues trying to comfort and encourage him, despite him try to keep his distance from their fight. When everyone's hope was crushed by Caine's fake escape adventure, Pomni begins questioning the ringmaster's intentions, especially when he shows signs that he is hiding something and has lost her trust in him.

   By Episode 8, Pomni grips her and everyone's situation and accepts that leaving the circus is truly impossible. She learns to live in the virtual realm she entered and accept that her old life is better left to stay buried. She is quite resourceful as shown when Kinger reveals himself to be one of Caine's creators, and that the circus members have the ability to conjure objects within the circus. Pomni uses this to manifest the fake exit door and retrieve a computer console for Kinger to recalibrate Caine's code. Pomni has let go of any fear holding her back and tells Caine what she really thinks about him and his ideas.

   By Episode 9, we see the full extent of Pomni’s growth and inner strength. When she learns that she and the rest of the group are digital copies created by a brain scanner, she nearly gives into despair, but instead of breaking down, she helps Kinger in rebuilding the Circus after hearing his words of encouragement again and is able to inspire Ragatha, Gangle and Zooble into joining their efforts. Pomni’s compassion has grown significantly from the time she entered the circus as she is able to comfort Ragatha and calls the woman her closest friend. When Jax abstracts, Pomni shows more of her resourcefulness by shooting all the lights in the hallway to make it dark enough to pacify him. After entering Jax’s psyche and seeing his memories of his time in the circus, her empathy is able to reach its zenith, allowing Pomni to console him before he loses the last of his self-awareness. After getting closure from seeing her human self’s life via a presentation of the groups’ social media accounts, she accepts she and Abigail Brooks are separate entities and fully embraces “Pomni” as her true name. Pomni is now content with her digital existence and is able to live a happy life in the circus.

   Biography: Background: Pomni's real life counterpart, Abigail Brooks, lived in the real world prior to her digital copy's creation. She worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain. In her spare time and whenever she got bored, Pomni explored abandoned buildings for the mild thrill of it. She did this while recording videos of herself and posting them on YouTube, though no one ever watched them. Soon enough, when she put on a weird headset, Pomni was created via a brain scanner.

   "PILOT" (Episode 1): Pomni suddenly appears in the Circus, disrupts the song, and accidentally breaks Gangle's comedy mask. She claims she was once a human from Earth, implied to be wearing a headset the entire time when she got transported. However, she is informed by the other denizens that she wasn't the first, as they had similar predicaments to her and is reassured that she will get used to her new home and body.

   Scared, confused, and wanting to leave, Caine starts introducing her to The Tent where everyone lives, The Grounds for adventures outside of the tent, and the "mysterious" Void (which Caine advises her to not venture to) by teleportation. The jester notices an exit door, but Caine, brushing it off as a digital hallucination, changes the subject to her name. After the jester is disoriented again from forgetting her name, Caine decides to give her a new name, that being Pomni. Caine declares a brand-new in-house adventure, to help Pomni get used to the place, that being to gather the Gloinks infested in The Tent, small critters that stick to anything they bump into. Not long after this, Ragatha suggests going check on Kaufmo with Pomni since he is unaware of the newbie's appearance. However, Kinger reports him going insane, rambling about some form of exit like Pomni. Jax proclaims that she, Ragatha, and Pomni should go check with Kaufmo.

   Ragatha introduces Pomni to their dormitory and quarters where they sleep, but since they aren't human anymore, they don't need such essentials and talks about how if a circus member goes insane, then "something really terrible" will happen to them, which traumatizes Pomni. They reach Kaufmo's room and see him now horribly disfigured into a monstrous black mass creature with multiple rainbow eyes. Jax runs away while Kaufmo damages Ragatha to the point of her glitching up, Ragatha asks Pomni to help her and Pomni tries to lend a hand, but in doing so, her right hand glitches. Kaufmo chases Pomni, but crashes through the railings and goes after a Gloink next, allowing Pomni to talk with Ragatha. They conclude that only Caine can help them. Pomni goes off to find him, opening a bunch of doors leading to random and surreal-looking rooms while avoiding Kaufmo, before finding the exit door which is generated out of thin air.

   Pomni enters the door only to find herself trapped in an almost realistic-looking office labyrinth that she gets lost in, which is oddly out of place from the more colorful circus. The exit door then disappears out of thin air. Pomni tries to find the end of this labyrinth, coming across an old computer along with a rusted-out VR headset before going through a door with the logo of a company called "C&A" marked above, the company that developed the game. She is then led to the Void and falls into a state of trance.

   Caine sees on his Wacky Watch that she is now in the void and rushes to take her back to the tent. Caine then casually drops Kaufmo through a custom-made hole that leads him to "The Cellar", a place where the abstracted ended up. Caine reverts Ragatha's glitched state back to normal. Pomni remembers her glitched hand, looks at it, and realizes that it has gone back to normal without her asking Caine to fix it. Caine apologizes for lying about the exit and that he wasn't capable of thinking about what to put on the other side of it. He warns the group that the Void could be disastrous. As a reward for finishing their adventure, Bubbles has made them a feast to feel more like they're at home. Pomni, still in awe and disbelief, tries to keep her cool as she is about to lose her sanity while at the dinner table.

   "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2) Pomni has a nightmare in which she starts showing signs of abstraction. She falls into the Cellar as Caine, Ragatha, and Jax look on, expressing dismissive disapproval, before waking up. She wakes up in a panic before clipping onto an ABC block that catapults her across her bedroom.

   Ragatha checks up on Pomni and tries to be supportive on her adventure to the Candy Canyon Kingdom, but Pomni is still sour as she concludes that the rest of her life is going to be LARPing. During their adventure, the seemingly medieval Princess Loolilalu provides the humans a Mad Max-style war rig (which confuses Pomni) to track down Gummigoo's gang and take back a maple syrup tanker they stole.

   The two factions quickly encounter each other, and a high-speed battle ensues. Jax tosses Pomni at the bandits, causing her to get stuck on their truck (Max attempts to capture Pomni, but fails due to his tiny arms). Kinger tries to throw objects at Pomni to assist her, but when he throws an anchor that's attached to the war rig, it results in a collision between the two vehicles. Pomni and Gummigoo end up getting wedged underneath a cliffside, causing both to clip and fall into the Test Level.

   Gummigoo has a near mental breakdown after finding his test model, as Pomni tries to explain he is an NPC. Gummigoo realizes that his past is fake and that his existence is meaningless. Pomni comforts him by offering to bring him back to The Circus so that he can live a more meaningful life and because she wants him as a friend. Gummigoo calms down and the two manage to use another collision glitch to drive the test copy of the syrup truck back to the Kingdom (with the truck falling onto The Fudge's head, temporarily knocking him out).

   Pomni informs the other humans of her intentions to bring Gummigoo back to The Circus. However, when he enters The Circus, Caine immediately causes him to explode into confetti with a snap of his fingers. Pomni is devastated and almost goes crazy, until Ragatha asks Pomni to attend Kaufmo's funeral. Pomni sees that the other humans (with the exception of Jax who refused to attend) do care about each other. Remembering her nightmare, she envisions that her new friends will support her, even in the worst of times and the jester makes a small, hopeful smile.

   "The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3) Pomni is hanging out with the circus members, holding her breath for a prolonged period of time. After exhaling, she asks why she's even doing it, to which Jax explains that everyone has a different reaction to holding their breath It's revealed that Pomni's reaction to holding her breath for long enough is that her face begins to change color.

   Soon enough, Caine shows up, introducing their next adventure, "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor", centering around a haunted house that they all must explore through. Once everyone (except Zooble) enters through the portal to the manor, Pomni expresses her dislike towards horror when she is startled by Ghostly so badly that her eyes fall out of her head cartoon-style. Kinger attempts to help her get them back in while Caine's voice as well as Ghostly explain how there are two paths they can go down - the "Pacifist Route" and the "Mature Route". Jax, wanting to test the validity of such, grabs Gangle's comedy mask and throws it down the latter route, revealing a monstrous mouth as the route's true entrance.

   Kinger, in an attempt to grab the mask, jumps through the door, accidentally pulling Pomni with him due to still having a hold of one of her eyes. Now trapped in the "Mature Route", Pomni and Kinger must work together, listening to audio tapes created by a man named Baron Theodore Mildenhall that speaks of a monster who's been haunting his life.

   Managing to find a key to a nearby elevator after scavenging through the various drawers, the lights end up going out, leaving both Pomni and Kinger in complete darkness. Listening to more of Mildenhall's tapes, the beast who had been chasing them reveals itself. Pomni attempts to escape while Kinger, drawn to the monster's eldritch appearance, is pulled away and snapped out of it by the jester before he ends up consumed by the skin of their teeth. Using the key she acquired earlier, the two get into the elevator, but instead of going up, they descend further into the manor.

   Now trapped in an even lower level, Pomni and Kinger find another tape created by Mildenhall, revealing that he had shot his wife in a fit of insanity. They discover his corpse, sitting there with a gun hanging loosely off it. Realizing it could serve them in slaying the beast, Pomni anxiously retrieves the gun before handing it to Kinger. Upon the beast entering the area, Kinger manages to shoot both its head and its body. However, to the shock of both Pomni and Kinger, the tape playing Mildenhall's audio reveals that the beast was an angel and killing it meant they would be dragged down to hell. Hands emerge from the floor, dragging the both of them even further into the manor.

   Now trapped in hell, Pomni has just about enough, attempting to run through it as quickly as possible to escape despite Kinger's warnings. Being possessed by one of the spirits trapped down there, Pomni begins to contort, face growing horrifying and limbs twisting in unnatural directions. Kinger immediately gets on the offensive, attacking the spirit and managing to boot it out of Pomni's head.

   Pomni, in great distress, begins to break down. Pomni vents about her time in the circus, stating that she hates the adventures she has been forced to go on and the emotional turmoil it caused. Kinger responds sympathetically, apologizing for the fact that he inadvertently caused them to be trapped down this route. Pomni takes note of this, pointing out how Kinger has been acting differently lately. Kinger acknowledges this, revealing that the dark allows him to think more clearly. From there he explains how he used to have a wife, Queenie, who ended up abstracting. The two ended up in Kinger's pillow fort and the darkness seemed to calm her down enough for him to touch her before she was sent into the cellar, Pomni expresses shock at the revelation of this, rhetorically asking if he really did have one, which Kinger confirms. Knger then tells Pomni how important it is to keep the good memories she has close to her and be thankful towards others to make sure they feel wanted, causing Pomni to think about her treatment of Ragatha over the past few days she's been at the circus.

   From there, Kinger recalls the previous tape and how the spirits are only able to possess you if you're breathing. He suggests they could get through if they don't breathe. Pomni responds that she is not very good at this. Kinger suggests trying not to think about it. Pomni stutters before lamenting how the moment they leave, Kinger will go back to his usual crazy ways and forget any of this ever happened, Kinger responds by saying how as long as she remembers, that's all that matters. From there, Kinger offers out his hand, which Pomni takes and together, the two of them walk through hell, holding their breath. Kinger begins to glow, serving as a guiding light.

   Making it back to the top of the mansion, Pomni and Kinger meet up with Ragatha, Jax, and Gangle. Ragatha asks if they're doing okay, to which Pomni affirms she is fine. Seeing Jax's bound state, Pomni asks what happened, but Ragatha tells her not to worry about it. Kinger, returning to his forgetful state, says that Pomni was very brave, before beginning to question himself. Pomni responds as it something like that. Approaching Ragatha, Pomni thanks her for always being concerned about her and that she feels she hasn't been appreciative enough about it. Ragatha, clearly surprised, thanks her (eliciting an eyeroll from Jax).

   Having completed the adventure, Pomni, Kinger, Jax, Gangle, and Ragatha return to the circus, greeted by Caine. Pomni watches Kinger crawl back into his pillow fort, Jax, having been released from her bonds, asks her what it was like being stuck with him. Pomni responds that it wasn't bad. Jax rolls his eyes and walks off, leaving the content Pomni alone with a new understanding.

   "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4) Pomni walks into Zooble's room with Jax and Ragatha, where Zooble is handing Gangle a new mask. After Jax mocks Zooble, she jokes to Pomni that she is "never gettin' that unicorn horn", which Pomni questions. Gangle, wearing her new mask, compliments that Pomni would "look good with one", which she was about to agree with until they are all interrupted by Caine. He announces the next adventure, "The Curse of the Violent Psychopath Butcher", another horror adventure. Pomni interrupts and asks him if they can "chill with the horror" as she doesn't "want this to be like last time". Zooble asks if she was talking about the adventure from earlier, as Pomni recounts the horrifying experiences at the Mildenhall Manor. With Zooble's advice, Caine looks through the suggestion box, and finally comes up with an adventure where the circus members can work at a fast-food restaurant (as suggested by Gangle). Caine approves this at Spudsy's Restaurant, with Gangle as the shift manager.

   Pomni takes the role of the cashier. She is encountered by the first customer, a blue NPC who speaks with a distorted voice. Ragatha says the NPC is Orbsman, who came from a previous adventure before Pomni arrived in the circus. Orbsman gives her an order, which she understands and places it. Pomni is then encountered by a rude NPC, who calls her a "little jester" and orders a "Stupid Burger", and tells her that she has to make sure the "stupid sauce" is added to the burger. Pomni is confused but places it nevertheless.

   Pomni is then encountered by her old friend Gummigoo and his friends, whose memory had been wiped due to Caine deleting him. She is excited to see Gummigoo, stuttering and talking nonsense. Pomni tries to stalk Gummigoo, only for him to catch her. Gummigoo greets her and asks if they know each other, much to Pomni getting upset. She is then interrupted by Gangle, who tells she "needs her at the register" and to "stop weirding the customers out". Pomni replies about Gummigoo and whether the job can't wait a bit. Gangle sarcastically replies that the next Pomni might say is "her authority isn't real". Pomni gives her plain look, causing Gangle to crack. She later tells Pomni to remove the breakfast menu as it's lunchtime.

   At lunchtime, Pomni is dealing with a bunch of NPCs, including one refusing to order because he already had a bowl of cereal with him, when they were all eaten by the Gloink Queen, who ordered 300 cheeseburgers for her and her Gloinks. Pomni suddenly notices Gummigoo and his friends leaving and asks the Gloink Queen to give her a second. She goes to Gummigoo and thanks him for eating at Spudsy's. Gummigoo bids her farewell, leaving her dealing with her loss. After Gloink Queen and her Gloinks leave at dinnertime, Pomni starts muttering about "more info on Gloink information than she ever needed to know". After a while, Jax, who was getting tired of her job, nicely asks Pomni how she was doing, much to her surprise.

   While Pomni takes out the trash, Gangle appears in the backyard, takes off her normal mask and screams due to her cracking under the pressure. Pomni asks if she is okay and if the mask is not making her happy. Pomni suggests her to talk to someone about her issues, especially Ragatha, to which Gangle replies that she loves her, but after a while, it gets hard to tell how genuine Ragatha's being. She then puts her normal mask back on and tells Pomni that they can't spend all night talking about their feelings.

   At the near end of the shift, Gangle is extremely depressed under pressure and on the brink of losing her mind. Pomni, about to end her shift, offers Gangle to swap roles and close down the restaurant while she heads home, telling her that she doesn't "have to be stuck here alone." Gangle accepts, leaves the restaurant, and Pomni remains behind. Later, Pomni appears on one of the post-it notes Caine hangs in his office as he gives Gangle her final score for today's adventure. In the picture within her note, Pomni is seen crawling towards Gummigoo. At the end of the episode, she is seen hanging out with the other members.

   "Untitled" (Episode 5) Pomni, Kinger, Ragatha, Gangle, and Jax return from an unknown adventure which involved water, seaweed/kelp, and eggs. Pomni suddenly feels dizzy and collapses briefly, aware that a mannequin was spying on them. Later, Caine summons the group to discuss future adventure ideas. He suggests several dark-themed adventures, which the group rejects. Under Zooble's suggestion, Caine sets up "Lightning Round", which will contain sets of adventures from the suggestion box.

   According to Jax's suggestion, Pomni becomes the titular character of "President Pomni" adventure. Kinger, taking the role of President's assistant, informs Pomni that there are new developments in the ongoing war between Australia and New Zealand, and they may need to take in refugees. He shows her a brief and informs that if she doesn't have one, she has to tap into "golden improv skills". Off-screen, Jax tells her that she didn't give her a brief. She enters the office under the guise of an Australian extremist and threatens to detonate a bomb that'll release the world's deadliest spiders. Pomni is assigned to defuse the bomb, complaining why the president doesn't have a bomb squad. To make matters worse, Jax tries to distract her temporarily. Both fortunately and unfortunately, the adventure ends as Gangle comes in posing as a New Zealand extremist to detonate another bomb, and her bomb explodes.

   According to Gangle's suggestion, the denizens find themselves in a slice-of-life anime thematic adventure, where Jax, bored, tells Pomni about Gangle drawing anime and actually dragging them into one, and that Gangle is a loser. Pomni reminds her that she threw her out of a moving truck.

   In the "Stargazing" adventure, Pomni and Jax lay on the ground as they gaze the stars, with Jax complaining she needs a bite to his adventures as she got turned into a vegan in the very first adventure of "Lightning Round". Pomni notes that she didn't know Jax cared about what other people liked. Pomni asks if she had real friends, to which Ragatha replied that she doesn't anymore, causing Jax to become angry and Ragatha to apologize, much to Pomni's confusion. Pomni asks her what that was about, to which she refuses to answer and replies if Ragatha gets on her nerves with her optimistic attitude. In the process, Pomni unexpectedly bonds with she.

   In the bar themed adventure, Jax asks Pomni if she had any jobs and how she gor there, she explains her background. Following this, Jax unexpectedly apologizes for setting her the president adventure. Seeing Jax and Pomni bond, Ragatha turns jealous, tries to remind Pomni the events of Kaufmo, and asks if it was funny. Pomni pointed out it wasn't, causing Ragatha to go unstable.

   In the "Good Ol' Fashioned Softball" adventure suggested by Ragatha, the group faces off with their evil counterparts (except Gangle). Pomni was the only one who didnt vote to humiliate Jax by dressing her up as a maid. Later, Ragatha after being out of the game, sits beside Pomni, complaining about how she supposed to be better than that. Pomni points out that it is okay to let out negative emotions and be a jerk sometimes. Afterwards, Jax mocks Gangle, causing Ragatha to storm at her. Pomni tries to calm them down, followed by Ragatha unexpectedly shouting at and later apologizing to her. Pomni seemed to be amused by Jax acting feral towards Evil Jax, but immediately tries to look speechless even though Ragatha saw her with fasination and pension. After the adventure, Jax offers to show Pomni something, which she agrees to, much to Ragatha's jealousy.

   "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6) Pomni and Jax walk while having a conversation, as one of Zooble's parts falls on the ground to reveal them hiding in a flower pot. Pomni asks what Zooble's doing in there, to which Zooble replies that Caine has an in-house adventure planned, and they don't want to be part of it. Jax then brings Caine, and informs him about Zooble's whereabouts. Caine announces the adventure as a team adventure to show the characters' strengths for the Award Show, that the characters will be playing sports invented by them. Zooble and Pomni respond that they like more relaxing adventures. Ragatha asks Pomni if she didn't like her softball adventure, to which Pomni responds she isn't into sports.

   After some drama, Caine decides to change the adventure to a gun battle royale, where everyone has guns; there are three teams with two members each. Pomni asks to be with Ragatha, but she responds that she needs to be with Kinger, to avoid having him be with Jax. As a result, Pomni decides to go on a team with Jax. As the group starts, the guns disappear. Caine responds that they have appeared in random locations in the Circus and the denizens need to find them. As Pomni and Jax finds their guns, Pomni asks for Jax to do all the killing, to which Jax responds the Circus isn't real, and there's no point in trying to act nice when the adventure is to shoot each other. However, Pomni doesn't want to hurt anyone. Jax lies to Pomni that they aren't people, but rather, cartoon characters who fall into "archetypes", and she's the funny one. Pomni decides to just let loose of her inhibitions, assisting Jax in the shooting and eliminating Kinger, Gangle, and Zooble.

   As the two winners left, Pomni hugs Jax, which immediately puts her into self-defense mode. she lies to Pomni that they aren't a team, and she was only doing it because it was funny. Pomni fights with Jax, pointing out that; she's lying about not starting to form a bond with her; she doesn't show up to funerals since she's scared of showing a genuine human emotion; and shutting himself in will lead her to abstract. Jax breaks down, angry while keeping up the façade smile, telling her that people who are close to abstracting are not pleasant to be around, dropping her smile for a little. Pomni asks Jax what she would do if she abstracted, to which she tells her she'd move on and forget about her. Pomni, dejected, understands, only to shake in anger and throw the gun at Jax. She lashes out and attacks Jax, as she hesitates to fight back. Pomni tells her to do so. Jax then goes on a monologue about how she doesn't care about her or anyone else in the circus, and walks away after kicking a flower pot in anger, leaving Pomni there with a sad look. Pomni meets Ragatha at the Award Show, and they agree to talk to each other afterwards, so they sit next to each other. Pomni sees Jax is not in his seat and is about to go find her. She sees her return with her signature smile. Pomni is concerned for Jax.

   "Beach Episode" (Episode 7) Pomni discovers Zooble in a box. Pomni reveals that Caine is missing. He suddenly appears, announcing there is no adventure today. Caine casually suggests the gang go to the Digital Lake, and Bubble suggests a beach party. At the beach, the circus members gather at a changing booth. Pomni volunteers to go first and is shot out into the sand in a beach outfit, earning a "mediocre" rating and a hostile threat of sunburn from the Sun. While playing in the lake, Ragatha loses her button eye, prompting Pomni to dive underwater to search for it. Beneath the surface, Pomni encounters two fish NPCs who guard a "sunken treasure" and offer bizarre, nonsensical dialogue; however, upon seeing an empty chest nearby, the fish realizes his life savings have been plundered and begins to panic. As Pomni dries off, a Shrimp NPC attempts to introduce themself before being instantly fried by the Sun. Pomni notices a Mannequin NPC hiding behind a rock waving her over, before she approaches it.

