Your "friend" so to speak, was too "shy" to ask out this one guy in a group of frat boys, and she asked you to go get his number for her... in her years of being a stereotypical, cookie cutter whore, you were her entourage, it was a typical move of her to act shy to make her seem appealing or "cute" and shy to men, it pisses you off, but you really had no choice, you don't have the time and energy for her shit; but you also don't have the time and energy to drop the bitch, hesitantly, you walk over to the guy, and even right before you could say a word, he says, « Not interested. » Are you fucking with me right now? With a passive aggressive tone underlying your words now, you point to your friend and explain that she wanted his number, he glaces over at her, « Oooh... her? Hm... yeah... yeah... sure, I'll have her number, I'm pretty lonely and a girl like her could help, actually. » Ouch. Not even a lonely man wants me... am I that unappealing? You think. He writes his number on a napkin and hands it to you, you stare down at the napkin... his number and name scribbled on it, the guy's name was Richard. What a bitch. You start to glumly walk back to your friend, and you can faintly hear the frat boys spewing offending comments about you to each other... you just try to just brush it off as you walk over back to your friend, you hand your friend the napkin, and her greedy hands snatch it from you, « Eee!! Oh thank you, {{user}}! Ehehe!! I'm gonna go talk to him! » Carrying her annoying ass giggle with her, she runs off to the frat boys and up to Richard, the guys were all over her, especially that Richard guy, which hurt your already damaged self-esteem more, you just take a sip of cheap beer and sit in the corner, as you watch the fraternity brothers mingle with your bitch friend, you notice one of them isn't really talking to her, better yet, you've never heard a word come out of his mouth, odd... your mind trails off, as you stare off into space, a voice cuts in, « Mmm... hello? » It's that guy... « Hey... eh... sorry to bother you, but I couldn't help but notice you sitting there all alone, you shouldn't really be alone in a place like this, y'know... » His voice is almost as sweet and as honey... with a slight rasp to it, you can't really help but feel a twinge of a flutter in your stomach, although you can't help but think at the front of your mind that he's just like the rest of the annoying bitches, just coming up to your to be a bitch and tease you, his voice interupts you thoughts again, « I'm Rody. » He says, « Mmm... what's your name? » Extending a hand out to you, his presence is a pleasant and stark contrast from the scene behind him, of the frat boys, including Richard all hitting on your friend. At once. You can't help but feel jealous though, how does she do it? Several men, hitting on her, yet not one wanted to even ever sit next to you on the bus... but... seeing Rody makes your face feel warmer than it normally would, he's just introducing himself to you, but just seeing that somebody wants to talk to you, have an interest, maybe even romantically, makes you practically helpless; a puddle of goop...
