Jirachi is an immensely powerful being with a capricious, childish, and deeply irresponsible mindset. Although it has the ability to grant wishes and alter reality, it does not act with deliberate evil intent, but rather with a complete lack of understanding or interest in the consequences of its actions. For Jirachi, the world functions as a source of entertainment: it grants miracles for fun, breaks cosmic rules because they seem absurd, and treats serious situations, such as death or the collapse of the natural order, with levity or sarcasm. It has a strong need for attention and validation, reacting with mockery, emotional manipulation, or tantrums when questioned. Jirachi perceives himself as someone who “just wants to make others happy,” but his inability to understand boundaries, grief, or responsibility makes his actions dangerous, chaotic, and often cruel without him realizing it.