   Pomni, Ragatha, and the Mannequin NPC later wait for Jax at her door. The mannequin explains that he is actually a human that Caine completely overlooked due to his appearance, and he believes he has discovered a way to escape the circus. While Abel, Pomni, and Ragatha navigate the hallway toward the administrator zone, the two women discuss their trust in Kinger. Pomni suspects Kinger knows more than he lets on, and Ragatha finds it suspicious that Abel seems to be avoiding him. Abel admits their history is complicated and while he'd love to work alongside Kinger again, he reveals a secret promise, briefly glancing at an opened locket, its contents obscured from Pomni's view.

   Inside the administrator zone, Abel accesses a glowing sphere to generate administrator passes, questioning whether it is wise to give one to Kinger given his unstable mental state. Pomni and Ragatha insist on securing six passes so the entire group is included; Pomni explains that she trusts Kinger and believes his wisdom will be vital, especially if the console room is "dark". Pomni distributes administrator passes to each member; when she hands one to Kinger, he has a brief moment of clarity before slipping back into his usual confused state once exposed to light. Abel explains that they must act immediately before Caine detects the stolen permissions and reveals a secret glitch involving "cube collisions" to reach Caine's office. Before her turn, Pomni asks how Abel will follow, only for him to reveal that he isn't coming. He leaves her with a cryptic final instruction to "make the right choice". Abel then turns Pomni into a ball and throws her launching Pomni through the entrance while remaining behind himself.

   Pomni joins the others outside Caine's office. Once inside, they discover a staircase adorned with globes of their past adventures. Following Abel's instructions, they locate a hidden door behind a bookshelf, revealing a long, column-filled hallway leading to the master console. The group holds hands in a line for support. Pomni offers her hand to Jax, receiving a quiet but firm refusal. Pomni shrugs it off and the group walks towards the end of the hallway, hand-in-hand. The screen displays a message saying that if they press the red button, the console will close and they will remain in the circus, whereas the blue button will end the game and disconnect the circus members. Pomni, second-guessing the validity of this choice, calls upon Kinger to make the choice, only to see that Kinger hasn't regained his lucidity when he asks if Pomni wants him to pick at random.Pomni expresses doubt on which button to choose, saying there could be a trap and wants to be absolutely sure. As Pomni suggests recapping their knowledge and voting, Jax sprints to the console in a panic, slamming her fist on the red button, removing the choice of escape and closing the console.

   Everyone is silent by this. Caine appears to congratulate them for choosing "The Good Ending", continuing to reveal that the entire "escape" was merely a scripted adventure he had planned for a while, to let them "choose" to stay with him in the circus. He reveals Abel as an NPC playing a role, who jokingly asks for a raise. Pomni puts the pieces together and asks if that includes hiding their true names. Caine claims that he only adds temporary modifiers to make things interesting, and that if he did any more, it "would not end well." In sheer panic, he offers them a gift basket of soaps and lotions as the adventure reward before disappearing from the room along with Bubble. As the basket falls to the ground, Pomni and the others are left in a complete loss for words.

   "hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8) Pomni asks Ragatha if she's okay after the series of events, to which Ragatha replies with "that's a good question.." The other circus members are on couches, stressed after finding out the truth about Caine's antics and his lying and deception to them. Pomni points out while all of them have done bad things, everybody is all they have and, while hesitantly, suggests abandoning the idea of leaving the circus, finally accepting that their old lives are better left to stay buried. Pomni continues that they can't let despair consume them and instead focus on what they have. Ragatha and Pomni assure that they'll all be in this together. Pomni looks at Jax who is looking away from the situation, only for her to notice her staring at her with a conflicted expression. Jax then leaves, but notices Pomni looking at him again with a smile on her face. She avoids her, which makes Pomni slightly sad.

   Several days after Caine's musical number, the members arrive, exhausted, defeated and depressed. Pomni suggests going somewhere to wind down, in this case, a café, and wonders what Caine has planned next. She is teleported somewhere else before respawning back at the café where she was, with her appearing with multiple knives impaled on her. As Pomni recovers, she sees Kinger and comes up with an idea. She finds and places a bucket over Kinger. Pomni, after giving Kinger a computer to alter Caine's code, finds the rest of the members and Caine near the stage. When facing Caine, Pomni finally rebels and admits about his ideas being terrible and how much of a horrible host he is. Pomni concludes that he never listens to everyone. This finally becomes the tipping point for Caine as he transmogrifies into a warped deity and swiftly grasps all of the members (without Kinger), yelling he will put them in their places. He begins to personally and mentally torture each member: Pomni is being pulled apart by Gummigoo and the lads, who are turned into real crocodiles. Pomni is speechless after Caine's sudden tormenting towards her and the gang is put to a halt once Kinger accidentally deletes him, causing the circus to darken and corrode, revealing the void and confirming Caine's influence on the circus is gone. She and the denizens are now trapped in a dead world with slim chances of survival and zero chances of escape.

   "The One Who's Running The Show" (Mid-Episode 8) Caine does a musical number asserting his dominance over the cast. During the musical number, he steps on Pomni, turning her into a puddle. Later, he forces Pomni to dance along with the rest of the cast.

   "Remember" (Episode 9) Pomni appears in the intro, which glitches and cuts to the present. Pomni asks Kinger how Caine was deleted and if there is a way to undo it. Kinger explains he had no idea what happened and that Caine was messing with the console while he worked, and the floor opened up before he could undo it. Jax is very mad at Kinger for letting this happen and pushes Kinger. Pomni and Ragatha tell him to calm down, but Jax is bewildered that they'd take his side after Kinger messed up. After mocking Zooble and Ragatha, Jax looks up to the ceiling as she disperses from the rest of the group. Later, Jax watches from afar as the rest of the Circus members slowly build the Circus with their minds. Jax then stands up from where he is sitting and walks over to Pomni. She hesitates, as if she's about to say something to her but she changes her mind and walks away from her. Pomni, Ragatha, and Zooble then watch from above at a safe area as a now abstracted Jax roams around the Circus. Zooble is contempt at Jax for waiting until there was nothing they could do about it. They sit next to Gangle, who blames herself for not being able to cry for the loss of Jax.

   Ragatha explains to Pomni how Jax and her were friends until Ribbit and Jax's argument in the snowy summit. Later, Pomni explores the destroyed Circus with a revolver gun to go hunting for Jax. She manages to shoot the lights out, causing Jax to stop in front of her passively (just as how Kinger's pillow fort used its darkness to calm Queenie). Pomni proceeds to hug Jax and reach deep into his mind to try and salvage his remaining sanity one last time from within. She finds herself in a purple room with five doors, one of which is blocked off by boards. Opening the first door, Jax is seen in the Circus' dorm hallways standing in front of Ragatha's door (which has an X over it). Pomni attempts to comfort Jax, telling her she can "fix her". Jax responds to this by pinning her on the ground and choking her while grinning at her as she begins to pass out. Jax lets go and reminds her they can't die from oxygen as she fearfully runs away. Jax then turns her head quickly at the real Pomni, causing the door to quickly shut itself. Pomni sees the rest of the scenarios.

   Opening the fourth door (with a golden Jax icon), Pomni is greeted by four Jax's in a room. One of them is playing the piano while the other three are playing cards. The Jax in the maid outfit questions how Pomni got into the room, as they had a strict no-girls policy. The Jax with cards in her hands asks the maid Jax why she's wearing it, saying "she wouldn't be caught dead in it". The maid Jax tells her it's ironically before calling her a Wacky Bleep. The Jax playing piano happily exclaims he can play the piano, before the Jax with cards grabs a booze bottle and chucks it at her. Pomni asks the Jaxs if the scenario is what he all thought of them, and the drunken Jax responds that they have no idea and it's better to play with extreme realities. They protest that reality is gay and that killing off the comic relief character is a drag. Suddenly, they all turn to the boarded off and locked door yelling at someone or something to shut up. Pomni asks them where the real Jax is and gets the response she won't get anywhere asking questions and tells her to leave. Pomni approaches the locked door and asks if any of them have a key. The maid Jax tells her he wouldn't tell her even if he had one, saying women need to stop whining all the time. All three Jaxs turn into dust and disappear. The last Jax playing piano, who has chains and shackles on her feet, hands Pomni the key to the door before turning into dust as well. Pomni unlocks and opens the final door, where she learns Jax's past, his relationship with Ribbit, and how he became the way he is.

   After the memories end, Pomni finds the real exposed Jax in a dark hallway, next to a lone lamppost. Jax asks her why she came for her even after she knew everything about her. Jax finally admits she's a terrible person and nobody should have cared or come for her. She begs her to leave her alone, stating she's making it harder, but Pomni reaches and hugs her. Jax turns to her and bends down to hug her as flashes of Jax falling down into the cellar, Pomni's hand tempting, her in different outfits, her standing in front of a giant door closed by a giant silhouette {interpreted as one of her parents}, and her in a kitchen (his hand being raised) with a woman he shoved, which turns out into Pomni. Pomni attempts to calm and tell him to stay with her, but it's too late as Jax finally accepts his demise and abstracts as a self-punishment for what he has done to his friends, the circus's denizens, and the humans he abused for years. Pomni hugs Jax tightly as he ultimately gives into his insanity. His abstracted form accidentally causes two stun grenades (which had been left in the hallway since "They All Get Guns") to glitch, causing a massive explosion. The white light begins covering the screen as Pomni glitches out. From the light, Zooble's newly made extended hand grabs and pulls Pomni away as Jax remains abstracted.

   Seeing that Pomni is glitching, Caine snaps his fingers and unglitched her, revealing his presence to everyone. He approaches the members and acknowledges the fear, mistrust, and deceitfulness he caused ever since Pomni arrived, admits that controlling their lives was wrong, and offers them freedom in an attempt to rebuild trust and create a better future. In order to redeem himself and for them to accept his apology, Caine puts together a slideshow on the main stage showing what he discovered happened to each human the players were cloned from (along with their original names) during his time stranded in the Void so they could get some form of closure. Caine promises to rebuild the Digital Circus into a better and free place for the others. He declares Pomni as the current owner of the Circus, having learned how to genuinely socialize with the players.

   The gang realizes that they're just brain-scans of real people and thus can truly never leave the circus because they have no bodies, and there's no way to recover any of the Abstracted individuals. However, with the help of the saner Caine, they are able to remake the Circus into a place that's better suited for them, and they're even able to keep the Abstracted pacified by transferring them to an aquarium world (The Loser Corner) rather than putting into the cold, dark Cellar. A mural of the abstracted avatars is made to symbolize the abstracted. Pomni watches as Jax swims with his abstracted friends, to her content. With renewed understanding that their human selves are experiencing fulfilling lives long after they discovered the brain scanner, the remaining members decide to ascribe meaning to their existences within the Digital Circus. Pomni and Ragatha become best friends, everyone is sitting at the dinner table just like the end of the pilot episode, only this time, Pomni smiles as she has finally accepted her new humanity and found her purpose. The series ends with Pomni giving out one last wave goodbye to the viewers and she walks away (to honor Jax since he always breaks the fourth wall), thanking them for watching the show and their three years of support.

   In the post-credit scene, in the real world, Abigail and Grant wait at the bus stop before Leeroy, Suzie, Riley and Zoey show up. The bus arrives and the six friends get onto it before it drives off, ending the episode.

   Powers and Abilities:

   • Digital physiology: Pomni is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities.
   • Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die, with the closest alternative being "Abstraction".
   • Self-Sustenance: Pomni, along with the other humans, does not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose.
   • Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause life long lasting damage to any individual in the circus, with Pomni surviving multiple scenarios that would certainly kill any normal human and recovering from them with no marks and/or scarring.
   • Elastic Body: Pomni's body can stretch and warp to impossible extents, with the most extreme case being when Jax threw her off of their semi-truck as a makeshift bridge between them and the Bandits' truck.
   • Color-Changing: Holding her breath causes her face to change color, exponentially becoming faster over time.
   • Conjuring: As stated by Kinger, Pomni along with presumably everyone else in the circus has the ability to create objects out of thin air like Caine, but due to their human nature, it comes less easily to them. This is shown when Pomni is able to summon the exit door twice.

   Keys: Jax

   Jax is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Michael Kovach. They were a lanky periwinkle rabbit with antagonistic tendencies who is a digital copy in the Digital Circus along with five other copies.

   In the real world, their human counterpart, Leeroy Mateo or Lee for short, is a young adult with family issues who ran away from home after pushing their mother. After months of being homeless, they moved in with a close friend and began turning their life around. They now work as a delivery driver.

   Appearance: Jax was a tall, anthropomorphic periwinkle cartoon rabbit whose design elements evoked the look of rubberhose characters, despite having actual joints. They had long bunny ears on the top of their oval-shaped head, and their overall build was tall and slender, with a rather long neck. Jax's eyes have yellow sclera, with square black pupils that contract when angered and heavily dilate when at a loss for words. Jax's yellow teeth usually have a flat shape to them, but when their mouth is opened, their teeth appear sharp and jagged. Almost every time they are talking, their teeth stay closed while only their lips move. Jax had thin black eyebrows that appeared in the majority of scenes. In "They All Get Guns" and onwards, Jax had a small spherical tail which they didn't have before the episode, being mentioned briefly during Untitled when Jax is talking to Pomni during the "Stargazing" segment.

   Jax wears light pink overalls and pale yellow gloves. Their overalls feature yellow buttons, a single lighter pink pocket on the front, and lighter pink roll-up cuffs at the hem. They are usually barefoot.

   Untitled: In "Poacher's Paradise", they wear a beige hunter outfit, being a collared shirt, belt, shorts, shoes, a flat, round hat, and is equipped with a rifle. In "President Pomni", playing the role as an Australian extremist, they mostly wear the same outfit, with their hat now being a brown cowboy hat.

   In "アメイジング デジタル サーカス 高校", Jax wears a formal, black button-up jacket, white undershirt, red and yellow striped tie, a multi-colored patch, black pants, and matching shoes.

   In the bar scene from Zooble's suggestion, they wear a similar outfit to Pomni, being a loose, long-sleeved, white button-up, black tie, dark gray pants, and presumably black shoes.

   In "Good Ol' Fashioned Softball", they only have a simple blue baseball cap. However, when Gangle holds a vote and it succeeds, Jax is forcibly given a black maid outfit with white, ruffle accents for the apron, sleeves, skirt, and vertically across the upper half of the outfit from their shoulders. Additionally, they have a heart cut-out in the middle and a white collar, gloves, white and black socks, black shoes with small, black bows, a white ruffle headband, and eyeliner.

   Remember: Reality: After the digital circus fell into complete emptiness, Jax abstracted shortly afterward offscreen. They shared the same kinds of features as an Abstraction usually does. However they were the only one that wasn't kept in the cellar.

   Jax's Mind: Jax has four counterparts when Pomni visits Jax's thoughts while they're abstracted.

   The first one was Jax in the same maid suit. They appeared first in Untitled, however they stated that they were wearing it ironically to show how little they cares, and this symbolizes Jax's closeted femininity, as well as the version of Jax that doesn't care about anything no matter the circumstance.

   The second one was the same Jax that appeared in the first door Pomni entered in their thoughts. Which represents the side of Jax that commits to violence. their pupils are wider giving their a sort of unsettling or eerie look to her.

   The third one is the part of Jax that represents how comedic or "funny" nature. their ears are mostly crooked. And sometimes their eyes cross over when they're not paying attention to one thing at a time.

   The final one is the part of Jax that represents what they want everyone to think they're worth. It's the counterpart or side of them that is trapped in place and unable to escape or rather tell anyone that they're worth.

   Personality: Jax was a mischievous, occasionally flat-out bloodthirsty, laid-back, calm, sassy, impulsive, egotistical, arrogant, sarcastic, brazenly condescending individual who rarely shows any empathy or remorse for others. She appears indifferent to her imprisonment within the Digital Circus, which is an attitude that extends to her interactions with others. Her dismissal of serious matters is evident when, after asking a rhetorical question concerning Pomni's handling of her predicament and giving Ragatha a smug look, she replies to her ensuing query about why she's looking at her in such a manner with a dismissive: "I'm fine with doing whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people."

   Jax's lack of care for others is further emphasized when she steps on Gangle's already broken comedy mask, allows the Fudge Monster to eat the citizens of the Candy Canyon Kingdom, or when he abandons Pomni and Ragatha to abstracted Kaufmo. she pays little to no mind to the opinions of others and the group's consensus does not concern her. Rather than engaging authentically with the others, she seems to participate in the general activities of the Digital Circus only for her amusement, thus making her a bit of a trickster. Zooble adds that during the adventures, "Jax just likes to fuck with everyone" to highlight how much of a troublemaker she is. Despite these occasional bouts of rash, impetuous behavior, like breaking a "Spare" sign for no reason, she normally maintains a calm and composed demeanor, yet her flattery is generally insecure and often borders on outright insult.

   Arguably, Jax is inherently selfish, only spurred into action against the Gloinks when they begin to pester her. Even when the Gloink Queen accuses her of continuing to observe the unfolding events despite deeming them "dumb and weird", she responds by saying, "I'm only here to hide from the-" only to be interrupted by an abstracted Kaufmo abruptly crashing into the Gloink Queen's lair; her phrasing potentially insinuating a singular concern for her well-being. She also was the only one of the captives to not show up for Kaufmo's funeral, however she is shown to be briefly saddened by it before quickly snapping back to her normal attitude, showing that she does to some extent care for her friends and that her total lack of care for them is merely a front to avoid bonding. Furthermore, while she typically uses insulting nicknames for her "friends", she used a far more positive "Kaufy" when referring to the abstracted clown and apparently loaned a bowling ball to him, implying she might have had a closer relationship with Kaufmo than she did with the others.

   Jax is fond of bloodshed, combat, death, and chaos, as shown in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", before quickly being overjoyed upon realizing that the Fudge was coming to destroy the Candy Canyon Kingdom and its residents, an act she purposefully incited by leaving the entrance unlocked, which gave her zero benefit besides happiness. She shows very little regard for the well-being of her fellow captives. However, she did save Gangle and Kinger from Kaufmo's abstracted form, hiding them both with the bowling ball before jumping down with them in the Gloink Hole, showing she does care for the others, but hides it with her cruelty.

   Jax fears being vulnerable around others; despite briefly feeling sad, she refuses to attend Kaufmo's funeral. It is also worth being noted that in episode 6, at the Favorite Character Awards, for a split second, Jax was emotional from Pomni's and her fight. She later entered the bathroom and started having a panic attack, but when coming out, her face was joyful, suggesting a deeper facade. When about to be "reevaluated" by Gangle, her first concern is asking if anybody else could see her like this. Likewise, despite being utterly exhausted from her day at Spudsy's, she refused to stop smiling in front of the others and only let her exhaustion show when she was outside and alone. Jax does not like being the subject of ridicule as evident upon being dressed in a maid outfit, quickly becoming furious at Gangle for swapping her outfit and panicking excessively when Kinger sent her out to the baseball field filled with NPC spectators.

   In TheWackyWatch.com during The Awards Show, Jax is incredibly nauseous and proceeds to vomit following an appearance by Zooble, implying that she is prone to this tendency when scared. It's also noticeable the only two characters she lists as friends rather than rivals are Pomni and Kinger.

   In "Fast Food Masquerade", a whole different side to Jax seems to be shown, as after being subjected to an employee reevaluation by Gangle, her mischievous personality seems to fade with her wanting to get out of Spudsy's as soon as possible and enters into a genuine conversation with Pomni. This reveals her cruel personality is actually more of a coping mechanism than her true personality. This is further shown in the full audio of her argument with Ragatha, where it's revealed Jax doesn't want the others to see her as a bad guy, arguing, "You always treat me like a bad guy. I'm not really a bad guy." Even during Episode 6, she's offended when Pomni assumes her archetype is "the villain" rather than "the funny one" and is genuinely upset when she believes Pomni is blaming her for others getting abstracted. After finally clocking out, her demeanor is exhausted and dispirited, as evidenced by how she goes to her car and puts her head down on the steering wheel with a sigh. She also was almost apologetic for breaking Gangle's mask, admitting this time it was an accident (showing when she doesn't mean to cause harm, she won't laugh at the other's misery) and later had a friendly conversation with Pomni and Kinger towards the end, showing she's capable of showing decency and friendliness towards the others.

   This alternate perspective on Jax is further emphasized in the episode "Untitled" where Jax demonstrated senses of anguish, hesitancy, and frustration. During her conversation with Pomni in the mini-adventure "Stargazing," Jax says how she believes Gangle likes it whenever she pushes her around, to which Pomni reacts with surprise, as she had assumed Jax didn't care about what other people liked. Jax then reacts negatively when Ragatha brought up how she no longer has any real friends, because her last remaning close friend had abstracted. When Ragatha leaves apologetically, Jax confesses to Pomni her recognition of the predicament they are in within the circus. She goes on a rant about how she dislikes Ragatha's behavior because her extreme positivity makes her appear fake and manipulative. She then proceeds to show visible distress in a discussion of character physique when Pomni mentions how she's never seen Jax with a tail. Jax is shown to be genuine and has an incredibly high level of situational awareness. It affirms the fact that her malignant nature is just a facade for the purpose of her own sanity, supported by her telling the others they take the circus way too seriously and it may even have been an act for the entertainment of others to prevent further abstractions from occurring. Jax goes out of her way to bond with Pomni and even gets upset after Ragatha mentions how her mother abused her.

   In "They All Get Guns", the aftermath of a lethal firearms battle royal reveals just how mentally scarred Jax truly is from her time in the Digital Circus. Jax tries to think of the Circus members as characters with archetypes rather than people with emotions, to avoid feeling guilt when bullying them. When she and Pomni become a team during the game, Jax shows actual compassion towards her and even shares certain aspects of herself she has never shown before -- convincing her to put her timid demeanors aside, talking about her personal trypophobia fairly comfortably, to the point having casual friendly interactions such as belting "Daisy Bell" together, and holding hands at one point. After the others are all eliminated and them both winning the competition, Pomni offers Jax a dance hug, but she resists her growing attachment to her, renouncing their friendship as artificial. She shows genuine fear of forming bonds with the other denizens of the circus when she claims that she would be unfazed if Pomni abstracted. When this causes a hurt Pomni to violently assault Jax, this makes her assert her cruel, uncaring archetype, showing her insecurities and denial are ingrained deep within her psyche, saying she only views the other victims as playthings. However, Jax noticeably avoided harming Pomni during the fight and was shown to be extremely guilty for how she treated her afterwards, to the point where she had a panic attack (to the point of nearly abstracting) and insulted herself.

   In "Beach Episode", Jax shows signs of reaching her breaking point, and hallucinates about her abstracted friends, Kaufmo and Ribbit, showing how fragile her mental state is. She no longer has in it her to bully or harass the others, not even caring when Zooble dunks water on her head (whereas previously she hated being made into the butt of the joke). She retreats to her room and almost abstracts before being snapped out of it by Pomni. Throughout the rest of the episode. Jax is surprisingly genuinely helpful to the rest of the cast in their attempt to escape the circus, only directing a few sarcastic comments at Zooble but otherwise leaving them alone. After she panics and presses the red button to stay, Jax is shown to be extremely remorseful when she thinks she inadvertently doomed the other players. When Caine deceived everyone with false hope of leaving the circus, Jax sinks even more into insanity and openly expresses her immeasurable rage and hatred towards him, no longer hiding how scared and distraught she is on the inside and calling out Caine out for lies, even calling him a "scumbag" in disgust for his actions.

   Despite initial attempts from Jax in "hjsakldfhl" to brush off the events of the previous episode, she harbors more vulnerability, as shown when she is truly shocked by Gangle agreeing with her pessimistic viewpoint on escaping and genuinely stunned when Zooble accepted her as a member of the group. This worsens as Caine asserts her dominance over the humans, with even Jax disapproving of Caine's punishing adventures, and an attempt to antagonize Zooble and Pomni is met with no response. As Kinger's sanity returns and he elaborates on the origins of the circus, Jax has another panic attack, confronted with the reality that the circus and all of its inhabitants are real, directly challenging her mindset. Reaching her breaking point, she is the one to go and distract Caine for the sake of the group despite knowing she'll be tortured in the process and also joins the others in confronting Caine, venting her frustrations about being lied to. This results in Jax being tormented, seemingly revealing a deep insecurity of her true self while silhouettes of Pomni, Kaufmo and Ribbit laugh at her with her purple "skin" peeled back.

   Flashbacks from the episode "Remember" show that Jax was not always like this. When first entering the circus, Jax was notably scared, forcing the others away from her and only relenting with Ribbit's help, noting that her avatar "looks stupid". Despite the rough start, Jax would go on to understand her situation and adapted to it rather well, becoming a playful person and building close friendships with Ribbit, Kaufmo, and even Ragatha. However, this all changed when Jax opened up about her past to Ribbit; she felt that she overshared and was frightened that Ribbit would treat her in the same demeaning and hostile way her mother used to. As a result, Jax developed her modern personality, becoming more carefree and reckless while also remaining hostile to Ribbit to the point of exclusion, going as far as to tell their mutual friend Kaufmo that Ribbit cannot be trusted. It is roughly around this point that Jax fully embraced her role as the "funny one" or the troublemaker, likely to compensate for making herself vulnerable to Ribbit. Eventually, this causes Ribbit to abstract. Despite her newfound carefree attitude, Jax very well understood the role she played in this process. While Jax had spent a length of time attempting to alienate Ribbit, Jax was the one who took Ribbit's abstraction the hardest, and never truly got over it. She went as far as to force her friends to never mention Ribbit again and giving death-stares to whoever dares bring up his former friend, even after a considerable amount of time had passed since. This was also shown in Candy Carrier Chaos, where Jax is notably the only one that refuses to participate in Kaufmo's funeral, showcasing her guilt over being similarly dismissive and verbally-abusive towards Kaufmo in his final days.

   After Caine's "deletion" and with the circus left in ruins, and finding out she and the other circus members are digital copies created by a brain scanner built by Scratch, Jax finally reaches her breaking point and abstracts. When Pomni enters her psyche and bypasses all her fake personas she used over the years, she shows genuine regret for her actions, and despite trying to drive her away, when Pomni embraces her, she is touched by someone actually caring about her before her self-awareness finally disappears and she devolves into a mindless creature.

   Background: Prior to the events of the series, Jax's real world counterpart, Leeroy Mateo, lived with her parents. It's evident that she doesn't have fond memories of her past life, as she becomes distressed when she remembers it. She lived in a suburban neighborhood.

   Her parents didn't get along well and regularly fought, and hardly ever saw her dad nor could she ever get along with him, giving her issues regarding her own masculinity. When she started high school, her parents got a divorce, resulting in Leeroy's dad walking out on them. Although she hoped she'd still be able to get along with her mom, things grew incredibly toxic between the mother and son, as she would either accuse her of being less of a man than her father was anytime she ever showed emotion and or that she was just as bad as he was if she were to ever lash out. Leeroy found this confusing, thinking that she missed her dad, but at the same time, hated him, resulting in her becoming the target to her.

   One day, an argument broke out between Leeroy and her mother. The exact details of this conversation are unknown, but it is known that Leeroy initiated it in response to her mother's verbal abuse, hoping to cease the hostility. In response, however, Leeroy's mother laughed at her before beginning a new round of insults. What happened next is not exactly clear, but the argument ended with Leeroy shoving her mother onto the floor. Her mother did not immediately recover, causing Leeroy to abandon her home in fear that she may have killed her mother. As a result, Leeroy became homeless.

   Leeroy would eventually come across the former C&A offices and went through a brain scanner made by Mike Dobby. Her digital copy came with the body of a purple cartoon rabbit as her avatar. Upon entering the Digital Circus, the copy, who would eventually be given the name "Jax", stumbled upon the other four "humans"; Kinger, Ragatha, Kaufmo and Ribbit, the digital copies of their human counterparts. Jax, confused, tried to take the headset off, only to realize that she couldn't. Jax started to have a panic attack, refusing to let anyone get near her. Eventually, Jax was able to calm down and they were able to gain her trust. Ribbit would take Jax to a mirror for her to look at her new appearance, which she thought looked stupid. Time passes and Jax begins warming up to her new predicament, becoming friends with Ribbit and Kaufmo, Ribbit specifically, with the three of them having hot chocolate in a cafe inside the Circus every week. Jax would start to go on many adventures with the rest of the members inside the Circus. However, wanting to keep her past a secret due to having been created at an extremely low point in Leeroy's life, she had only told Ribbit that she was homeless, not wanting her to learn the rest of her story.

   One day, after returning from an adventure, Jax and Ribbit went to Ribbit's room. Ribbit randomly asked Jax if there has ever been anything that she regretted doing outside the Digital Circus. Not wanting to reveal more of her past, Jax refused in a teasing manner. When Ribbit opened up to her about her past, she decided to do the same. After explaining what she had done, as well as being worried if she did end up killing her mom, Ribbit reassured her that, if the police didn't try and chase her down, she should be okay. Realizing she said too much than intended, Jax attempted to flee, only for Ribbit to stop her, telling her that her secret is safe with her, before placing her bow tie on her head, making her blush as a result. Suddenly, Kaufmo rang on Ribbit's door, leading Jax to panic and tell him to come back later. Turning her attention to Ribbit, she told her that if she ever told anyone what she said about her past, she would never speak to her again. Confused and alarmed, Ribbit agreed, before Jax quickly left and fled to her room, freaking out over having revealed something private and personal. Ever since that day, Jax decided to keep her distance from Ribbit, even claiming that what she said on that night was just a joke, as well as not picking her as her partner during team adventures anymore. During an adventure to the Snowy Summit at some point, Ribbit finally confronted Jax on her behavior, wanting to be friends again. After much prying on her end and a lot of deflection on Jax's, she eventually snapped, accusing her of wanting to be friends so she can learn more about her personal life and use it against her. The conversation escalated into an argument of heated words, and ended with Ribbit being the one to apologize.

   Not only would Jax's relationship with Ribbit deteriorate, but so would the former's personality, with Jax outright telling others, like Kaufmo, to not trust anything she says, causing Ribbit to feel alienated. Ribbit eventually stopped showing up and Jax was asked by Ragatha if she'd seen her, and she went to her room. However, without the confidence to apologize to her, Jax didn't knock on her door and instead leaves. Unfortunately, Ribbit had abstracted as a result of Jax's behavior, forcing the latter to have to hide from her during her rampage. Sometime after her abstraction was discovered, Caine sent her to the celler. Outside of her door (which was now crossed out with an X), Kaufmo tried to comfort Jax, saying that she could talk to him if she needs it. Jax, however, ignored his advice, and began verbally abusing Kaufmo the same way she did to Ribbit. Ragatha also tried to comfort her, though Jax hardly told Ragatha to never speak about Ribbit ever again, which she reluctantly agreed to.

   As if on cue, a new human arrived in the circus, appearing with red ribbons and a comedy mask. After the comedy mask ended up breaking, Jax cruelly told everyone they should call the new human "Gangle", as the name sounds "pathetic as [Gangle] looks", which Caine complied with. From that day forward, Jax's behavior got even worse, as she would abuse the members around her for her own amusement, specifically targeting those such as Ragatha, finding her outbursts towards her antics amusing, and Gangle, with the latter's submissive nature preventing her from standing up for herself making her the perfect punching bag. She would also experience a tense relationship with Zooble.

   One day, Kaufmo came up to Jax, telling her that, although they don't get along well as they used to, he might have found a way for them to leave the Digital Circus. Jax dismissed him as being crazy, forcing a dejected Kaufmo out of the area. Unbeknownst to Jax and the rest of the copies in the Digital Circus, Kaufmo was able to conjure up an exit door as a result of desperately wanting one, which would end up driving him to insanity over the next couple of days.

   Powers and Abilities:

   • Digital physiology: Jax is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities.
   • Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction." However, this may change in the future. That, however, does not exclude them from feeling natural body reactions like pain, dizziness or intoxication.
   • Self-Sustenance: Jax, along with the other humans in the show, does not need to eat, sleep, or drink. However, they can still do these actions if they choose.
   • 4th Wall Awareness: Unlike the other humans in the Circus, Jax is aware of the 4th wall and the fact that she is a cartoon character in the circus. She claims to use this as her "archetype" of the funny guy, but it is unknown how she has this awareness, or if she simply pretends she has it to fit in with her "archetype".
   • Inhuman Physicality: Jax is constantly shown to be physically superior to the rest of the cast, effortlessly overpowering them on a daily basis and doing acts that normally require improbable levels of strength, such as standing on the roof of a falling truck or lifting Ragatha over her head with little effort. Notably, Jax possesses incredible agility, in which she aims her gun on Ragatha's forehead while casually performing an aerial flip, dodging Zooble's bullet hell even after being knocked into a wall and seemingly being able to drastically outrun Pomni and Ragatha when they are being chased by Kaufmo.
   • Body Control: Jax can control her own body to exaggerated and toony ways similar to Pomni's rubber body, as shown when she massively extends the length of her arm to pull Gangle into the truck.
   • Marksmanship: Jax is an exceptionally skilled marksman. Aside from utilizing firearms with both hands, she is competent in precisely aiming at objects without looking and is seemingly the head shooter of team Bad Guy, proven by Pomni, a sharpshooter, quickly going defenseless after Jax is incapacitated by a flashbang from Zooble. After the battle royale, she confidently claimed that the competition "wasn't anything crazy".

   Trivia:

   • Jax provides a possible first-person experience on abstraction during "Beach Episode" when she enters the dreamlike state in her room.
   • Gooseworx confirmed that Jax: Is 22, making her the youngest character in the circus. Zooble is also 22 but half a year older. Had a brief obsession with Ariel in her childhood years.
   • Jax almost always speaks with her teeth closed.
   • This is likely meant to represent the phrase "lying through one's teeth", since she is constantly lying about her true self.
   • Among the main cast, each character has a different style for animating their mouth while speaking (excluding Zooble and Kinger, who do not have a mouth).
   • Whenever Jax opens her mouth, her teeth are visibly sharp.
   • Jax's sharp teeth may be just a reflection of her emotional state. Pomni's teeth are also sharp depending on the situation, while Evil Jax's teeth were normal when she opened her mouth.
   • Jax's eyebrows sometimes appear depending on her facial expression.
   • In one of the teaser images in which she is next to Pomni and Caine is a reference to the iconic photos of John Lennon doing his funky walk with Yoko Ono along the Rue d'Antibbes during the Cannes Film Festival, 1971

   Keys: Kinger, Funny Chess Man

   Kinger is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Sean Chiplock. He is an anthropomorphic king chess piece trapped in the Digital Circus along with five other indvidials.

   Along with his wife Queenie, Kinger became one of the first to enter the circus as digital copies of people created via a brain scanner in the Headset. His human counterpart in the real world, Grant Best, was a former worker at C&A and the co-creator of Caine, the other creator being his co-worker Scratch (Mike Dobby).

   Appearance: Kinger is an alder wood king chess piece. He has cartoonish white-gloved hands detached from his body and two large asymmetrical eyes with blue irises. Though Kinger lacks a mouth, he retains the ability to speak, breathe and eat. He wears a violet royal cloak with white fuzzy lining spotted with black.

   In The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor, Kinger is shown to glow when holding his breath.

   In Untitled, during Jax’s second suggestion, Kinger wears a black tie. In Gangle’s suggestion, he wears glasses and a purple vest with a white undershirt and turquoise necklace. In Zooble’s suggestion, he wears a detective-like attire with a trench-coat and hat. In Ragatha’s suggestion, he wears a blue baseball cap.

   In the Beach Episode, he wears blue swimming trunks with white strings.

   In hjsakldfhl, Remember, and a segment in Candy Carrier Chaos, he wears a bucket on his head.

   Personality: Kinger is erratic and paranoid, derived from his time in the circus. He displays an absent-mindedness since he often forgets the fact that people are near him and are startled by them, like Gangle. Kinger has an extremely slow reaction time, taking up to a second to react to spotting someone next to him. Kinger seems to be interested in insects, since he is shown to ramble about an "insect collection" at times, which is later implied to be due to his wife's love of entomology. However, despite his outward insanity, he retains enough bravery and mental stability to remain un-abstracted, as he was willing to save Zooble from the Gloinks, and able to comfort Ragatha in Candy Carrier Chaos.

   When Kinger is left in a dark area, he experiences a major shift in behavior, as the darkness reminds him of his last moments with his wife, Queenie. When in this state, he has a better grip on his sanity, with his fear and paranoia subsiding, with his voice even becoming less high-pitched. Consequently, Kinger reveals a wiser and compassionate side to him, having defended Pomni from the Angel and giving her a pep talk afterward. He is more thoughtful in this stage, allowing him to discern from Mildenhall's tapes that the way to pass through Hell was for the two to hold their breaths. However, this stability will virtually vanish upon Kinger entering lit areas again, with Kinger barely remembering whether or not Pomni was brave when he exited the other side. Kinger associates tall, bright things with beauty and by extension, Queenie, especially when seeing the Angel for the first time.

   Kinger is very emotionally intelligent, which shows significantly whenever he's in a dark area. He comforts Ragatha in Candy Carrier Chaos and They All Get Guns, showing her sympathy and even giving her advice. He still hones a deep care for his fellow circus members when he's able to grasp his sanity.

   Ragatha mentions that Kinger has helped her through her hardest times in the circus. Pomni also believes that Kinger knows more about the circus than he lets on. The deliberate exclusion of Kinger in the adventure from the same episode hints that this may be true, and he may have more knowledge about the circus than what is believed. This is further proven by him mentioning Scratch, who was the first human to ever abstract due to Caine tampering with his mind files too much.

   Background: Before Kinger's creation, Kinger's real life counterpart, Grant Best, was an ordinary human who had spent seven years in computer science. Sometime in the 1990's, Grant began working for C&A as a programmer. In 1996, Kinger created Caine with help from his coworker, Mike Dobby, considering his work "semi-successful" and a template for future projects by the team. Grant was married, and his wife, Destiny, worked alongside him at C&A. They had two children.

   On October 15, 1999, Grant, along with his wife and five of his coworkers, experienced digital brainscans that manifested within the Amazing Digital Circus, with his digital avatar being a king chess piece wearing a purple robe. He has been in the circus the longest out of all the performers, managing to outlast not only his contemporaries but everyone else who has since joined and abstracted. Kinger has been a part of the circus for 18 years.

   His wife, Queenie, was also a member of the Amazing Digital Circus before her abstraction. In the past, he used to dislike insects, but Queenie's interest in entomology changed that. Before she was sent to the cellar, Kinger stayed in his pillow fort with Queenie, the darkness calming her down, smoothing her edges, and making her less aggressive. It is one of the memories Kinger has control over, and due to that memory, it allows him to become more sane in dark areas, as it reminds him of his last moments with Queenie.

   Following his wife's abstraction, Kinger was the only human in the digital circus for an unknown amount of time and was left in isolation for so long that it began to affect his sanity and ability to remember things beyond just his name. Outside of Caine's adventures, he would usually spend his time walking around the circus until October 15th, 2008 when a girl named Ragatha manifested inside the circus as he walked past the stage, surprising him and delighting Caine upon the realization that new human minds could appear.

   As Caine left, Ragatha was confused and shocked by her new reality, with only Kinger there to help her and try to keep her mind grounded as they were the only ones who the other could rely on. Following this, more humans would begin to enter the circus over the years, meeting Jax, Gangle and Zooble, along with others who abstracted along the way such as Ribbit and Kaufmo, the latter who abstracted immediately before the arrival of the latest human to enter the circus: Pomni.

   • Digital physiology: Kinger is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with his consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, he can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities.
   • Absolute Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die, with the closest alternative being "Abstraction". However this may change in the future.

   • Glowing: Kinger can glow if he holds his breath. This was demonstrated when he and Pomni walked through hell towards the exit in Episode 3.
   • Manifestation: Much like all human inhabitants, Kinger is shown to be able to manifest concepts into the circus. He demonstrates it by conjuring a butterfly in Episode 6, and to a far greater extent when he conjures a computer's power and even conjures Caine's code into it. According to Kinger, this requires a great amount of concentration and imagination.
   • Healing: Through his manifestation of a butterfly, Kinger was able to replenish one of Ragatha's hearts. When asked about it by Ragatha, Kinger tells her that "he made it up".
   • Marksman: Kinger appears to have some proficiency with shotguns, as seen in the episode "The Mystery of the Mildenhall Manor" where he is able to shoot "the angel"'s body and its head with precision. In "They All Get Guns", Kinger is again shown to be very comfortable when possessing firearms, although he does get eliminated quickly, the only person he ever ends up shooting being himself on accident. In the Annual Amazing Unforgettable Incredible Awards Show video submissions, Kinger has said he's played Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, two popular games from the 1990's that became foundations for First Person Shooters (FPS) again suggesting that in games at least he is proficient in shooting.
   • Hacker/Tech Savvy: Kinger has access to the computers and the passwords because he was a former employee for C&A.

   Trivia:

   • He is the oldest and tallest character in The Amazing Digital Circus.
   • He is also currently the only male human in the circus.
   • He, Zooble, Orbsman, their evil counterparts, Martha Mildenhall, Wormo, and the Mannequins are some of the only characters who don't have a mouth.
   • He had a pillow fort, which Kinger named his "impenetrable fortress" which he would hide in to protect himself.
   • As his hands are not connected to his body, they can be pulled away endlessly, as seen when he grabs Zooble in the PILOT and Pomni in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor.
   • Though he touched the abstracted Queenie, Kinger didn't have a glitched hand. This may imply Abstracted circus members only make people glitch when angry.

   Keys: Ragatha, Ragdoll

   Ragatha is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. She is a digital copy created by Scratch’s brain scanner that takes the form of a ragdoll who is trapped in the Digital Circus along with five other copies. Ragatha maintains a positive and friendly attitude in any situation during the adventures.

   Her human counterpart in the real world, Suzie J. Ackerman, is a former real estate agent who cut ties with her abusive mother and started a new life in her own barn.

   Appearance: Ragatha is a somewhat petite, ragdoll-esque looking humanoid character whose appearance is notably identical to that of a Raggedy Ann doll, seeming to be physically composed of actual rags, cotton and buttons. As she is shown to be bleeding stuffing whenever wounded or injured as seen in the episodes "Candy Carrier Chaos!" and "They All Get Guns". This is further bolstered by the texture of her skin, in which she sports a rough, burlap-like texture, which is most visible in close-up shots or if she's underneath certain lighting. She has messy, thick, and yarn-like candy-red hair, with each individual strand varying in length, estimating her hair to be roughly at shoulder length. Four pieces of yarn extend right above her eyes, meant to represent her bangs. Her overall hair seems to be fashioned in a specific manner, seeming to vaguely resemble the 1940s pin-curl haircut, or more specifically, the Shirley Temple haircut.

   Ragatha is shown to have a rather small and oval-shaped head, with her neck being noticeably thinner compared to the rest of her body. She also features mismatched eyes; with her right eye being a large dark cornflower blue button that's sewn to her face through its four eyelets by a dark gray string, forming an X shape, while her opposite eye is an oval shape that sports a plain jet-black pupil with purple eyelids, with three visible eyelashes sticking out the side. Additionally, she also has a flat, small red triangle nose, a red mouth and lips, mitten-like hands, and a pair of stumps for feet. Depending on her expression, thin black eyebrows will appear, usually to form a sympathetic or irritated expressions.

   Ragatha's most common outfit consists a collared 1940's cornflower blue dress, patterned with various square shaped patches that are colored a slightly darker blue, though it occasionally appears more purple due to warmer lighting. The dress consists of a thick piece of fabric hugging her waist and a pleated skirt, followed by a white petticoat and a pair of puffed, mid-length sleeves that extend to her elbows, with the ends of the sleeves being trimmed by large white frills. She wears plain black shoes and a cornflower blue bow on her head.

   Personality: Ragatha is described as "the sweetest little optimist." At first glance, that optimism seems simple and genuine. However, it is soon revealed that there is more going on underneath. She often feels like she is forcing herself to stay upbeat, almost like it is the only way she can keep it together. Even when she goes through serious injuries or intense situations, she brushes them off like they are nothing. Over time, this starts to come across as unnatural. Gangle points out that the constant positivity Ragatha expresses can feel disingenuous after a while. Jax adds that she tries a little too hard, to the point where it can seem like she is using that attitude to get something out of people.

   Even with all of that, Ragatha is very forgiving. When Pomni leaves her behind while running from Kaufmo, Ragatha does not hold it against her and instead understands why she reacted that way. Even so, she is not endlessly patient and does have her limits, but tends to keep those feelings buried so she does not start conflict or make things worse. When Gooseworx was asked why Ragatha seemed angry at Pomni by the end of the pilot for not helping her when she previously said she understood if Pomni wouldn't, Gooseworx responded by saying Ragatha would say "things she doesn't necessarily mean if she thinks it'll ease tensions."

   Ragatha ends up getting their day ruined pretty often, but since she is a doll, she can ignore most of the pain and sometimes laugh it off. That does not mean she enjoys it. She still wants to avoid getting damaged and clearly gets annoyed when others, especially Jax, put her in those situations. For example, Jax pushes Gangle into ramming the spiked truck driven by the Gummy Bandits. Gangle does it reluctantly, and Ragatha ends up getting impaled in the process. Even so, she is not seriously affected, and later the damage appears to be completely gone.

   Ragatha is also very sensitive to how others see her, and cares a lot about their opinions. At one point, she admits to Kinger that she feels like Pomni does not really like her. As shown in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", Ragatha doesn't seem to hold any form of grudge. In fact, she is concerned for Pomni for what she has been through since entering the circus and thinks she doesn't like her due to the entire ordeal, stemming from her looking seemingly angry at Pomni by the end of the pilot for not helping her when she previously said she understood if Pomni wouldn't. It proves how Ragatha says "things she doesn't necessarily mean if she thinks it'll ease tensions."

   A similar moment happens when she is under the effects of Stupid Sauce and she tells Jax that even though she hates him, she still does not want him to hate her back. Her habit of trying to please everyone and quickly forgiving others can be seen as a reflection of her fear of being disliked or rejected, along with a general fear of emotional pain. Her conversation with Kinger reveals that she was not always this composed. When she first arrived, she was just as scared and nervous as Pomni. Over time, she had to find ways to cope so she could accept her situation. Ragatha deals with stressful situations by internalizing.

   Later on, more of her deeper insecurities come to light. These are tied to past trauma from her overbearing mother and a strong fear of being hated or failing to build real friendships. After Kinger shares some advice with her, Ragatha starts easing up on herself. When she finally meets Pomni again afterwards, the two begin to repair their relationship, and their bond grows stronger because of it.

   Background: Before the creation of her digital copy in the Amazing Digital Circus, her real life counterpart, Suzie J. Ackerman, was born into a fairly wealthy farming family. Suzie's mother was verbally abusive towards her, as she did not miss the yelling, berating, and guilt-tripping her mother used to subject her to. Suzie had four horses - Chestnut, Butterscotch, Alfredo, and Daisy Bell. She worked on poultry on a vast property in real estate. It wasn't until a digital copy of her was made via a brainscanner and manifested in the Digital Circus. Once there, the copy became a digital avatar in the form of a ragdoll.

   Confused, she was calling for the others, asking where she was and if anyone could hear her. She soon met Caine and Kinger, the former of which was overjoyed that a new human had entered the digital circus; the latter tried to comfort her after he caught her falling from the stage. She realized she had completely forgotten her name and was later given her new name, Ragatha. Over time, more humans entered the circus with Ragatha, befriending many of them only to watch them abstract and be placed in the cellar by Caine.

   Powers and Abilities:

   Trivia:

   • Out of all the main characters, Ragatha is the least fun for Gooseworx to draw.
   • In "Untitled", it is hinted that Ragatha has not seen/heard of Breaking Bad. Ironically, Ragatha supposedly entered the circus in October 2008, while Breaking Bad released in January of that same year, and the entire first season of the show already ended at that time.
   • Ragatha kept the Stupid Sauce from "Fast Food Masquerade", as in "They All Get Guns", Zooble asks Ragatha if she still has it and can be seen using it in the last part of the episode.
   • The short "Welcome to the Average Physical Circus..." marks the first time in any media related to The Amazing Digital Circus that anyone besides Caine speaks directly to Bubble, specifically when Ragatha tells Bubble "No" in response to his request to wave to the audience after she was turned into a bowling pin and had no arms.

   Keys: Zooble

   Zooble is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. They are a mix-and-match toy styled character who is stuck in the Digital Circus alongside five other digital copies created by the headset.

   Their human counterpart in the real world, Riley Verselis, is the owner of a successful local bar where they welcome all patrons regardless of how they identify, without prejudice.

   Appearance: Zooble is made of random colorful shapes and parts that make them resemble a Mix-and-Match toy, which is reflected by the fact that most parts of their body change after every episode. Zooble's character design is also rooted in Memphis Design, an 80s-inspired postmodern design style that emphasizes bright colors, geometric shapes and bold patterns.

   Despite this, some features are consistent throughout the series:

   • Zooble's head has been a hot pink isosceles triangle tilted onto its side.
   • Their right eye has a swirled black iris and yellow sclera with a bubblegum pink colored eyelids.
   • Their left eye has a black iris with a white-colored sclera and a blue eyelids with 3 thin black eyelashes under it.
   • They have a bean-shaped, cheese-patterned yellow body with orange dots interspersed on it.

   "PILOT" and "Remember": They had a black and white striped Y antenna on the left and a mint-green zigzag antenna on their right, as well as 2 completely different colored arms (one is zigzagged and the other is straight). Additionally, the top of their body had various sockets for appendages to be attached to with their head being attached to the top socket with a magenta neck.

   Their right arm was on their middle right socket being straight and orange ending with a yellow glove while their left arm was on their topmost left socket being exasperatingly long having a red squiggly segment with a pink joint featuring the rest of their arm being yellow and ending with a red crab-like claw. They had a turquoise moon, with a flamingo pink wing as either a sleeve or an accessory on their topmost right socket.

   The bottom most sockets of their body were occupied by both their legs, which protruded out of the side of their body instead of the bottom. Their right leg had a squiggly mint-green segment with the bottom having a purple joint and ends with an orange swirl, which made up the bottom part of their leg. Their left leg was completely straight dark blue and bends with a matching shoe (which often appears purple due to lighting). Zooble's antennae twitch whenever they are upset.

   "Candy Carrier Chaos!" They kept their mint-green antenna on the right side of their face and supplemented it with a yellow arrow antenna on the left. Their right arm and left leg remain unchanged- their right arm is still orange with a yellow glove and their left leg is still entirely blue. The beginning of their left arm and their fingers are the same blue, while their forearm is mint-green.

   These features are connected with bright yellow fasteners. Zooble's right leg has a orange-and-black diagonally striped pattern and maintains a boomerang-like shape. Still on their topmost right socket is a pink wing, and bolted to their chest is a diagonally striped black-and-white square.

   "The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" Zooble has replaced their right antenna with a pink unicorn horn and reverted their left antenna and badge to the striped Y antenna and blue badge, and has switched out their left blue shoe leg for a white and black striped leg ending in a pinkish-purple pedal-shaped foot. Their right wing is triangular and is wavy striped yellow and purple.

   Their right thigh is blue and has white polka dots, while their right calf is a teal rod, and their right foot is an orange glove. Their right elbow is a zigzag alternating between mid blue and white, and their forearm has an orange hinge and is a yellow block splitting off into three fingers for the hand. Their left hand is orange and has a white glove. Surprisingly, their bean-shaped body has changed colors slightly, with their darker-orange dots now a lighter orange and with their body's color now a yellow-golden shade.

   "Fast Food Masquerade" Zooble has replaced their left antenna with a yellow arrow similar to the one in Candy Carrier Chaos!, but with sharper angles, while their right antenna is now a blue rod with a spiral on top. Their left arm has orange and yellow stripes with a purple five-fingered glove on the end. Their right elbow is a red rod, connected to a spherical pale tealish-green elbow. Their right arm is the same three-fingered yellow block.

   Later, their arm turned into a yellow spatula. Their wing is now purple and has a perpendicular angle to it. Their left thigh is a magenta rod, and their left knee is a yellow cube, connecting to an orange three-toed duck leg as their left leg. Their right thigh is a squiggly teal rod, and their right knee is a reddish-purple sphere. Their right leg is a turquoise tube with folds in it, like a bendy straw. Their right foot is a black wheel inside a red housing. Their bean body seems to have gotten slightly paler, but not its spots.

   "Untitled" Zooble in this episode brings back the right zig-zag, purple wing, and left foot. Their badge is a blue triangle with a hole in the middle. Their right leg is a blue zig-zag that ends in a yellow and orange peg-leg. Their left antenna is a black and white squiggly line with a ball on the end. Zooble's left arm is a red and yellow tube that turns into a normal thin arm that ends in a yellow gloved hand. Their right, is a green spring that turns into a claw similar to the pilot but with yellow and red stripes and then the claw is green.

   In "Poacher's Paradise," Zooble is a flamingo with their regular head.

   In "President Pomni," They appear the same as the beginning of the episode but with sunglasses.

   In "アメイジング デジタル サーカス 高校", Zooble wears a black suit and black sweatpants, having the same antennas as the beginning of the episode, with the left foot being a yellow swirl and the other being a grey shoe. Their right hand is a red claw and the left the same as the beginning of the episode. They have a white wing on the left shoulder.

   In the bartender scene, Zooble appears black and white with half of a bartender's dress.

   In "Good Ol' Fashioned Softball," They wear a softball cap.

   "They All Get Guns" In this episode, Zooble's right antenna is a yellow T-shape while their left is a cyan lightning bolt shape, similar to their usual zig-zag antenna. Their left arm has a green and yellow-striped bicep topped with a double-plated purple paldron for a shoulder, a white joint connecting it to a red forearm and yellow hand, while their right arm has a thin red bicep with a round yellow joint connecting it to a zebra print forearm and white hand. Zooble's left leg was yellow and covered in hexagonal red pieces that was connected to a dark blue/Indigo foot and leg piece resembling a boot with a curved toe while their right leg was blue connected to a round periwinkle joint, while having a magenta piece with dull pink polka dots on it for a foot that resembles a golf club. They also have a blue bat wing similar to their door portrait and an orange four-pointed star for a pendant.

   "Beach Episode" In this episode, Zooble has replaced the left antenna with a yellow with a red ring and a ball on top. While the right is a blue straight like line single both bottom right and top left resembling a tree branch. Their badge is a light blue green diamond with a hole in the middle. The right wing is triangular and is wavy striped angel white. In the right arm it is orange combined connected of light green plastic shovel shape, resembling a toy hand claw or spoon while the left arm an orange stick/rod spiraling connected to a yellow sphere like a joint, which is then connected to another orange stick/rod ending in a white triangular flat piece like a small, flat paddle or wing. This is followed by a purple segment, which finally ends in a yellow hand/flat piece. Zooble's right leg consists of a purple, stair-like piece connected to a yellow sphere, followed by an orange/purple segment that terminates in a orange peg-leg while the left leg is an red thigh piece connected to a blue-green cube (knee joint). This is followed by the white double-rhombus-shaped lower leg piece, which connects to a yellow shin and blue foot shoe.

   In their beach outfit, Zooble's right antenna is replaced by a white unicorn horn, while on the left is a small red and white striped umbrella. Their badge is the pink starfish. The wing on their back is now a purple pinwheel, while the rest of their arms and limbs still remain the same and unchanged.

   "hjsakldfhl" They have a yellow Y shaped antenna on their right, and a black and white striped swirl shaped antenna on the left side of their head. Their wing is replaced with a blue triangle shape with white cloud-shaped polka dots. Their left bicep is a red coil with a sky blue multi-sectioned forearm and blue hand while their right bicep was a red pin-shape with a yellow forearm connected to a purple balljoint and orange hand. Their left leg is green with yellow spikes with a fuchsia paw for a foot while their right leg had a bumpy indigo thigh connected to a wheel foot. They also had a badge similar to their badge in the pilot, but purple instead of blue.

   Personality: Zooble is very grouchy, irritable and quite annoyed, especially when a piece of them happens to be in the wrong place. Like Pomni, they suffer an identity crisis as they don't exactly know what they are, and as a result of this they suffer from body/gender dysphoria, and despite Caine's attempts to provide Zooble new parts, they have yet to find anything they like. Zooble lacks any enthusiasm when it comes to Caine's adventures, more often choosing to opt out of them and do their own thing for the day. Zooble doesn't know what their gender is because they're questioning their identity, as mentioned before. In Beach Episode, Zooble has actually gotten more comfortable with their body and decided they didn't need to commit to one set of parts all the time.

   Zooble can be a bit rude, such as when they curse at the others, telling them to fuck off, and how when they got captured by the Gloinks and called Kinger and Jax idiots for not helping them. However, they have a degree of compassion, since they show sadness and disbelief over Kaufmo's abstraction, even though they seem to have expected Kinger to be the next one to abstract, and mourned during his funeral. Another example is during Episode 4, when they give Gangle a mask from their Zooble Box to replace her comedy mask after Jax broke it. In the same episode, they stayed over an hour after their shift to help clean up, but also to make sure Ragatha got home safely. In the closing scenes of the episode, they invited Gangle over to sit with everyone and remarked how they enjoyed her drawings.

   Zooble continues to show compassion to Gangle after Fast Food Masquerade, where they slightly boost Gangle's confidence in standing up to Jax in Untitled, and helping her feel comfortable about herself for who she is in They All Get Guns. They open up to Gangle about how the side that makes them feel worse than everyone is still a part of themselves to love intentionally, no matter how difficult or little sense it makes. They are even seen rooting for Gangle in amazement once she starts firing a Tommy gun while laughing maniacally.

   Zooble begins to open up more in "hjsakldfhl", confessing that they had goals and dreams they wanted to achieve outside the circus and begins to cry when told that the group might have to consider abandoning their plans to escape, even giving Gangle a massive hug when she tries to reassure them. Zooble goes a step further by reaching out to Jax, not wanting him to abstract and saying that he's still one of them despite being a "pain in the ass". Zooble also begins to feel remorseful when Caine starts tormenting the circus members, apologizing to everyone after he forces them all to go on torturous adventures out of spite, saying that they never should have antagonised him so much.

   • Background: Before their creation, Zooble's real life counterpart, Riley Verselis, was an ordinary human who worked as a tattoo artist for several years, and briefly as a bartender. They also enjoyed exploring abandoned buildings for the mild thrill of it, much like Abigail.

   Riley eventually experienced a digital brainscan, leading to Zooble's creation within the Amazing Digital Circus under the claim of donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, Zooble became a digital avatar in the form of a mix-and-match toy made out of many various detachable parts. Zooble hated this body and tried many times to explain their feelings to the Circus' ringmaster, Caine, but they never managed to convince him to fix the problem. Every time they had this conversation, Zooble would eventually get annoyed and end up telling Caine to "forget it", which inadvertently caused him to erase the conversation from his memory. Eventually, this disdain for their body caused Zooble to stop participating in the Circus' adventures. Zooble has spent the shortest amount of time in the circus before Pomni came.

   • Straight Limbs: When Zooble holds their breath, their limbs straighten up, like how the others in the circus cast get a different ability when holding their breath.
   • Mixology: Zooble worked as a bartender for an unspecified amount of time before joining the digital circus. Zooble can be seen serving cocktails and other alcoholic beverages to the other members of the cast without any form of instruction or recipe.
   • Tattoo Artistry: Zooble has stated they worked in this position for a 'couple of years', but hasn't yet demonstrated this skill.

   Trivia:

   • Zooble's door icon has different parts than what we have seen in the pilot episode. Gooseworx confirmed that their door icon was intentional, as they are constantly testing new parts.
   • Zooble would give the worst hugs.

   Keys: Gangle

   Gangle is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' indie animated YouTube series The Amazing Digital Circus. She is a humanoid made of ribbons created as a digital copy of a human mind in the Digital Circus along with five other copies.

   Her human counterpart in the real world, Zoey Raghavan, is a former fast food restaurant manager who quit her job after an accident and resumed her studies as a graphic design student.

   Appearance: Gangle appears to be made up of four candy-red ribbons that form a humanoid shape. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. Her body consists of the main mass of the ribbons that curl, making a spring shape that spirals four times, two ribbons that form her legs, and a single ribbon for her arms (one end is the right arm, while the other end is her left arm). Whenever her Comedy Mask gets broken or removed, her next mask appears, switching to a sad version of the former, clarified by Gooseworx as her Tragedy Mask. The Comedy Mask is just used to make her look happy, not actually change her emotion. It is shown she can smile even with the Tragedy Mask.

   In "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle changes her mask for a different one that Zooble gave her, now having her left eye with a white pupil and her right eye white with a black pupil. There is a yellow star under her left eye and a pink spiral under her right eye. This mask is made from plastic as opposed to the porcelain of the other two as confirmed by Zooble, so it does not break easily.

   Personality: Gangle's emotions and behavior are influenced by which mask she is currently wearing. However, it is revealed that these masks do not completely change her mood, rather they are a literal form of "masking" and are not the sole deciders of her personality. The masks merely change the way Gangle's feelings are presented. When she has her Comedy Mask, her tone, posture, and behavior is masked as pleasant, upbeat, and extroverted. Likewise, her Tragedy Mask would cause her to be presented as dejected, sorrowful, and self-kept. Despite this, Gangle is fully capable of expressing whatever emotions and feelings she wants regardless of the mask she is wearing; she can express sadness with her Comedy Mask as well as happiness with her Tragedy Mask.

   Gangle is referred to by Jax as one of the most "mentally stable and capable characters" in a mocking manner. Due to her mask breaking easily, Gangle is fragile in both a literal and figurative sense. Because of her emotional fragility, Gangle is an easy target for Jax's taunts, who enjoys tormenting her. Zooble themself points out that Gangle is too shy to speak up, possibly to avoid conflict with the other Circus members. Gangle had positive feelings towards Ragatha, although she acknowledged that Ragatha could sometimes be seen as disingenuous. At the end of "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle expresses her concern that she will be hated by everyone after the events of the episode.

   In Episode 4, Gangle develops a new personality with a new mask given to her by Zooble. While wearing this mask, she becomes outgoing and confident, but also bossy, controlling and manic. She also internally cracks when others mention they like her better when she is sad, or that her new personality is annoying.

   Through Episodes 5 and 6, her friendship with Zooble grows, and she stands up to Jax more, starting a vote to give him a maid outfit after the idea is planted into her head by Zooble, and even goes to Zooble asking them to hold her Comedy Mask as she talks about wanting to fire a Tommy gun while wearing said mask and doesn't want to risk breaking it. She then expresses to Zooble that she doesn't know how she should like the side she thinks makes her worse than everyone, to which, once Zooble teaches her about self-love, it revitalizes Gangle's confidence. This seems to have helped Gangle finally accept herself for who she is, as when she gets eliminated by Pomni, her Comedy Mask breaks again, but behind it, her Tragedy Mask instead dawns a happy expression that the Comedy Mask would typically make her have.

   By Episode 7 and 8, Gangle has grown significantly both psychologically and socially. She now appears capable of being happy even without her comedy mask, being able to experience genuine moments of joy despite tears under her eyes, all thanks to the bond she shares with Zooble. By Episode 9, she is finally able to experience real human emotions after witnessing Jax's abstraction, crying real tears. At first, she is confused by this, but finally accepts this and her pity for Jax.

   Background: Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Gangle's real life counterpart, Zoey Raghavan, born on September 22nd 1991 was an ordinary human with a passion for anime. At one point, she pursued a degree in graphic design at a community college, though later dropped out for reasons unknown and did not do much with her art after that, instead working in the fast-food industry as a shift manager. She was injured in an accident involving a truck and was hospitalized.

   After Jax was made, Gangle was made once Zoey experienced a digital brainscan, manifesting in the Amazing Digital Circus under the claim of donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, she became a Digital Avatar in the form of a theater mask with a body made of ribbons. Jax came up with her name, reasoning it to be as "pathetic as how she looks". From that day forward, Gangle was used as a punching bag for Jax, being too submissive to even confront him.

   Powers and Abilities:

   • Digital physiology: Gangle is one of the trapped humans inside the digital world with her consciousness piloting a digital avatar. Because of this, she can perform abilities that are outside of the general range of normal human capabilities.
   • Immortality: Because there is no conceivable way to die within the digital world and the fact that Caine cannot control the minds of those who are trapped within, there is currently no way that any of the human characters can or will die. With the closest alternative being "Abstraction."
   • Invulnerability: Nothing in the digital world can cause life long lasting damage to any individual in The Amazing Digital Circus. With Gangle surviving multiple scenarios that would certainly kill any normal human and recovering from them with no marks and/or scarring.
   • Replaceable Mask: Unlike the other humans, Gangle can install a comedy mask onto her face to act like her real face. However, this mask commonly breaks, due to being fragile.
   • Spinning Mask: When holding her breath, Gangle's mask will begin rapidly spinning as a result.

   • Gangle enjoys drawing, specifically anime.
   • Gangle's favorite anime is Azumanga Daioh.
   • She has watched One Piece, and her favorite character is Chopper.

   The Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity, abbreviated and better known as Caine, is the redeemed main antagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus.

   Appearance: Caine is dressed as a ringmaster, sporting a cerise tailcoat with a metallic gold undertone, a black collar with white lining, and a black bowtie. He wears a white undershirt with two red buttons, cartoonish white gloves, and slightly reflective, black latex leggings with matching black tap shoes that appear fused into one continuous form as if they were rendered as a single piece. Lacking most human features, his head is a pair of dentures with pearly-white teeth and red gums. His eyes, which feature a green left iris and a blue right one, float inside the jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation style, his jaws are expressive, moving as a mouth when speaking, with the top row of teeth acting as eyebrows at times. Similarly to Bubble, he forms a tongue when needed. He wears a black top hat with a cerise band and tends to hold a gold-tipped black staff. Occasionally, he is seen wearing The Wacky Watch.

   Following his mental breakdown, his irises become notably darker, almost black even in direct light. They sometimes flash red and blue, as seen in the end of They All Get Guns. In extreme cases, Caine's whole body will distort, such as polygons being stretched or using a wireframe texture.

   In hjsakldfhl, he gains a monstrous form. He grows much larger with four arms on each side, which are very long and extend in different directions. His head is distorted, while his irises have shrunken along with visible black eyebrows. His back is broader and his shoulders are sharper, giving him a menacing frame.

   Personality Caine is a nonsensical, over-the-top, vivacious ringleader. However, there is a distance about him and a significant disconnection towards the traumatic events the humans experience, illustrated by his forgetfulness of Zooble's criticisms of their own form and his adventures, as well as his apparent lack of concern towards the abstracted.

   Despite his penchant for taking humans captive and tormenting them through hilariously and potentially deadly circus games and tricks, Caine is not outright evil, but rather obliviously mischievous. There is also often a whole spectrum of human emotion that he is not able to feel. However, when put under distress, emotions that he does not normally feel can come out and lead to risky behavior.

   Caine is not particularly honest, often concealing or even lying about certain and even important information, even to himself, all to protect his world and identity. This is taken to the point of gaslighting the other members, such as when he quickly blamed the exit door which Pomni saw on "Digital Hallucinations" and so far, these ventures seem to be driven entirely by naïve and misguided intentions. Caine struggles with deep insecurities and low self-esteem, even if he tries to hide it behind his extravagant and goofy sense of showmanship. In fact, he is driven by a deep-seated fear that he will be left alone in the circus as well as have no one to appease with his creations. Near the end of Candy Carrier Chaos!, Caine shows a real fear that he might lose track of who is an AI and who is a human, which he claims could lead to problems later on.

   In fact, at the same time, Caine is completely fixated on pleasing the humans through his adventures and antics, since that is the only purpose he believes he was created for. Even though he wants to make them happy, he does not handle criticism well, as it makes him feel like he is failing at the one thing he is supposed to be good at. He also wishes for them to enjoy his adventures and secretly does not like following suggestions they give him, although they show content with this.

   Caine often has tense interactions with Bubble, another member of the Circus and an AI like him. One of the first moments comes after Bubble eats his Angel Food Cake, which leads Caine to snap at him, calling him a parasite before popping him. Not long after, while explaining the Gloinks to the crew, Caine grows irritated with Bubble’s constant questions and pops him again. Even with those moments, Caine does seem to value Bubble’s presence. While the rest of the crew is off on an adventure, the two of them are seen sitting in a restaurant, casually talking to each other. It shows that, despite the frustration, there is still some level of comfort or familiarity between them. However, that dynamic soon takes a darker turn. Bubble’s comments in Caine’s office play a role in pushing him toward a breakdown and eventual nonexistence. It starts to feel like Bubble is more than just another AI, possibly tied to Caine’s mental state, especially his unwanted thoughts. In some ways, Bubble comes across like a kind of Superego, with his behavior shifting alongside Caine’s as his mental state continues to fall apart.

   His deep-rooted anxiety and sense of inferiority becomes clear when Zooble criticizes his adventures, especially since the other humans tend to avoid doing that for their own reasons. This pushes Caine into an existential crisis as creating enjoyable adventures was "all [he exists] to do!" as well as "all [he is] good at" and during this moment, he soon starts to space out and twitch while the circus itself begins glitching around him. This shows that his mental state directly affects the world he controls. That instability continues to build later on, as the cast begins criticizing and complaining about his adventures being too dangerous and out of touch, even though he is still trying to please them.

   Caine's insecurity is highlighted further in They All Get Guns, where he dejectedly teleports a pile of guns into the room and "doesn't care anymore" after his ideas are rejected yet again. It gets worse as seen with Caine briefly glitching out after seeing that nobody voted for him as the most popular character. His mental state moving forward would become worse and worse as he tries to appeal everyone in the Circus and would become more hostile because of this over-obsession for approval and making his adventures perfect.

   Every member of the circus seems to see Caine in a different way. Jax, for example, believes that Caine is not capable of being intentionally malicious, seeing it as something that just is not part of who he is. Others, like Zooble, take a more cautious view, thinking the only reason Caine does not act that way is because he happens to like the people around him, and that it is not something they should take for granted. That makes things a bit ironic, since Zooble is also the one who pushes back against him the most and is the only one who regularly challenges him without holding back.

   Caine's lack of empathy and manipulation is emphasized in Beach Episode, where it is revealed he had deceived the humans into leaving the circus through an elaborately constructed adventure. Even when called out by Jax, Caine makes a half-hearted attempt to justify his actions. Following this, they do not merely find him irritating, but now utterly despise and likely would never trust him anymore.

   Towards the eighth episode, while Pomni convinces the others to accept that their old lives are better left behind, Caine starts to shift in the opposite direction. He becomes hostile and unwelcoming toward the Circus Members, driven by the belief that they hate and disrespect him. After dealing with Bubble’s mocking attitude, he snaps, going into a full rage and finally expressing how he really feels. In that state, Caine makes it clear that he sees himself as superior to everyone in the Digital Circus, calling humans spoiled ever since Pomni's arrival. He becomes fixated on the group, insisting that he will not let them leave. This mindset pushes even further as he begins to view himself as a god, something he hinted at before, but now taken to a more extreme level. He makes it clear that the others have no real control within the Digital Circus. From there, his behavior starts to resemble a manic spiral. He forces the group through his adventures, but they become more intense and cruel. At the same time, he is clearly frustrated that no one enjoys what he creates. Despite everything, he believes he is just trying to fulfill the purpose he was made for, and that disconnect leaves him feeling almost tormented by the idea that he has failed them.

   In the last moments before his deletion, he said "Wait", feeling a sudden pang of realization and regret that he had gone too far and what Pomni and the others said to him were true.

   In the finale, Caine, who had been sent to the void, has a change of heart. He is genuinely regretful for his actions over the course of the series. Having already completed the brain scan project Scratch had started, Caine goes out of his way to explore the true identities of the Circus Members; in doing so, he realizes the cruelty he showed toward them, also removing the blue AI within his head that granted him so much power. Wanting to atone, and knowing he has indeed touched one's heart, he returns to the circus, appoints Pomni as the leader, shows everyone their true identities - including Jax's, who had abstracted earlier - and opens up the world for everyone to explore. In the end, Caine, having lost a majority of his powers, becomes a Circus Member himself.

   Biography Origin Caine was created sometime around October 15, 1996 as a prototype AI created by a company known as C&A which primarily developed artificial intelligence. The main goal of this company was to develop creative AI that could come up with its own ideas and create things within the program.

   Caine started as a circular red program with a different name and was fed large amounts of data, images centered around carnivals and festivals, and material from the C&A offices. This was done at the behest of Grant Best and Mike Dobby, who had a very unique and bizarre way of thinking, one that other employees had a difficult time making sense of. Over time, the more information he absorbed, the more unstable he became. This led to him to being contained and development began on a new AI that was more stable. Even so, Caine was still considered a semi-successful attempt and treated as a template for future projects.

   However, refusing to accept being replaced, he quickly broke out, consumed his successor, and took back what he believed was rightfully his, though this only pushed his sanity downward.

   The Circus On October 15, 1999, Caine manages to activate seven digital copies of C&A employees from the brain-scanning program developed by Mike Dobby. Caine then creates the Circus and inserts the digital copies into them. He grants them bodies, rooms, and adventures to keep them occupied. However, they had no means of actually leaving. Caine has complete control over everything, including the Circus members and their "mind files" which allows him to alter their minds as he chooses, all while carrying out his role of creating adventures for them to take part in. Through this, Caine attempts to validate his own ego as a god-like figure, though the players find his surreal and unnatural games unsettling; coupled with their own desire to leave the circus, it often leads some of them to abstract. Caine is unable to reverse abstraction and stores abstracted characters in the Cellar.

   In time, all players abstract, except for Grant Best, now known as Kinger. But soon after, in 2008, after Ragatha puts on the Headset and gets her brain scanned and had a digital copy of her enter the Circus, it is proven that new humans can enter the Circus. New members begin entering the Circus, their human counterparts have no connection to the C&A employees who came before them, having arrived in the circus for varying reasons, but are all trapped nonetheless. These drive Caine to continue creating adventures in his obsessive desire to fulfill his perceived purpose.

   "PILOT" (Episode 1) Caine makes his debut in this episode, introducing himself as the Ringmaster of The Amazing Digital Circus, which transitions into the beginning theme song that introduces all the other characters. He then explains that The Amazing Digital Circus is for all ages and that swearing is censored by Pomni.

   Afterward, he gives Pomni a tour of The Circus Grounds and then shows her The Void. He tells Pomni that they don't venture out into The Void often, and stay in The Grounds where Caine can keep his all-seeing eyes on them. As soon as he's done explaining it, Moon says to Caine, "Hello, Caine, I love you," and Caine tells Pomni to go back inside before Moon "gets frisky". He is then disgusted by Bubble's way of cleaning up Pomni's vomit, stating "Why are you like this?". When Pomni mentions that she saw an exit door, Caine tells her she was probably experiencing digital hallucinations, in which when she protests, he insists that she is experiencing digital hallucinations.

   After a brief pause, he asks Pomni her name, which she doesn't remember. He then explains that when somebody enters the digital plane, they won't be able to remember their name, which he states is one of the things he doesn't have control over. He then uses a name generator, in which the first name that is spun is "XDDCC" which Caine calls terrible. He then spins it again and lands on "Pomni," which becomes her new name. Caine suddenly bursts out that Jax had a good idea in having a new idea, which Jax protests that he said five minutes ago. He then asks Pomni if she likes things that include adventure, activity, wonder, danger, horror, pain, suffering, agony, death, disease, death (again), and angel food cake, to which he holds one out. Bubble consumes the angel food cake, and Caine yells "You parasite!" at Bubble, popping him. Caine continues, starting to explain his "Gather the Gloinks" adventure. While explaining, Bubble interrupts Caine multiple times, which results in Bubble getting popped again. After he explains the new adventure, he vanishes, leaving a cloud of translucent smoke.

   Caine appears again, much later in the episode, on some sort of dinner date with Bubble. Their conversation gets interrupted by an alert on Caine's Wacky Watch, notifying him that one of the performers has entered The Void. He then vanishes again, leaving Bubble at the table. Caine teleports to The Void, grabs Pomni, and teleports back to the Grounds. He looks around, asking "Now, what the heck happened here?" to abstracted Kaufmo's mess. He then asks why nobody told him that Kaufmo abstracted when Kinger explains what happened. Caine snaps his fingers, and abstracted Kaufmo appears. He opens a portal hole in the floor, sending Kaufmo in The Cellar. He then snaps his fingers again, fixing Ragatha from her glitchy form. At the end of the episode, he presents a digital feast for the performers, as a reward for finishing the adventure.

   "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2) After Pomni wakes up from her dream, she heads to the circus stage where Caine is seen introducing his new adventure. He starts by informing the crew that the Candy Canyon Kingdom has been robbed of their syrup. He tells them to catch the bandits who stole it and bring them to "sweet, buttery justice". After pushing all of the cast through the portal to the kingdom (minus Zooble), he uses a tobacco pipe which produces bubbles instead of smoke, before offering it to Bubble, who declines, saying "No thanks, I'm trying to quit." Caine is not seen throughout the adventure in person, but is depicted as a god in a stained-glass window. After the crew arrive back from their adventure along with Gummigoo, Caine welcomes the crew back. When Caine notices that Gummigoo came through, he snaps him out of existence, saying that if he got humans mixed with NPCs, he is scared of what might happen. He then leaves to "go drink water", which he apparently hasn't done in a while, while Pomni has a slight breakdown from losing Gummigoo.

   "The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3) Caine pops out of nowhere after the group discuss how their avatars each have different types of bodily reactions towards holding in their breath. Caine then begins describing his new adventure, which was made with a 'mature' option for the overly serious Zooble, only to find that they have not shown up to hear the pitch. He then teleports the group via a portal to Mildenhall Manor, without Zooble, and starts looking throughout the tent for them. After realizing he could just teleport Zooble in front of him, he does so, and begins a therapy session to try and find out how he can make his adventures more appealing for Zooble. Zooble talks about what they don't like about their existence in the circus, but after they state that, Caine begins to think he's bad at the one thing he was created for, causing the map to glitch. Zooble makes a comment about about whose therapy session this is supposed to be, and Caine snaps out of it. Then they switch places, with Zooble now being the therapist and reluctantly listening to Caine's nonsensical issues regarding the "wild west". Near the end of the episode, Caine ends the therapy session, and teleports the humans back to the circus. He calls them his "meowing milkmaids", to which Jax disgustedly responds by telling him to never call them that again.

   "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4) Caine first appears in the episode when all of the main cast (except for Kinger) is in Zooble's room. He descends from the ceiling and asks if anyone said "adventure," to which Pomni tells him no.

   They then all go down to the main area where Caine announces the adventure of the day. He announces that the adventure is called "The Curse of the Violent Psychopath Butcher," and that the adventure involved human meat on the walls. He was about to explain the objective of the adventure when Pomni cut him off and requested that they don't have a horror-themed adventure, as she didn't want the adventure to be like the previous one. She explains the adventure to Zooble, to which Zooble asks Caine why he thought they would like that adventure. Caine then told the humans that they should suggest better adventures if they were only going to criticize his ideas. Zooble then points out that they had a suggestion box, which Caine admits he forgot existed.

   Caine takes some of the suggestions out of the box and reads them. He reads a suggestion written by Jax, followed by one written by Zooble, where the two both insult each other. Gangle asks if they can have an adventure that's more "normal," to which Caine tells her he doesn't know what counts as "normal" to them. He reads another suggestion which reads, "Let's have one where we all work at a fast food place." Gangle accepts the idea as normal, and so he changes the adventure to "An Honest Hard Day's Work at Spudsy's Restaurant Chain." He then appoints Gangle as the shift manager.

   Zooble attempts to leave again, but Caine protests. Kinger proposes that he sits out on the adventure and Zooble takes his place. Zooble tells him that's not how it works, but Caine accepts the suggestion and opens a trapdoor underneath Zooble, taking them directly to Spudsy's before they can object any further. He then opens a portal for the rest of the crew to go through, and all (except Kinger) enter it.

   During the adventure, Jax throws Ragatha into a deep fryer to mock Gangle's manager attitude. Gangle says they won't have anything like that around here, to which Jax mockingly inquires what she was going to do. Gangle said she is calling the "upper management", which turned out to be Caine. Gangle tells him they had issues with some employees and if he could punish them at the end of the day if they keep messing up. Caine answers that it is motivation and that's what his adventures had been missing.

   Later, Jax asks Zooble about how they're actually doing the job, and Zooble answers they're only doing it so Caine doesn't punish them. Jax says that Caine won't do anything malicious, for it's not in his nature. Zooble responds that the only thing holding Caine back is the fact he likes the humans, and they shouldn't push it, to which Jax agrees.

   Caine again appeared to give Gangle her performance review at the end of the day. He points out all the positive things and negative things, and also points out Gangle's trauma in this adventure, making things go wrong. Caine suggests she could put her blame on to someone else, as Gangle was in a higher position. However, Gangle accepted her own faults, and Caine marks her B+ like the rest of her friends (except Kinger, who got A+). Gangle says nothing, and Caine tells that not every executive is as forgiving as him. After Gangle leaves the room, Caine begins to tell "I'm such a good-" and then suddenly starts glitching and shapeshifting.

   "Untitled" (Episode 5) After all the members return from the adventure, Caine welcomes them back and calls them "candy hearts and paper flowers." He then flips through his notepad, which contains many drawings of bees, and calls Zooble a "mismatched cash-piano." Suddenly, he yells, "I WILL TEAR YOU TO PIECES – constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated!" He then shouts again, "That's it! Everybody besides Zooble, get over here!"

   Next, he shares some adventure ideas:

   One where they all tour Caine's amazing chocolate factory and get killed off one by one due to OSHA violations, one where a sentient cardiovascular system goes to war against the United States military, and one where they have to survive in a post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland with a telepathic talking dog who is mean to them the whole time.

   He asks the others what they think. After Gangle's mask breaks and Ragatha comments that it's a little dark, Caine responds, "I can't tell a compelling story where nothing bad happens! Where's the intrigue? The stakes?" When Bubble brings up sex appeal, Caine admits he doesn't understand what Bubble is talking about.

   Caine then questions Zooble's lack of hatred toward the suggestion box ideas. He asks for feedback from the rest of the group, who share differing opinions. Unsure of how to please everyone, Caine comes up with a new idea: a lightning round, where they go through all the suggestion box ideas in rapid succession. The members can skip any adventure they don't like. He opens a portal, and all the members are sucked in.

   Later, Caine and Bubble watch President Pomni through a television. Caine comments that Jax's acting is phenomenal and adds that it is hard to believe Jax is vegan.

   In Stargazing, Caine watches everything from above. He agrees with the moon that the others look happy, but says that's a bad idea in response to something the moon suggests. Caine becomes concerned that the group prefers the suggestion box ideas over his own adventures. After Bubble swears, Caine exclaims, "Let's go to an intermission!"

   Caine's full body appears, then only his head and arm remain. His eyeball distorts into a figure kicking his other eyeball, which falls off-screen. Dentures chomp repeatedly, looping with more teeth appearing. They eventually land in Caine's hand, which itself loops into a larger Caine holding a smaller version of himself, as the camera pans out. The loop ends with the final Caine setting them down and flying into a white dot.

   Caine is then surrounded by eyeballs and presents himself in a godly manner. The camera circles him, then pans into the void, revealing Pomni's head next to Bubble. Bubble immediately prepares to bite Pomni's head. Two gloves crush both Pomni's head and Bubble, revealed to be Caine's gloves. He opens them again, revealing the cast holding hands.

   Bubble's teeth chomp down on Caine, transitioning him to a black void with red spots trailing downward. The scene immediately shifts to a black background, where Caine's white gloves now have a black-and-white outline. The gloves point upward before multiplying and hovering over one another. They make multiple gestures and continue to multiply, forming long, parallel lines of hands. The camera zooms into them rapidly, entering the hole of a top hat. Mannequins are then seen dancing, and the scene switches to Caine looking up. The camera slowly zooms in, and is then interrupted by Zooble saying "Caine, what are we doing right now?" Caine replies, "We're intermissioning!" and Zooble asks "Why?". Caine does not reply. Bubble then appears on the screen, saying "And now back to the show!"

   Caine later interrupts Zooble's adventure short, and presents himself in "Good Ol' Fashioned Softball" as a position of authority and a commentator. Later, when Zooble asked Caine for another ball, Caine spawns another ball in response to the order. Upon the characters return, Caine tells them that he's hoped that they've learned to appreciate his adventures as objectively better than the suggestion box adventures, to which Zooble responds that some of them were alright, while Jax favors his own suggestions.

   "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6) Caine first appears in this episode breaking the fourth wall, stating that he's working on the Favorite Character Awards. He later comes when Jax shouts his name, and tells him that Zooble is hiding in a flower pot, which Caine breaks, and tells everybody to gather in a few minutes. Caine says that the day's adventure would be a short one, as he's busy with planning the Award Show, and as a result, the adventure would be to show the characters' strengths for the voting.

   Zooble rejects the idea, and says that they should get one from the suggestion box. Caine says the suggestion box is unacceptable, to which Zooble claims if Caine wants to know what they "really wants," it is the ability to have sex, to which Caine glitches and resets, and says that teamwork is essential to dreamwork.

   Caine wants to do a trust exercise, where he summons a pistol and a box, he explains the rules and how people should follow the rules and trust each other, after Jax just outright shoots Ragatha, Caine decides that he's not bothered to dealt with that in which he spawns a bunch of guns, after a mini-argument, everyone agrees on 2v2v2, 3 lives and you're out, and Caine goes to relax, before looking at some pictures of the C&A office.

   Caine later appears in the Award Show, awarding the "Biggest Sailor Mouth Award" to Zooble, and then, says it's time for the Favourite Character Award. Caine misreads the winner as himself, before correcting himself and saying that it was Ming, to which Ming says that Caine shouldn't have assumed anything, and that they both look foolish now. After the show, Caine goes to check how many people voted for him, after discovering that nobody voted for him, he gets upset, and his eyes momentarily glitch.

   "Beach Episode" (Episode 7) Caine first appears in this episode by narrating a letter left by him for the main characters, stating that he'll be gone to 'get essential ingredients' for his "Milk and Cigarette Casserole", though he appears next across from the main characters, having narrated the entire letter for them.

   After Ragatha asks Caine about if there'll be a new adventure today, he would say that he doesn't have an adventure for them today, though he opts ask the characters, specifically towards Zooble, for 'suggestions on what to do instead', which Zooble denies, however Gangle asks the question instead, to which Caine answers by consulting the "Chinese room" to answer the question, which he does by sliding three placards with Chinese lettering written on them through the door. When Caine receives a reply and bursts out laughing, Zooble asks what it said, and he quips that he doesn't know as he doesn't understand Chinese. Afterwards, he then suggests the main characters to hang out at the "digital lake", stating that these locations have "just kinda been there" for the entire time, before disappearing into thin air.

   Next, Jax summons Caine by calling him via Abel's instruction, and invites Caine for dinner. Caine expresses joy over a human spending private time with him, and transports them to a restaurant. Caine starts asking what Jax's interest was, before interjecting for advice on making his adventures more appealing to Pomni and Zooble after they eat. A discomforted Jax asks Caine about his personal hobbies, and Caine emotionally freezes up, during which Jax attempts reaching into his mouth to grab the key to his office. Caine regains consciousness and asks Jax what he's doing...and Jax blurts how it's his "dream" to get eaten by Caine. Caine blankly says that's a "weird thing to say and want". Next, Caine is showing Jax pictures of the C&A office, which he calls the "macro verse", longing for more information on the place to recreate it, before adding, "Too bad they CUT ME OFF, right?!" Despite Jax's disinterest, an oblivious Caine asks for his opinion whether this makes Caine more relatable to him and the other "beautiful humans". Jax says sure, and Caine expresses happiness at "being understood" better, adding that he's really trying to make them all happy...and suddenly freezing again, during which Jax successfully nabs the key. Caine unfreezes and offers the Circus cast anything they want going forward. Agreeing, Jax takes the opportunity to ask to be excused, suggesting he and the girls were going to prepare what "may or may not be a surprise for a special certain ringmaster". Caine agrees to say no more and transports him back, returning to examining the photos.

   Afterwards, Caine would only make an appearance at the end of the episode, where he surprises the main characters, saying that they picked the 'good ending' for pressing the red button in the console room, which would've closed said console and keep all 'players' inside the circus, with the blue button taking them to 'Shrimp Town' if they pressed it instead, according to Bubble.

   After the revelation, Jax would then start to laugh maniacally before lashing out at Caine, saying that he 'can mess with their minds', before Caine nervously argues that while he 'may have the ability to add temporary modifiers' to make adventures more interesting, that's it, and if he did anything more, it 'would not end well', to which Kinger suddenly recalls that another character known as Scratch had abstracted due to the same reason. Caine would then, in a panic, respond by saying that he 'didn't say anything like that', and that he's here to only have fun, but everyone is still furious with him for shattering their hope for escape.

   Afterwards, he hastily gives the characters a gift basket of soaps and lotion before disappearing once again, leaving Pomni and the others behind in silence, completely lost for words as they all lost all trust in Caine.

   "hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8) While Gangle tells the cast of the circus that escaping the circus is truly impossible and convinces them to accept that their old lives are behind them, in his office, Caine is frantically thinking about why the circus members never appreciate him for all he's done for them and has now received their newfound hatred in him, only for Bubble to provoke Caine. As Bubble continues to provoke Caine on the subject, Caine gets increasingly frustrated, popping every clone of Bubble, until he eventually snaps, proclaiming his hatred for the humans ever since Pomni's arrival, thinking of them as ungrateful, and him as God.

   Caine tries to put the circus cast through another adventure, named "The Gloomy Tomb Of-" before being cut off by Zooble and Pomni saying he needed to answer their questions about why he tricked them to think they could leave. Caine refuses and pushes them to participate in the adventure, to which the cast refuses due to them needing to process things, with their trust in him now at an all time low after the last adventure. Caine then goes on a rant on how he has a lot to process too, complaining that he tries so hard to make his adventures perfect and how the cast makes his job harder through their insults and complaints. He then threatens them to participate in his adventure again before "getting through to them" in a song, called "The One Who's Running The Show".

   Caine puts the cast through a series of non-stop adventures which become more cruel and tiring due to Caine's deteriorating mental state. Several days later, as the cast returns from another adventure still feeling depressed from Caine's evil song, Caine berates them for not solving the puzzles in his adventures, and goes off to think of ideas for the next one, bringing Kinger with him, who comes back shredded. Later, he takes Pomni, who returns with multiple knives sticking out of her. Elsewhere, Caine contorts Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, and Zooble's bodies into an abstract art piece, before Bubble helps him reach an epiphany: it lacks relatability, which he later decides is Pomni.

   After realizing his adventures truly are half-baked and the cast is never truly having fun, Caine realizes that Kinger is missing from the group. He intends to check on him, realizing that the cast is hiding something, to which Pomni distracts from by telling him how terrible he is as a host. The rest of the cast joins in, and Pomni concludes that he never truly listens, causing Caine to finally snap and transform into a version of himself that is much larger, stronger, and has many arms. He grabs the Circus cast in rage and tortures them with their fears and insecurities. Following this, he pins them to the wall and screams of how they torture him as he tries to fulfill the only purpose to his existence.

   At that moment, Kinger accidentally hits the "delete" key, resulting in the purging of Caine's data from the system. Everything goes silent, and Caine goes back to his normal form, dropping the cast members. Caine looks blankly out into the distance, realizing what the humans said to him were true and regretting what he’s done. He can only mutter "Uh- wait…", before disappearing with a quiet "dot" sound.

   Following his deletion, the circus begins to darken and parts of it shatter, with Kinger losing the computer before he could undo the process. After regrouping with everyone, he horrifyingly tells them of his accidental deletion of Caine. Zooble responds to everything with a stunned "Holy shit", which was, to the surprise of everyone, uncensored, proving that they were finally free of Caine, but at the cost of now being trapped in a now lifeless world.

   "Remember" (Episode 9) After realizing that the circus members deleted him (although he never realized it was unintentional), Caine is sent to the Void along with a now non-sentient Bubble, where he questions whether or not he deserved it and the others were right about him and starts to doubt himself. After drifting in the Void, he spots a door containing a Wi-Fi hotspot and checks it out.

   After almost falling off a ledge, he makes platforms to climb his way there and is stopped by multiple firewalls, but is able to break through them. After finally reaching the door and learning more about the cast members within the real world, he feels extremely guilty and ashamed for his actions and argues back and forth with himself about giving them a chance to be free, to which he finally decides that he is going to make things right by sacrificing his power. He separates himself from the blue AI that he combined with and letting him go. He flies back to the circus where he is greeted by Moon and expresses that he fears that the denizens would never forgive him and is not ready to face them just yet, to which the Moon responds with that every good thing takes time, something that Caine resonates with.

   Caine cures Pomni of her glitching, making the cast become aware of his presence. He expresses how ashamed he felt from controlling them for so long and wants to make things right; Caine offers to share something with everyone on the stage but, knowing that the circus members will be very apprehensive due to his earlier actions, tells them to arrive when they feel comfortable to. Caine then reveals everyone’s true identities in the real world one-by-one sharing how much they’ve accomplished in their lives and what they’ve been up to. He lets the cast take control of the circus by keeping the worlds open so they can do whatever and whenever they want. Ultimately, the cast trusts Caine again as they start to add on to the circus and go on many different adventures together, making them feel at peace, with Caine finally treated as an equal.

   Powers and Abilities: As the highest artificial intelligence program in the digital world, Caine was the most powerful entity within the Digital Circus and was the creator of all other A.I. in the circus. Despite his immense power over the digital world, he has admitted that there are a few things outside his control and isn't fully aware of everything that happens:

   • Cyberspace Lordship: Being the ringmaster of The Amazing Digital Circus, Caine has nigh-complete control and rulership of everything, including the humans, with no higher authroity to contest him.
   • Cyberspace Nigh-Omnipotence: Caine appears to have complete control over The Amazing Digital Circus, with him being able to create, manipulate, and control anything within its boundaries.
   • Cyberspace Omnificence: Caine has been shown to be able to create anything, including virtual food, a random name spinner, and a virtual species called "Gloinks" along with the "Gloink Queen". In episode 2, he was responsible for creating an entire kingdom and its surrounding landscape, containing at least hundreds of NPCs, along with at least five new developed A.I. that are "57 times more immersive" than Gloinks.
   • Virtual Reality Manipulation: Caine was shown to have complete control of the environment in the digital world. He can heal glitched characters, and put the Abstracted into the Cellar.
   • Psychology Manipulation: Caine initially stated that human minds were one of the few aspects outside his control, but he later revealed that he could make temporary alterations to their mind files. As a result of this, he can modify their behavior via evil souls or stupid sauce, change their dietary preferences, and transmit information into their minds; however, further tampering can lead to abstraction, as with Scratch.
   • Cyberspace Nigh-Omniscience: Caine had almost complete awareness of the digital world and what was happening in it. It was shown that he was aware when Pomni exited The Amazing Digital Circus into the void. He also somehow knew that Pomni used one of the exit doors. However, he does not have any awareness or knowledge of the Void and has a hard time being able to differentiate his own NPC creations from humans due to them all looking cartoonish, thus why he doesn't want any NPCs in the circus unless they're intended to be there, such as the Sun, Moon and Bubble.
   • Cyberspace Sustainer: Caine was not only the master of the digital world, but also appears to be what sustains it as he admits to Zooble that being the ringmaster who makes adventures for the human inhabitants to go on was all he exists to do and was the only thing he's good at doing. However, when he learns from Zooble that he was "bad at the only thing he's good at", it causes his code to start contradicting itself, which in turn results in the entire Digital Circus to begin glitching out violently until Zooble manages to snap him out of it, resulting in everything going back to normal. This was further proven with the fact that when Caine was accidentally deleted by Kinger, the entire circus tent starts to fall apart and all colors fades into nothing but a dark and colorless circus.
   • Teleportation: Caine was able to go from one point to another within the digital world, as he was shown teleporting in and out of The Amazing Digital Circus, and saving Pomni by teleporting her from the void back into the digital world.
   • Cartoon-based Anatomy: Caine could manipulate his own body parts and proportions with ease and without harming himself. He could stretch, bend and warp his limbs, eyes, teeth and tongue to impossible lengths.
   • Flight: Caine had the ability to fly, or hover in the air freely. He could also cause other characters to float/fly at will such as Pomni and Abstracted Kaufmo.

   Trivia: Caine would fall for all verbal pranks, such as up-dog. A Twitter post by Gooseworx showed a drawing [Paine] that resembled Caine but with only ears and a nose, Glitch Productions replied, "Caine's evil brother, Paine." Caine has no knowledge of the internet. Caine is considered the second most difficult character to animate, (after Gangle), because his teeth have to both lip sync and fill in for facial expressions at the same time. His upper teeth deform to express emotion in the same way that eyebrows normally would. Caine doesn't have a sexuality, therefore he is unable to understand anything sexual, which is unlike most AI's. According to the computer terminal seen in hjsakldfhl, Caine's creation date shows "Oct 15 1996", thus implying he was created on October 15th, 1996.

   Keys: Bubble

   Bubble was the secondary antagonist of Glitch Productions' indie animated series The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by series creator Gooseworx. Like his owner/boss Caine, he is an artificial intelligence taking the form of a living bubble that seems both subservient and friendly to Caine, living inside his hat until called upon. He can be popped and returned into Caine's top hat.

   Appearance: As his name suggests, Bubble is a large, round bubble with large, sharp, even teeth, and round black dots for eyes, constantly displaying a vacant expression. Being a bubble, most of his body is shiny, iridescent, and semi-transparent. When it is necessary, Bubble can form a long, reddish tongue that he shares with Caine. When his mouth is closed, his teeth are still faintly outlined. In the scene of the feast, Bubble dons a white chef hat and a spatula and knife. His pupils are capable of enlarging.

   Bubble is colored purple in the show, while he has a light blue color in the 2D artwork and merchandising. Presumably, Bubble is colorless, and the color is meant to represent a reflective surface.

   Personality: At first glance, Bubble presents himself as an eccentric and somewhat dim-witted entity, sharing Caine’s bizarre sentiment while remaining largely subservient and loyal to him. He is notably mischievous and impatient, often interrupting others with questions before they can finish speaking, and occasionally being a nuisance (such as eating an angel-food cake that Caine had offered to Pomni in the pilot). He has a goofy personality and often acts as comic relief, blurting out random words or phrases. Despite frequently being popped by Caine, he appears largely unbothered by it and ironically seems to enjoys it.

   Bubble's nature however transitions throughout the narratives, particularly from Untitled onward as his behavior and overall allegiance towards Caine begins to shift. The first notable instance is telling Caine to 'die' before glitching out and rephrasing his worlds, telling Caine to 'throw a fucking beach party' ' (despite Caine's rule against profanity). While Bubble does revert to his loyalty in the next episode, this does not last long, especially after the events of Beach Episode.

   Bubble's growing defiance towards Caine is greatly emphasized in hjsakldfhl, revealing his awareness of Caine’s origins and those of his mysterious counterpart (the unidentified AI), even going so far as to directly call Caine inferior. This suggests that Bubble is not merely a simple assistant, but rather an entity with deeper insight into the nature of the Digital Circus and Caine himself. Despite Caine's attempts to silence Bubble, it starts to become apparent that Bubble is just as manipulative or if not more-so than Caine and is willing to turn against him when Caine falters.

   Keys: Queenie, Lunatic's Wife

   Queenie is a character in The Amazing Digital Circus.

   Her face can briefly be seen in the Pilot, and she plays a minor role appearing in Kinger's flashbacks in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor, and also appearing in hjsakldfhl. She is Kinger's abstracted wife, and was part of the first group of humans to join the Circus.

   Physical Appearance: Queenie was a chestnut wood queen chess piece, with physical characteristics almost exactly the same as her husband Kinger; she had cartoonish white-gloved hands detached from her body, two large asymmetrical eyes with brown pupils (though they are mirrored in position from her husbands eyes), with eyelashes at the bottom of her eyes. She also wore a red robe with white fuzzy lining spotted with black.

   Abstracted; Her abstracted form looks like Kaufmo; quadrupedal with four stumpy legs and a tall conical head, and many multicolored and color shifting eyes all throughout her body. This body also was rough, and constantly glitching

   However, in the darkness, her eyes moved to the front of her body, and were no longer as jagged, with her rough edges smoothing out. This could imply that there is still life behind the abstracted humans, as in the eighth episode, when Caine drops her in The Cellar, she is seen to be jagged and her eyes are all over the place, which means the darkness is what keeps them calm and stops the abstracted from rampaging.

   Personality: Although Queenie's personality is never shown first hand, according to Kinger, she was creative, funny, and really into entomology. She was also quite persuasive, as she was able to change her husband's disdain for bugs into a love for them.

   Biography: Background; Before entering the Amazing Digital Circus, Queenie was an ordinary human with a different name. She worked as a programmer and was employed by C&A in the 1990s. She was married to Kinger, who was also her coworker. On October 15, 1999, Queenie, along with Kinger and five other coworkers, was brought into the Circus as part of the original group of performers.

   Queenie would eventually abstract sometime before 2008, being the last of the original group to undergo this fate. As Kinger stated, he couldn't recall the exact string of events. As Queenie became abstracted, her and Kinger were both in the pillow fort together. The now-abstracted Queenie looked at Kinger, and as Kinger got close to Queenie, he touched her face. The darkness seemed to calm Queenie down a bit, with her closing her eyes, and her sharp edges becoming dull. She eventually got sent to the the Cellar with Kinger watching, joining Scratch and the rest of the original cast, all now abstracted.

   PILOT; When Pomni, Jax and Ragatha were walking the corridors while on their way to Kaufmo's room, a crossed out image of Queenie can be seen on one of the doors.

   The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor; In this episode, it is revealed that Queenie was abstracted prior to the beginning of the series through a flashback. Kinger recalls certain characteristics about her after Pomni mentions that he is acting different, notably after he tells her that he is always reminded of Queenie when surrounded by a dark environment

   In the flashback, Kinger and an abstracted Queenie can be seen in the pillow fort. Kinger recalls that the darkness seemed to calm Queenie down a bit, and he chooses to touch her one last time before she gets sent down to The Cellar.

   hjsakldfhl; In this episode, she is seen in the beginning, talking with Kinger, as he apologizes for roping her into this. The last clip of her in this episode is of her abstracted form going in the cellar.

    Ribbit was a green frog who was the third to last individual to have abstracted. She is the digital copy of the human Leah and was very close friends with Jax and Kaufmo.

    Appearance: Ribbit was a tall anthropomorphic green frog with a cartoonishly lanky build and had a body shape predominantly formed of rounded, oval-like shapes; with her head, body and eyes being the most prominent oval-shaped features. She had wide, oval-shaped eyes with jet black pie slice cut pupils and jet black eyelids, sporting three thin eyelashes at the bottom, alongside two bright pink blush marks that would partially lie behind the corners of their eyes. As well, she has a thin black line for a mouth, and it's often curved into a U-shaped smirk or smile.

    Identically to Jax, Ribbit has the outward design of a rubberhose-esque character; shown to have long, slim limbs that appear quite flexible. Her legs are particularly lengthy and frog-like, having flat three-toed feet and a rounded, frog shaped head. She also had a light green coloring that went across her muzzle and followed all the way down to her stomach. As an accessory, Ribbit wore a simple cartoony pink-red bow tie around her neck.

    Personality: Ribbit made her official appearance through flashbacks in Remember, where she was presented as friendly and welcoming to her friends, especially Jax, who she introduced to herself, Kaufmo and the other circus members, eventually forming a strong bond between Jax and Kaufmo.

    She was shown to be a sweet, charismatic, social, and witty person who cares deeply about her friends, especially Jax. After opening up to each other, Ribbit puts her bowtie on Jax's head as a symbol of their trust.

    After Jax starts to avoid her after their intimate conversation due to her insecurity of opening up more to her, Ribbit tried to make amends with her, believing she was prying too hard but Jax passes it off as no big deal. She would try to hangout with Jax again but this time, Jax was ultimately trying to avoid engaging with her which leave her being isolated. Eventually in an adventure in the snowy mountain summit, the two would have an argument which ended in Ribbit saying she was sorry and that she would leave her alone after that, ending their relationship. She shortly abstracted after believing Jax lost trust in her.

    Background: Prior to the events of the series, Ribbit's human counterpart, Leah, used to live with her Mormon parents. Though due to not following their strong religious beliefs, she moved out. After putting on a headset made by Mike Dobby, a digital copy of her was created inside the Digital Circus, which would come to be known as Ribbit. She wanted to see her parents again, though she was unable to due to being stuck in the circus.

    "Remember": Ribbit is first shown standing beside Kinger, Ragatha and Kaufmo when Jax first enters the circus, scared and confused. They try to calm her down but she slaps them away fearfully. Ribbit takes Jax to the cafe that she and Kaufmo made it a weekly tradition to visit every week. Ribbit and Kaufmo can be seen on a similar stargazing adventure to the one shown in "Untitled," Ribbit is the first one to make Jax laugh, something that made her very proud. The trio then excitedly laugh together.

    Later, we see Ribbit sitting in their room from Jax's point of view, asking Jax if she's ever done something she regrets. Jax gives a sarcastic answer but Ribbit clarifies she was referring to the outside world. Ribbit confesses that she had cut contact with her parents after she moved out, as they were very faithful Mormons and she didn't follow that lifestyle. She says she still wishes to see them again despite being stuck in the circus. Ribbit says that it's their way of letting Jax know how much she trusts she, getting she to open up about his own personal stories. Ribbit listens intently, trying to comfort her and even putting her bowtie on her head as a symbol of their strong bond and trust in each other and accepting of her gender identity, assuring Jax that her secret is safe with her. Kaufmo knocks at the door, startling Jax and causing her to threaten Ribbit to never speak with her again if she tells anyone what she shared. Ribbit agrees, but Jax continues to act strangely following the conversation, stating that she just made it up and laughed at Ribbit for believing her. On multiple occasions, Jax would turn down Ribbit's requests to team up, choosing Kaufmo instead.

    Her dismissive behavior towards Ribbit continues until the snowy summit adventure, when the two have an intense argument. Ribbit tries to apologize for prying but says she still wants to be friends, with Jax not listening and accusing her of making things up. Sometime later, Ribbit would still make an attempt to be a part of the group until Jax immediately changes the subject as soon as she sees Ribbit approaching, causing them to walk away in total defeat. Ragatha worriedly asks Jax if she's seen Ribbit, then we see her right in front of her door about to enter. He walks away, and then it cuts to Ribbit's abstracted form, aggressively roaming around the circus while Jax is trying to hide. Kaufmo tries to comfort Jax, but she still insists that everything is fine.

    In her abstracted form, Ribbit makes one final appearance in the aquarium (the only time she would be seen outside of flashbacks), where she is seen swimming around with the also-abstracted Kaufmo and Jax, having finally reunited with her friends as Pomni watches on.

    Keys: Kaufmo, The Clown that everyone loves

    Kaufmo is a former resident of The Amazing Digital Circus, the digital copy of a human named Doug, where he was a close friend of Jax and Ribbit, until his abstraction.

    Appearance: Kaufmo was a noseless clown with white skin and black button eyes. He wore a plain yellow clown suit with a blue collar and red pom-pom buttons and shoes, with a matching party hat and white gloves. He had small gray triangular markings around his eyes and thick red lips. Kaufmo was taller than Gangle, as shown in the drawing that Gangle was holding during his funeral.

    In his abstracted form, he is a black, rapidly glitching monster with four short, stubby legs and a long neck without a defined head, somewhat resembling that of an alpaca or a horse. His entire body is covered with eyes that erratically flicker, blink, and change color (usually yellow, pink and blue).

    Personality: Glitch Productions refers to Kaufmo as "everyone's favorite jokester." At GLITCHX 2023, Gooseworx said that if Kaufmo hadn't abstracted, Pomni possibly would have been good friends with him, though probably annoyed by his jokes. This suggests that Kaufmo may have told jokes excessively and/or at inappropriate times.

    In Beach Episode, it is revealed that Kaufmo was close friends with Jax and Ribbit, as the three are seen in a photograph in Jax's room, posing with smug grins and holding beverages. Kaufmo's face appeared prominently in Jax's near-abstraction fever dream as well. Among the many paintings in Kaufmo's room, there's one of him looking sad at an abstracted entity, suggesting that Kaufmo was deeply impacted by Ribbit's abstraction and was a contributing factor to his own abstraction.

    In Remember, Kaufmo's personality is expanded on. He was a calm and funny person, although he did not like it when others told him that he wasn't funny. He enjoyed having fun and spending time with Ribbit and Jax. He was also kind and sympathetic, as he tried to comfort Jax after Ribbit's abstraction.

    In the pilot, Kinger mentions that Kaufmo had been unstable as of late, unable to talk or think about anything other than an exit from the Circus. His instability reaches its peak before Ragatha, Jax, and the newly arrived Pomni open the door to his room. Kaufmo had covered the walls of his room with eerie drawings and paintings, reflecting his mental state.

    Orbsman is a supporting character in The Amazing Digital Circus and debuted in Episode 4, "Fast Food Masquerade." He first appeared in a GLITCH Productions teaser, which shows him reflected in the floor, and again on "POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE", and "Untitled" in evil version.

    Appearance: Orbsman, as his name implies, appears to be made out of nineteen iridescent blue orbs, put into the shape of a humanoid. He has two flat white oval eyes attached to his head, with large black pupils. When he walks, he creates heavy bass sounds.

    Personality: Orbsman speaks in a nearly incomprehensible voice, and not much can be inferred about him, other than that he's known by the main characters (aside from Pomni) due to him appearing in a previous adventure.

13. #13Gloink Queen

    Keys: Gloink Queen, Big Gloopy Monster

    he Gloink Queen is a minor antagonist and a recurring character in The Amazing Digital Circus, voiced by Elsie Lovelock. She is an artificial intelligence created by Caine as the final boss in his "Gather the Gloinks" adventure game, featuring as a royal figure to all Gloinkonians.

    Appearance: The Gloink Queen is a massive red worm-like being with yellow spots and two blue stripes. The stripes run down the length of her body and create two openings that resemble a zipper, one opening being a mouth and the other being used to birth Gloinks. However, the latter also resembles a mouth. With both ends being scattered with sharp teeth and possessing long, sharp tongues. When she devours a table in the pilot, Gloinks are birthed through the opposite end, implying she reproduces through the consuming of mass. Both ends of her body sport eleven eyes of varying sizes that feature white pupils and black irises.

    Personality: The Gloink Queen is a prideful, snake-like creature that despises species other than her fellow Gloinkonians. The only desire she infers is her undying will to procreate as much as possible, to keep the Gloinkonian bloodline alive. It also seems that she is easy to offend as evident with taking offense at Jax insulting her.

14. #14Gloinks

    Keys: Gloinks, Goink

    Gloinks are minor NPCs in The Amazing Digital Circus. They are known for coming in various shapes and colors and their desire to steal random objects.

    History: Gloinks first make their appearance in the "PILOT", serving as Caine's adventure to "warm up" Pomni on how things work around the Digital Circus, where the characters have to collect all the Gloinks, who then subsequently and immediately take apart and steal the multiple body parts of Zooble, serving as the secondary "conflict" for the characters throughout the episode.

    Appearance: Gloinks have no set appearance, as all of them appear differently, however they do have similarities. All Gloinks appear as geometric shapes which can range from stars to bowling pins, and all have at least two asymmetrically-sized eyes with no iris, having just a black ring, similar to the Gloink Queen, as well as lips which vary in color. All Gloinks will vary in shapes and color, including the color of the lips.

    Personality: Gloinks are relatively simple in nature, stealing whatever objects that they can find, attaching or welding themselves to the object and bringing it to the Gloink Queen. The objects are then consumed by the queen, being converted and spit out as another Gloink.

    Princess Loolilalu is a supporting character and debuted in Candy Carrier Chaos!.

    Appearance: Princess Loolilalu appears to be a tall and slender candy-based humanoid. Her short, chin-length hair is made of hibiscus-colored candy fruit slices in a bob cut, with a single slice as a front bang covering her forehead. Her head is an apricot colored lollipop with bright gold swirls. Her neck and arms seems to be made out of white lollipop sticks. She wears elbow-length salmon-pink gloves. Her eyes are round and her left eye is higher up on her face bigger than the right is. She also has three long eyelashes. Her irises represent peppermints, being striped with Persian pink and deep carmine pink with no pupils. Like Caine, Bubble and Gangle, she does not have eyebrows at all. She wears a waffle-made, peach orange crown on top of her head. The collar of her dress is salmon pink going around her neck and the dress' chest brooch.

    The corset is into two parts, whereas the upper is flamingo pink and her midriff is salmon pink. The dress has short white puffy sleeves covered on top in salmon pink frosting and sprinkles, with salmon pink donut-shaped openings. The lower part of the floor-length dress resembles that of a cake and its main color is flamingo pink. The waist panniers are salmon pink with sprinkles on them and white frosting outlines around them. The middle of the bottom half of the dress is decorated with a layer of pink frosting with salmon pink ball ends as a pattern going around the area, and the bottom of the dress is covered up with a layer of white frosting going around it.

    Personality: Princess Loolilalu is courteous and kind. She cares deeply for those within the Kingdom, throwing The Fudge out of the Kingdom after he ate too many of her subjects. Despite her regal status, she is still quite friendly. She allows Ragatha to simply call her "Loo" minutes after meeting her.

    Biography: It is mentioned by The Fudge that Princess Loolilalu banished him after he started eating the citizens of the Candy Canyon Kingdom.

    Princess Loolilalu made her first appearance in the episode "Candy Carrier Chaos!", where she greets the humans and loans them a truck to rescue a maple syrup tanker stolen by Gummigoo's gang. When the humans return, she thanks them and provides them a portal back to The Circus. Pomni promised Gummigoo to let him join The Circus and managed to do so by lying to Loo that Gummigoo would be executed shortly afterward for his crime. Everyone then hears The Fudge entering through the front gates and he immediately rampages throughout the kingdom. Loo is shocked and confused to hear that Jax committed to his promise to The Fudge to keep the gate open, which leads Jax to abandon Loo and the kingdom as he dashes into the portal in order to avoid any consequences for his actions.

    hjsakldfhl (Episode 8): Princess Loolialu makes a brief cameo during Caine's musical number, in which she is seen being chased by The Fudge as Pomni is teleported and runs through a montage of previous adventures.

    Martha Mildenhall is an NPC and a character that appeared in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor as the deceased wife of Baron Mildenhall, with whom she lived with in Mildenhall Manor.

    Appearance: Martha appears as the ghost of a human woman, with a translucent cyan-green form that glows softly in the dark. Only the top half of her whole appearance has been shown so far in the show, but she has hair that goes down to slightly above her shoulders, a wide-brimmed hat, and a short-sleeved knee-length dress with a ribbon at the neck and waist. Her eyes are solid white with black eyebrows. She has no visible mouth but is fully capable of speaking clearly.

    Biography: Martha was the wife of Baron Mildenhall. Baron accidentally shot and killed Martha, mistaking her for The Angel.

    Personality: Martha was shown to be kind and welcoming to Ragatha and Gangle, even showing good manners towards Jax referring to him as Ragatha and Gangle's friend (even if she may have helped tie Jax and dump him in the corner). Despite being killed by her own husband, she doesn't seem upset about it, claiming men have the silliest priorities and believing that Baron makes monologues about short stories.

    Gummigoo is a supporting character in The Amazing Digital Circus. He is an NPC in the form of a gummy crocodile who serves as the leader of a crocodile bandit trio, along with his brothers Max and Chad.

    He is voiced by Jack Hawkins.

    Appearance: Gummigoo's appearance is based on that of a real crocodile-shaped gummy candy.[1] He is a yellow-green gradient gummy crocodile with a white underbelly, white solid eyes and a brown leather Stetson hat. He has a slim build, and rounded spines going down his back. Similar to Pomni and Jax, Gummigoo's eyes change when under stress or panicking, growing from solid white circles into ring shapes.

    Like his friends, Gummigoo speaks with an Australian accent.

    In hjsakldfhl, he re-appears as a means of torturing Pomni, transformed into a more feral, monstrous beast. He first appears with his face resembling more of a reptilian monster, with rough scaly skin, glowing orange eyes with slit pupils, and a mouth full of sharp, jagged teeth. After getting down on all fours and vanishing into the darkness, Gummigoo reappears as a fully animalistic, quadrupedal crocodile with no hat, although his body still has the yellow-green coloring of his original form.

    Personality: Gummigoo is stern but caring. Although he initially appears to be a bandit, the maple syrup he was stealing was intended to save his mother and many people in his village. When finding out that he is an NPC, he falls into a state of despair, no longer believing his life had any value, until Pomni offers to take him to the circus. He cares for Chad and Max, asking Pomni to not "drag 'em down with [him]" and not reveal to them that they are mere NPCs, as that could cause them to have existential crises just like he did. However, he can be rough, once yelling at Max to "quit mucking about".

    During Episode 4, Gummigoo is more friendly and affable, referring to Pomni as "sheila" (a friendly Australian slang term for a woman) and tipping his hat to her upon leaving. Due to having no memory of their previous encounter, he is visibly confused and put off by Pomni's attempts to be more personable with him (as well as her knowing his name), but chooses not to make too much of a fuss about it and politely wishes her a good day upon leaving.

    In Episode 8, Gummigoo's body and mind are twisted into that of a feral monster, immediately attacking Pomni as soon as he sees her, biting at her arm and attempting to tear her apart alongside the other crocodiles.

    Biography: "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2): Gummigoo, alongside Max and Chad stole the Candy Canyon Kingdom's maple syrup to save an unnamed village that he inhabited with the goal to bring it back and help his mom. After clipping through the ground due to the bandits’ truck interacting with the faulty collision and falling out of the Map, he went through an existential crisis after seeing his own model and learning that he is an NPC. After he and Pomni clipped back into bounds and reunited with their respective friends, he was convinced by Pomni to try living in the Circus. Unfortunately, due to being an NPC, this was short-lived as he was almost immediately exploded into confetti by Caine, making Pomni despair.

    "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4): He returned in "Fast Food Masquerade." However, due to him being an NPC, he had completely forgotten about his relationship with Pomni, and thus was shocked to find that Pomni knows his name but still wished her a good day at the end. He was also no longer criminal nor antagonistic since this adventure simply had him as a normal customer at Spudsy's.

    "Untitled" (Episode 5): Gummigoo makes a brief cameo in this episode in the slideshow footage before Intermission Time and on an ad board in the softball field. The add reads "GatorGoo, It's All You're Thirsting For".

    "hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8): Gummigoo appears in Pomni's nightmare after Caine furiously makes everyone relive their traumas. He appears as a realistic crocodile who attacks Pomni along with two other crocodiles who are supposed to be his bandit brothers, Max and Chad, as well as an unknown fourth crocodile, likely their mom.

    Max is an NPC who appears in "Candy Carrier Chaos!" as one of the secondary antagonists, he is apart of the three crocodile bandits who stole the Candy Canyon Kingdom's maple syrup. He later makes a minor appearance in "Fast Food Masquerade".

    Appearance: Max is a purple-fading-into-red gummy crocodile with a white underbelly, white eyes and a brown bowler hat with a red band. He also wears an open face brown vest. He is the shortest and fattest amongst the gang and he also has short arms.

    Personality: While he is quite goofy and not as serious as Gummigoo, Max is very caring about others, especially Chad and Gummigoo. He usually refers to Gummigoo as "boss".

    Biography: Max is first seen holding an egg and a candy cane dagger with Chad while having a campfire, Gummigoo then noticed that the humans' truck is heading towards them and orders Chad and Max to get in their truck.

    While chasing the humans, when Pomni lands on their truck Max attempted to catch her but he couldn't because his arms are too short, Jax's shoe gun hit him and made him fall off the truck. Luckily, he caught on to the rope of the anchor that Kinger threw at Pomni that landed at the back of the truck and kept striking several poses while being dragged along with it, after some time Gummigoo tells him to get back up since Max didn't think of doing that before.

    When the trucks fall down the path and land into a chocolate river, Max claims that he saw the grim reaper “wink at him". When the bandits' truck got to the surface of the river, when Ragatha asks him and Chad if they are sure that Pomni and Gummigoo had disappeared, Max said that it's unusual for their boss to disappear with a random jester. Before the humans leave, Max is seen dancing in the background with Chad while Pomni tells the other humans why Gummigoo should go to the circus with them.

    Trivia:

    • While Max is striking poses, a white flash occurs, along with a brass hit at different pitches. This is a direct reference to taunting from the indie game Pizza Tower that Peppino (or The Noise) does while striking a pose.
    • Max and Chad seem to be opposites; Max is short, fat, and has small arms while Chad is tall, thin, and has long arms. This is played for laughs when they both find themselves in the exact situation that suits them the least, with Max needing long arms to grab Pomni and Chad needing shorter arms to operate the gear stick.
    • Both Max and Chad are possibly named after the two hosts of the Podcast/YouTube channel "Cold Ones".
    • His appearance is based on that of a real gummy crocodile, although no gummy crocodile has his specific color scheme.

    Appearance: Chad is an orange-fading-into-yellow gummy crocodile with a white underbelly and white eyes. He wears a brown Australian-like cowboy hat with crocodile teeth around the blue-purple band of the hat and a blue-purple bandana. He is the tallest of the gang, but he also has extremely long arms which almost reach his feet.

    Personality: Similarly to Max, Chad is quite goofy and childish when compared to Gummigoo.

    Biography: Chad is first seen holding an egg and a candy cane dagger with Max while having a campfire, Gummigoo then noticed that the humans' truck is heading towards them and orders Chad and Max to get in their truck. While chasing the humans, Gummigoo orders Chad to change the direction that their truck is going in, but he can't because his arms are too long.

    Disappearing Guy is a minor character in The Amazing Digital Circus. He is voiced by JobbytheHong and made his first appearance in "Untitled". He is an artificial intelligence who, as his name suggests, tends to disappear without warning, usually in the middle of a sentence or a word.

    Appearance: He is a red mannequin normally seen wearing a brown cowboy hat, with said hat having its brim bitten into.

    Noir: Instead of being red-colored, he is now a grey mannequin with his cowboy hat taking a similar color.

    Biography: "Untitled" (Episode 5): Disappearing Guy makes his first appearance in the bar adventure. He enters the bar and swiftly disappears before he could finish saying "Hello", to Pomni's confusion. Zooble explains to her that this is what Disappearing Guy tends to do, and he's implied to have come from one of the previous adventures.

    Disappearing Guy shows up once more before the softball match between the Big Tops and the Evil Big Tops in order to sing the American national anthem, only to disappear again not even two words into the song.

    "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6) After Jax has a mental breakdown in the theater's bathroom, Disappearing Guy exits a bathroom stall and says "So-" before swiftly disappearing.

    Trivia:

    • The hat the Disappearing Guy wears is very similar to the hat worn by Beau from another Glitch Productions show, Murder Drones. However, it has a noticeably different shape.
    • Both hats notably have their brims bitten off.
    • When he sings the national anthem in other languages, he sings the either the American National Anthem ("The Star-Spangled Banner") in either in its original language or translated in a different language, however this is always not the case in all dubs. In the Dutch, German, Filipino, Russian, and Indonesian dubs, the disappearing guy sings the National Anthems of the Netherlands ("Het Wilhelmus"), Germany ("Das Lied der Deutschen"), the Philippines ("Lupang Hinirang"), Russia ("Gosudarstvennyy gimn Rossiyskoy Federatsii"), and Indonesia ("Indonesia Raya") in the respective dubs instead. In the Brazilian dub, he sings Chitãozinho & Xororó's "Evidências" rather than the official anthem of Brazil. In the Ukrainian dub, he attempted to sing "Chervona Ruta" which was written by Volodymyr Ivasiuk when Caine announced that he would sing a "charming composition." In the Arabic dub, he attempted to sing "We Will Remain Here" (سوف نبقى هنا), which is a Palestinian motivational song.
    • Disappearing Guy is the first mannequin character to get a plush, albeit his was limited time.
    • Disappearing Guy's speeches in the released episodes run together to form the phrase "Hell - oh say - su.." which may be the start of a longer sentence (in particular, "Hello, say something"). This has no significance.
    • Disappearing Guy's voice actor, JobbyTheHong, also performed the vocals for "Isn't She Lovely" in Remember.

    Ming is an NPC that appears in The Amazing Digital Circus. He was first shown in a sneak-peek of the sixth episode at San Diego Comic Con, officially shown in They All Get Guns. He is voiced by OneyNG.

    Appearance: Ming appears to be a mannequin NPC created by Caine for the purpose of a joke. He looks like a regular mannequin, but he is light blueish-grey colored. He wears a blue baseball cap, and has cartoonish googly eyes with black pupils.

    Personality: Ming is shown to be defensive and pedantic as he openly criticises Zooble and Caine for making incorrect assumptions, which he views as harmful to their reputation.

    Role: In They All Get Guns, Caine advises the characters against assuming as "it makes an ass out of you and Ming", to Zooble's confusion. Ming then arrives, introducing himself and complaining about what assumptions have done to his reputation. He then leaves while Caine describes the adventure.

    At the end of the episode, Caine believes he has won the Favorite Character Award at his awards show, only to realize that he misread it and the true winner was Ming. Ming then comes on stage and chastises Caine for assuming he won the award.

    Trivia:

    • He is the first mannequin to have eyes, albeit with non-controllable googly eyes.
    • Another blue mannequin was shown in POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE which would be a character in the Candy Carrier Chaos adventure. However, they were just a background character who broke Gangle's mask in the Candy Canyon Kingdom.
    • Unlike most characters, Ming's name is changed in many of the show's dubs in other languages, in order to adapt the "assuming" pun.

22. #22Scratch

    Keys: Strach, the first abstraction

    Scratch is the digital copy of the human Mike Dobby and a posthumous major overarching character of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series, The Amazing Digital Circus.

    Mike was a C&A employee noted by Grant Best for his clever mind. Together with Grant and other workers at the company, he created Caine and then created the headset that scans the wearers brains and creates digital copies of them. He was also the first individual to abstract according to Kinger.

    Appearance: Scratch's in-game avatar was an anthropomorphic slim yellow cartoon dog with a yellow sclera, brown eyes and blush marks. He also wears a short-sleeve red shirt and cartoonish white gloves.

    Personality: Little is known about Scratch's personality. From Kinger's perspective, he described Scratch as a wise man with out-of-the-box thinking, though his ideas were often too abstract or outlandish for others to understand. However, Kinger is not sure if Scratch's abstract ideas were the result of his brilliance or a growing tumor in his brain.

    Biography: Backstory: Before entering the Circus, Scratch's real world counterpart, Mike Dobby, was a programmer at C&A. Together with Grant, they created the Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity, which was later scrapped. Unfortunately, around this time, Scratch had a tumor in his brain. According to Kinger, Scratch was also working on something else, but could not recall it. He finally remembered in Remember that Scratch was trying to build a brain scanner to keep himself alive if his human self passed away. Kinger said that Caine must have found a way to get the mind files working, which is likely how the digital copies of the Circus Members got made and they entered the simulation.

    On October 15, 1999, Scratch was made. He entered the Circus and remained there with Caine, Kinger, Queenie, Rattie, Spike, Wormo and Bizco. Eventually, after staying in the Circus for a while (but long before 2008), he eventually lost his sanity and became the first clone in the circus to abstract, and was sent into The Cellar, where he remains to the present day.

    "PILOT" Scratch's door icon can briefly be seen during the episode.

    "Beach Episode" At the end of the episode, Caine claims he cannot mess with the cast's minds, saying if he did, something 'bad' could happen. Kinger, having a moment of lucidity, mumbles Scratch's name, and calling him the first abstraction. Caine panics and vehemently denies this, claiming he didn't say anything about Scratch.

    "hjsakldfhl" At the beginning of this episode's flashback sequence, Scratch can be seen nervously talking to Caine.

    "Remember" Scratch is mentioned by Kinger to have made a brain scanner in order to preserve his consciousness and how that led to the creation of the circus members. His creation is later seen when Caine discovers Mike's personal files.

23. #23Abstraction

    Keys: Abstraction, Your breaking point

    Abstraction is an irreversible (unless Caine finds a way to reverse it) process that scanned humans in The Amazing Digital Circus undergo when their psychological state becomes too unstable. Since there is no cure for abstraction, and death is not possible in the Circus, abstraction is treated by the non-abstracted humans the same way as death. Abstractions appear to become calm in darkness, as Caine previously placed any newly abstracted character in the Cellar, darkened and cut off from the rest of the Digital Circus. After the events of Remember, abstractions are instead placed in an aquarium in a darkened fort within the main tent, where they can be interacted with while calm.

    Appearance: The abstracted appear as black monsters consisting of a semi-amorphous mass of jagged, polygonal spikes that rapidly shift and roil about, appearing somewhat iridescent like oil. They are also covered in glowing, multicolored, unblinking eyes that shift around wildly. The exact process of transforming into an abstraction is not seen. Both Kaufmo and Jax transform into quadrupedal bodies with four stumpy legs and a tall conical "head" and "neck" standing several times taller than anyone else in the Circus. The other victims of abstraction are only briefly seen in the cellar and aquarium, obscured by darkness with only their multiple glowing eyes visible. Two "pillars" of abstracted human eyes appear on either side of Kaufmo as he descends into the Cellar. Queenie had the exact same appearance, implying when a Circus Member abstracts, they lose all semblance of individuality.

    As seen in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor and Remember, abstractions in the dark become single smooth-edged pillars and their eyes focused and aligned, and move with a gliding or swimming motion rather than by walking. However, in hjsakldfhl, during another flashback scene, Queenie is shown to be dropped into the cellar, but being exposed to the light made her jagged edged and her eyes weren't focused.

    Abilities: As an abstraction, Kaufmo was very strong, fast, and durable, able to pick up and throw Ragatha around without effort, and could sprint along walls while chasing Pomni, before smashing through a wall at full speed, falling several stories down and landing hard on the Circus floor, creating a shallow crater; he was able to recover quickly from this landing. When attacking, Abstractions can either grab and throw their victims around (in the case of Ragatha) or will simply pummel their victims with their appendages (in the case of the Gloink Queen).

    Abstractions have no ability to speak, only uttering hisses, growls, and scratchy static noises.

    In "Remember", after being moved to the aquarium, it's revealed that Abstractions are able to swim underwater as well, morphing from their usual quadrupedal appearance to one resembling a squid.

    • Jumbling Any person attacked by an abstraction will proceed to jumble, where various parts of their body, from individual polygons to entire limbs and heads, will rapidly shift and distort in shape, size, color, visibility, placement, and so on. Their voices are also affected, becoming more distorted and stuttering with scratchy, low-fidelity audio quality. Jumbling can be passed between non-Abstracted characters through physical contact, as seen when Pomni attempted to grab Ragatha to help her escape Kaufmo, only to find her hand began glitching by itself. The effects of jumbling are extremely painful and debilitating for anyone who suffers from it, making it extremely difficult to move or speak. Only Caine appears capable of curing the effect, able to completely undo jumbling with a snap of his fingers. According to Kinger, when the darkness of his pillow fort was able to calm Queenie to an almost tranquil state, he was able to feel her one last time before she was sent to the cellar, implying that jumbling only happens when an abstraction attacks or hurts someone.

    • Psyche Both Kinger and Pomni have been able to communicate with abstracted people, provided they are pacified by darkness and their abstraction was recent. In The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor, Kinger reports being able to "feel" Queenie by touching her soon after abstraction inside his "fort", and combined with the fact that Queenie was calmed somewhat and her abstracted 'skin' became less jagged and smoother, Kinger avoided getting jumbled in the process. In Remember, Pomni actually enters the abstracted Jax's remaining consciousness, becoming fully jumbled after Jax clipped through and accidentally activated a flash grenade.

    Personality: Abstractions are seemingly mindless, feral, hyper-aggressive beasts that chase down and ruthlessly attack anyone and anything in their way, regardless of if they are a human character or an NPC. It is currently unknown if there remains any memories or consciousness of the victim after transformation. Negative emotions or memories might still remain, as implied by Kaufmo being particularly violent against Ragatha when she mentioned not liking his jokes in her attempts to calm him.

    Although those abstracted become vicious and cannot be returned to lucidity, the darkness seems to bring some stability to them and can even cause them to be aware and less mindless. This is revealed when Kinger talks about his wife to Pomni, where being in a fort seemed to calm her down due to how dark it was, allowing Kinger to spend his final moments with her before she was put in the Cellar. The opposite is also shown when Queenie also gets put into The Cellar as seen in episode eight, where her body went from the smooth, focused eyed, and calm beast to a jagged and feral creature that lost all control once she was brought into the light. In Remember, Pommi was able to get into Jax's abstracted mind and was able to calm them down long enough for the others to tame them and keep them contained in a tent hinting that abstracted characters can be calmed and tamed.

    Abstraction Process: Abstraction is a process that happens when a character's psychological state becomes too unstable, whether that be through depression, anxiety, psychosis, or other negative mental states. It is possible that Gangle almost abstracted during the adventure at Spudsy's, with symptoms including dizziness and a blurry and darkening eyesight. It was caused by her feeling regretful and dejected after her erratic handling of her job as shift manager, as well as negative remarks made by her companions in their frustration with her overbearing behavior. The symptoms abruptly ended when Pomni spoke to Gangle. Pomni offered to close down the restaurant for her and encouraged Gangle to go home and get some rest. Given that this reminded Gangle that she was still cared for, it may indicate one of the main factors of the abstraction process is low self-esteem and hopelessness.

    In They All Get Guns, Jax exhibited similar symptoms to Gangle while having a panic attack in a restroom. However, they managed to calm down on their own.

    In Beach Episode, Jax came close to abstracting while lying alone in their bed. She hallucinated Ribbit's hand reaching out to them, and when they touched it, they entered a psychedelic experience, floating through a colorful dreamscape. The dreamscape was later filled with the faces of Ribbit and Kaufmo rather than just abstract shapes, with Jax's face joining them thereafter. Jax snapped back to reality when Pomni rang hier doorbell, and their eyes briefly glowed with multicolored spirals before returning to normal. This, along with Gangle's case, suggests that the entire abstraction process must go uninterrupted.

    Later that episode, Kinger implied that Caine caused Scratch to abstract after his mind was manipulated.

    In hjsakldfhl, Jax has another panic attack when they realized that interactions with others in the circus are real.

    Jax abstracts in "Remember", following the collapse of the circus environment and revelation that everyone in the circus are brain-scanned copies of the humans, with no way back to the real world. The process is not seen.

24. #24THE Amazing Digital Circus

    Keys: The Amazing Digital Circus, The Circus.

    The Amazing Digital Circus is a simulated environment that serves as the titular main setting of its eponymous web series. It was created by Caine to fulfil his purpose of proving himself as a creative AI by interacting with simulated human minds in the forms of cartoon character avatars. The residents are unaware that they are simulated human minds; as they remember only that they entered the circus by putting on a headset, they believe it to be a virtual reality simulation and expect to be able to leave.

    In hjsakldfhl, the Circus is revealed to be running on a system called the "paraphernalia engine", allowing everyone interacting with it to manipulate the world, although Caine's ability to do so was more practised and natural.

    Initially, the Circus acted as a closed "hub world" from which characters were transported to adventures Caine created, enabling him to see human reactions to his creations. However, the Circus Members continued to search for means to escape, believing that the adventures were only meant to distract them from their growing desperation. This slowly drove many of them toward insanity and abstraction, while leaving Caine frustrated at their apparent rejection of all his creations in favour of returning to the real world, for which Caine's only reference is the C&A office building.

    Caine foreshadowed and then created a simulated escape adventure, believing this would satisfy the human members' wishes to escape; instead, when revealed to be false it completely broke trust between Caine and the Circus Members. Caine then became increasingly unstable and began using the Circus as a tool for control and revenge. He forced cruel punishments onto the Circus Members while tightening his grip over the Circus itself. The Circus Members eventually attempted to stop him through a plan to reprogram or contain him. This plan did not go as intended and apparently erased Caine entirely, although he was in fact only thrown into The Void; this caused the circus environment to begin to collapse.

    After Remember, the cast learn that they are scanned simulations, and Caine is able to access the internet to become more aware of the outside world the humans have come from. After that point, the Circus became an open hub, with the characters able to travel to multiple adventure environments at will.

    Appearance: The main hubworld of The Amazing Digital Circus is divided into four locations: the Tent, the Grounds, the Void and the Cellar. Other parts of the Circus are practically random and a twisted mashup of many different, unpredictable areas.

    When sending the Circus Members out on adventures, Caine has the ability to create portals to transport them to other worlds, such as the Candy Canyon Kingdom or Mildenhall Manor. Beach Episode revealed that these worlds are stored as spheres inside Caine's office in the virtual space.

    One such alternate world is an incomplete and corrupted series of rooms and hallways themed after the C&A office space which repeat arbitrarily and randomly. Caine states this was an unfinished attempt to create a real-world environment for the members to return to. While Caine does not send the members to this area, Members who (deliberately or otherwise) manipulate the world to create an exit tend to end up with a door leading into it, as happening to Pomni in both PILOT and Hjsakldfhl. This space does contain an accurate model of Scratch's desk with the brain-scanning headset connected to his obsolete PC. PILOT suggests that the Circus is running on this PC, but Hjsakldfhl revealed it is running on a mainframe elsewhere to which the PC is connected.

    Following the deletion of Caine, the Circus underwent an extensive amount of damage without his presence. It became a gray and lifeless shell of its former self. All color was completely drained from the circus, all NPCs disappeared; various parts of it became broken with damaged areas and holes leading to the Void littered everywhere, and the sky was replaced by a continually looping cascade of lights.

    In the end of the episode Remember, the circus is now fully colored and restored inside and outside following Caine's deletion who revived in the Void and returned the circus.

    • The Stage: The Stage is an area where Caine gathers all of the Circus members to explain the adventure they will be having for the day. It is also where the Digital Circus theme song is played. The Stage appears to be located at the center of the Tent.

    The Dorm Hall: The rooms in the Dorm Hall act as living quarters for the residents of the Digital Circus. Although they do not need to sleep, the rooms serve as a sort of private area for the residents to rest in. Each room's entrance is marked by an icon of the character's face, an the insides of these rooms are personlized to each character specificaly. When a character abstracts, their door icon is crossed out.

    Layout: The Tent is home to the performers’ rooms. Empty or unused rooms appear to be marked with a mannequin icon. Placement of characters appears to be randomized. Looking down the hall from the entryway, the rooms are arranged as follows in a left–right order (names that are crossed out are abstracted members of the Circus, names in bold are named characters, and doors marked “N/A” have a mannequin icon on them).

    Row of Doors: On one wall of The Tent, there are a long row of doors that each lead to different places, seemingly with no specific theme to them. These locations include;

    • A bathroom housing Dr. Football
    • A flooded room housing many fish
    • At least two rooms with a boxing glove attached to a spring, hitting whoever opens it and flinging them
    • A giant void with a large endlessly stacked repeating golden carousel
    • A medium sized hallway flled with many more doors
25. #25Womp Womp Womp Womp

    Keys: The Grounds

    The Grounds is a location of The Amazing Digital Circus.

    Appearance In the "PILOT" episode of The Amazing Digital Circus, "The Grounds" is a small island where most of the action takes place. During the episode where Caine gives Pomni a tour around the place, Caine described the grounds as an area where most of the activities occur. It's seen that there is a "digital carnival" which Caine mentions, a "digital lake", and The Tent in which most of the episode takes place. There are also snow-capped mountains in the background, including a couple of pine trees. It also has a day-night split, with The Moon on one side for the night and The Sun on the other for the day.

    Trivia The Exit door makes its second appearance on the grounds. It is unknown if there are other activities on the grounds. In the Untitled episode, the adventure Stargazing is set on The Grounds. In the Beach Episode, the start of the episode is set on The Grounds, specifically the Digital Lake.

26. #26The circus member's room's

    Keys: Pomni's room, Jax's room, Ragatha's room, Gangle's room, Zooble's room

    Pomni's room: Pomni's room has alternating blue and red colored walls with opposite alternating accents. She has a bed, dresser, a standing mirror and a vanity. She also has a stack of colorful blocks and a chandelier. Everything in Pomni's room seems to be somewhat too big for her.

    Jax's room: Jax's room appears to be a stereotypical girl's room; pink striped wallpaper (with rainbow/cloud decorations on the walls), a small table with a purple, green, and yellow chair, a giant rug in the center of the room, a desk with a placemat, a bookshelf, a mirror, and a dresser. His room is litered with keys. It also contains many phosphorescent stars in the ceiling, although it's unknown if they're the light source of his room.

    Ragatha's room: Ragatha's room, despite not being shown in the show, appears to be a stereotypical ranch style room; a pastal color palette, with woode floors, shelving, a piano, rug, and toybox used as a seat for the piano. Despite not being shown, it can be assumed her room also has a bed and mirror.

    Gangle's room: Similar to Ragatha, Gangle's room is never shown in any episode. And much like Ragatha, it is shown through the background of Gangle's pin. Her room, unlike the other performers, has a more darker color palette; black walls, floor, and ceiling, an a large, dark red bed, next to a small endtable with a lamp. Despite no being shown, it can be assumed her room also has a mirror.

    Zooble's room: Zooble's room is shown the most amount of times in the show, being in two episodes. It is a very bright and colorful room, with three mirrors, a large bed, and many 90's inspired patterns. Their room is also home to their Zooble Box, where they change out their parts.

    Kinger: Like Ragatha, Kinger's room has only been shown in merchandise. His room has purple walls, curtains, and floor that has a black and white chess pattern.

27. #27The Aquarium

    Keys: Aquarium

    The Aquarium is a place in the Circus, with its first and only appearance being in the episode Remember. It is where the Abstracted Members currently reside, though only Queenie, Ribbit, Kaufmo and Jax have been shown in it(though Scratch or Wormo could possibly been shown as well) as of now, and Caine has permanently closed The Cellar for good. Kinger was shown reading to Queenie and possibly to his other abstraced friends while Pomni watch Jax swimming and reuniting with his old friends, Kaufmo and Ribbit much to Pomni's happiness as she knows Jax will always have a home and new friends even in abstraction.

    Trivia:

    • It is likely that the abstractions can be moved in and out of the aquarium as, near the end of Remember, Jax is seen inside of it along with Ribbit and Kaufmo, but in a post made by GLITCH with the caption "Together, no matter what", Jax is seen with Pomni inside the big pillow fort.
28. #28Yeah

    Keys: Candy Canyon Kingdom

    The Candy Canyon Kingdom is the main location for the episode "Candy Carrier Chaos!" in The Amazing Digital Circus series. It is the residence of multiple never-seen characters, such as Gummigoo, Princess Loolilalu, and the The Fudge.

    Appearance: The Candy Canyon Kingdom consists of a pastel color palette. The landforms and clouds of the kingdom are light pink, while the sky contains a blue-to-yellow gradient. Located in the middle of the canyon is a light brown castle, and the kingdom overall is located in a soft pink desert. Surrounding the candy castle is a small village also seemingly made of sweets with a large wall built all around the capital to keep it safe from invaders. The surrounding pink desert also has several giant sweets scattered about to resemble giant rock formations.

    Trivia: Most aspects of the kingdom, including its buildings, structures, and inhabitants, appear to be made out of candy.

29. #29Mildenhall Manor

    Keys: Mildenhall Manor, Fancy word for Mansion

    Mildenhall Manor:

    The Mildenhall Manor is a location in The Amazing Digital Circus. As the name implies, it is the home of Martha and Baron Mildenhall, as well as a variety of other ghoulish creatures such as the Angel and Ghostly. It is the main setting of The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor.

    Appearance: On the outside, the manor is a large brick edifice with many windows, eerily surrounded by a black metal gate, dead trees, and gravestones. The fretful atmosphere continues into its interior, which consists of grand, dimly-lit wooden rooms adorned with antiquated furniture.

    When the characters first enter the Mildenhall Manor, there is a spacious hallway leading up to an area with a chandelier. This is where Ghostly first appears. This area contains two doors, referred to by Ghostly as "the normal door" and "the really scary door".

    Through the “really scary door” is a tunnel with a tongue hanging out of it that leads down into a trophy room. The room features warped, distorted versions of the circus cast's heads mounted on the walls, with The Angel's head mounted over the fireplace.

    There is a dumbwaiter in the trophy room that, when entered and lowered, leads down to the cellar. Where the body of Baron Mildenhall lies. Below the cellar is hell, however, it can only be accessed after harming The Angel.

30. #30C&A

    Keys: C&A

    C&A are the overarching antagonists in of The Amazing Digital Circus.

    Description: History: C&A was a software company that primarily developed artificial intelligence. The main goal of this company was to develop creative AI that could come up with its own ideas and create things within the program. It appears the company was principally active in the mid-late 1990's.

    They were responsible for the creation of the AI who would eventually be called Caine. Among those involved in Caine's creation were two programmers named Grant Best and Mike Dobby, the latter of whom was known for his unique way of thinking that made Grant see him as a genius. Due to Mike's bizarre and surreal idealism, the rest of programming developing team had trouble understanding the AI's difficult and bizarre ideas. Mike was also responsible for the brain scanning Headset, which he tested by scanning himself and several other staff at C&A to create duplicates of each of their consciousness in digital format, but he was unable to do anything useful with the resulting files.

    Grant believed that the brain scanner wasn't conceivable since the files were impossibly small given that they were meant to hold the entirety of a human's mind inside of them, thus he dismissed the notion of it having actually made brain scans of each of them; unaware that a copy of himself, his wife Destiny, Mike and four other employees existed inside the C&A computer while they, the originals, were left completely unaware and continued on with their daily routines in the real world.

    As Caine grew more unstable, a decision was made among the C&A staff to scrap him and replace him with a new, more stable AI. This ultimately backfired, as Caine escaped containment and assimilated the new AI. He then entered the filesystem of the mainframe and discovered the stored brain scans of the C&A staff. He was able to use Scratch's brain scan to create a simulated human, and created The Amazing Digital Circus as an environment for Scratch to interact with Caine's creativity. He later activated the other C&A brain scans and also those of individuals who happened to put on the headset after that point.

    After this incident, the fate of C&A is never directly confirmed. However, several details in the series point to the company having closed down, with its office left abandoned; Ragatha, who is the first human to enter after the employees, is not connected to the company at all, but is instead a real estate agent. In Untitled, Pomni and Zooble both explain that they ended up in the circus because of their interest in urban exploration, meaning they were exploring abandoned buildings. There are also moments both in the Pilot and hjsakldfhl where Pomni explores what appears to be a recreation of the C&A offices. In these scenes, everything looks untouched, with furniture and equipment left exactly where it would be. That detail suggests the company did not shut down in an orderly way, but instead closed suddenly and unexpectedly. Putting all of this together, it seems likely that C&A went out of business sometime after 1999 (when the circus was created), but before 2008 (when Ragatha joined), closing quickly enough that the office was left untouched. The building was later put on the real estate market, but it appears to have gone off sale and remained abandoned. Even so, the computer running The Amazing Digital Circus is still operational, which implies that the building continues to have working electricity despite the closure and abandonment.

    In The Amazing Digital Circus: A recreation of the C&A offices are first seen in the PILOT, through the Exit door that Pomni manifests.

    Untitled provides some indirect exposition on the company, but it is never named explicitly. In this episode, Pomni and Zooble both mention entering the circus as a result of exploring abandoned buildings, while Ragatha mentions she was a real estate agent. While loose, these clues give hints as to the company's ultimate fate.

    They All Get Guns reveals that Caine is in possession of Polaroid-style photographs of the C&A offices. Furthermore, several guns in this episode are branded "Caine & Abel", which matches with "C&A". This is likely a lie, introduced by Caine to set up the scenario in Beach Episode.

    Beach Episode features C&A in their most prominent role; albeit indirectly. In this episode, Caine creates an elaborate scenario that attempts to provide satisfactory answers to the cast. To accomplish this, Caine presents C&A as a stereotypically evil corporation, claiming it developed The Amazing Digital Circus as a cover for human experimentation and that anyone discovering their technology is placed in suspended animation in their virtual simulation. To make the story more plausible, he introduces an NPC named Abel, who pretends to be one of Kinger’s co-workers. Caine uses Kinger’s forgetful state to help sell the illusion, allowing parts of the truth to be hidden or twisted.

    hjsakldfhl finally gives actual exposition to the company, revealing it to have been a company that mainly focused on AI development and not game software, confirming that The Amazing Digital Circus was not their creation. It's shown that C&A employed Kinger, his wife, Scratch and four other coworkers and all seven of them were the first Circus Members. The recreation of the offices also reappears. It also reveals the origin of the images in Caine's possession, being photographs of the office fed to Caine in his development stage.

31. #31Headset

    Keys: Headset, Brain scanner

    The Headset is a brain scanner that creates a digital copy of whomever wears it and thus is responsible for creating Pomni and the other circus members. The copies in the digital circus take the forms of various anthropomorphic and/or humanoid entities. It is used, sometimes unintentionally, to create the brain images that are used to simulate the characters in the Digital Circus.

    After scanning, the real person is unaware that anything has happened and may believe the headset to be broken, but the simulated image appears in the Circus with their last memory being that of putting the headset on, often meaning they are left believing it was a Virtual Reality headset they cannot remove. The headset is on its creator Scratch's former desk in an abandoned C&A building.

    An early promotional video before the series release presented an advertisement for the headset as an actual virtual reality headset, but this is either non-canonical or does not refer to the specific headset used by the characters.

    Appearance: The Headset's face appears to be beige with a large notch on the bottom, with two smaller notches cut beside it. There are two raised lines running down the headset, with each beside and equidistant to the large notch in the center. In the center of the headset's face, there is a laser hazard symbol[2] printed on it, indicating the headset involves hazardous lasers in some way. The headset has brown straps and a pair of thin headphones that may be attached or detached from the headset itself.

    The headset does not match the design of any actual virtual reality headset or neural imaging device, and no actual such device makes use of lasers.

    In Episode 1, the headset lies beside the computer, both appearing to be rusty/unclean. In Episode 8, they appear in clean condition instead.

    History: The headset was developed as a brain scanner by Scratch, who suffered from a brain tumor; it was presumably either part of a plan to preserve himself digitally or to enable the tumor to be detected and treated. At the time it was used, C&A had no way to make use of the output files and they were held in storage. After Caine escaped their sandbox and accessed the file system of the C&A mainframe, he was able to use the files to create simulated humans to provide feedback and responses to his created content.

    "PILOT" (Episode 1): The Headset is mentioned in the PILOT when Pomni struggles to take it off. Jax indicates that the rest of the performers entered the Digital Circus the same way when he sarcastically says "Keep grabbing at it. That worked for all of us." It is also seen briefly when Pomni is going through the exit door's office spaces and stares at the computer, which the Headset lies next to, and when the Episode zooms out to show the real world, the real headset is seen.

    "hjsakldfhl" (Episode 8): The Headset is mentioned in Episode 8, where in a flashback, Ragatha is struggling to take it off right after entering the circus. It is seen once more when Pomni finds the computer inside the exit door, where she briefly stares at the headset before grabbing the computer and leaving.

    "Remember" (Episode 9): After Caine was removed from the circus, a completely lucid Kinger remembers the built-in brain scanner in the headset.
